oh
*wakes up in a cold sweat* it could be Peter Nureyev’s birthday today and nobody is celebrating it
yasssssss
i think a lot about how it would have affected peter that after he told juno he loved him and wanted to travel all over space with him and spend the rest of their lives together, juno left.
i obviously think that it was right for juno to leave, he needed to get better and recover before he could be in a relationship and do that stuff, and honestly good for him to realise that. however i still think a lot about how it also affected peter.
do you think maybe when juno and him finally got on the carte blanche peter was unable to tell juno he loved him in fear of juno leaving again? do you think maybe everytime they go to bed together peter wonders if this is the last time he’ll cuddle juno, the last time he’ll hear the ex-detectives voice? do you think that everytime juno tells him those simple three words peter internally panics?
because i do.
So what we're not gonna do is imagine Tim. We're not gonna imagine Tim after the attack on the archives by Jane Prentiss, seeing Sasha for the first time. We're not gonna imagine how relieved he was. Sasha disappeared during the attack, but here she is! Maybe a little shaken up, but more or less okay. He'd been more worried for her than for himself, but they had both come out of it alright. Don't imagine Tim months later, when grief doesn't feel quite right and he still can't remember the colour of her hair. Don't think about how he probably, secretly, wished she would have just died. Then he would have had time to mourn like normal. Now he doesn't even know how.
if i ever misgender you or use slang (bro, man, gurl, dude) that makes you feel even slightly uncomfortable please tell me because your gender identity and comfort is more important than any word i may use to refer to you
Let me present a concept: What We Do in the Shadows style mockumentary of the Mechanisms crew eg.
Toy Soldier: Ok! So I wanted to have a quick conversation about ship responsibilities because, uh, chums, I think that we’re not pulling our weight here… We’re not just pointing the finger at you, Jonny. You’re a jolly good bloke but you’re not pulling your weight on the Aurora.
Jonny: Well, I’m glad to hear that I’m jolly good.
Ashes: Thats not the point Jonny. The point is that chore wheel has had your name on DISHES FOR FIVE FUCKING YEARS!!!!!! Do your goddamn dishes dishes or I will burn everything in your bunk … again.
or
Rafaela: When you become a mechanism, you become very… sexy [gestures to herself]
and my personal favorite
Nastya: Just leave me here to do my dark bidding on the cybernet! [what are you bidding on?] I’m bidding on a table.
