Jasmine is quite the “firework” as many people call her. Her temper isn’t the best however, once people see the better side of her she is beautiful and sweet. She doesn’t pick on others for no reason, but she refuses to let others walk all over her. She hates letting others see her cry, it was a rule she learned when she was younger but she could never really help it, as sometimes her past got the better of her.

Jasmine grew up with six siblings, well including herself. Five brothers, and one younger sister. She was naturally a tough cookie since everyone in her family were somehow emotionally, physically and mentally resilient

Her mother was a prostitute in the red light district, achieving the title of oiran, considerably the highest position a women could achieve in the red light district. While her father died of murder. Though, she never thought he was deserving of that title as he raped their mother to have her, She never really felt anything after his death, he deserved it and everyone knew it. Everyday her father was alive she knew that he’s was just another reminder of her birth, and she hated that, so she killed him.

It didn’t seem like her mother really liked her either, considering when she was younger she’d never let Jasmine get closer to her, and that was with any of her children really, almost as if she was scared. However, she could clearly understand why.

Once she was thirteen, she had gotten in her first “relationship.” He was fifteen and she loved him however it didn’t always seem to be that way vice versa. He would always try to physically hurt her as well as emotionally, but then he tried to brush it off as if it never happened and if she were to mention it he would just make an excuse, something like “family issues.” However, he was soon drafted off to become a Samurai. She never saw him again after that.

Soon after, when she was fifteen, Jasmine and her sister had to follow in her mothers steps. She was to “provide” for her family. Even though she didn’t want to, it was forced upon her. She often was Sexually harassed by people around her age or older. She wasn’t ready for sex or anything sexual but it didn’t seem like they cared and one day she had been sexually assaulted, it was a man who wanted to marry her. He was obsessed over even the slightest thought of her, and he wanted to keep her, so he tried to b@by trap her into making her stay with him. So after he did what he did she killed him in his sleep She cried that night, for the first time in forever she cried, almost all the way till morning but she disposed of the body, pushing it out the window for the first time in forever she cried. She carried a child but wasn’t ready, so when she was sixteen she left it with her brothers.

She planned to runaway, before she heard gossip of her sister also running away, although she was caught and killed. then, a demon had come and attacked not soon after, it killed everyone. Including her mother and her siblings. She was the only one who ran away alive that night, and met Tegen Uzui, and Rengoku Kyojuro. Who took her in as a demon slayer, and four years later, she became a Hashira.

The History of Firecracker Breathing

Also known as Firecracker Breathing, this breathing style was created by Kosuke Hamasaki, a very brash and bold young man who trained under the now former Sound Hashira; Tengen Uzui. As Kosuke was taught to be as loud and bold as he possibly could with Sound Breathing, he couldn't help but be mesmerized with how Flame Breathing users danced around in flames when in battle.

Deciding that he wanted to impress his master with a dance he learned. Kosuke combined aspects from both Flame Breathing and Sound Breathing into a very beautiful and emotional swords dance that held both surprise and explosives. Impressing his master and accidentally creating a whole new breathing style.

With how loud and graceful this breathing style was, Kosuke decided to name this breathing style; Firecracker Breathing, after seeing how beautiful yet brash Japanese fireworks were.

It is noted that Firecracker Breathing users are able to see through thick clouds of smoke, and are practically trained to be able to breathe through smoke itself. (Though inhaling too much can be lethal if left for too long)

Nichirin Type:

Firecracker Breathing requires a modified Nichirin blade that has ever-burning charcoal essence embedded in it's steel. Making the blade extremely hot to touch, no matter the circumstance

Total number of move sets: 7

First Form: Strike-Pass Flash

Similar to Thunder Breathing's First Form, the user will hold their breath in and bunch up all the air they can possibly store into their lungs.Storing as much energy as they can, the user will then dash up forward (similar to that of a firework) and decapitate their enemy with an explosive attack. Usually in the form of a small firework explosion.

Second Form: Squealing Whistle

Not so much of an attack-based move. This form is used to lure out enemies, or signal to others via secret communication. The user simply puckers up their lips, shrivel up their lungs, and release a high-pitched shrill that sounds similar to a firework shooting up.

Third Form: Smoke Screen

To flee from an attack, or distract an enemy, the user will release a bunch of mini fireworks into the air or ground. Causing smoke bombs to fill the air and give them enough time to flee, or attack.

Fourth Form: Exploding Ash, Cut!

Using their blade, the user will coat gunpowder along it's side and dash forward at their opponent, waiting for the gunpowder to explode due to the heat of their blade, and pressing the burning steel against their neck. Once the gunpowder explodes, (users must be extremely careful) the neck will be burned and tender, easy for the user to just slice right through.

Fifth Form: Dance of the Fireworks

When evading from multiple, continuous attacks, the user can leap around with the elegance of a dancer, and release multiple explosives to both impair and disable their enemies. Useful for both evading, defending, and attacking.

Sixth Form: Final Finish! Cheer!

A very flashy and performance-like move, this move will only work if the enemy is somewhere above, or higher than the user. Building up enough strength and confidence, the user will use the area around them to leap upwards towards the opponent. Building up speed, strength and heat before finally decapitating the opponent with an exploding finish. Usually in the form of a massive, colorful firework.

Seventh Form: Final Show

A move that should never be used, as it involves the suicide of the user. This move will only work with a partner, as the user will need to run up to the demon and wrap their body around the neck, squeezing and setting off an extremely lethal explosive that will scar and burn the demon's neck. After the user's suicide in tenderizing the neck, their partner will finish the job. This move is only to be used in an extreme dire circumstance.
