⠀ the only daughter of a bank teller and a wannabe actor turned professional stunt driver who practically abandoned his family for the chase of fame . he had set off to los angeles in hopes of jump-starting his career in the 80's, promising that once he makes it, he'll bring them out with him. thankfully, in the mid-80's, marlon's stunt driving lands his name in numerous action movies, putting himself on the map. his promise to move the girls out, however, never comes to fruition as niecey refuses to leave the comfort and reliability of dayton as well her job .

⠀ aiyana is soon on plane rides traveling back and forth from cali to florida by herself, only visiting her father for summers and holidays or whenever her mother allowed it . with marlon having a nice income, he spent it on the hollywood dream : a mini mansion, luxury brand clothing but most importantly cars ⏤ lots of them . his collection was everything to him, which meant it was everything to yani . every other day, he'd have a hood propped up and teaching yani every little bit of information her child brain could soak up . something about his baby not needing to depend on a man for a flat tire. this, alongside watching movies and tv shows knowing her father was behind the wheel in those crazy scenes, sparked her love for driving and admiration for cars .

⠀ when yani turns sixteen, marlon takes her to an empty parking garage and lets her drive his BMW 850CSi freely . it was noticeable that her driving skills were derived from go-karting and watching his movies because she drifted like a madman . her turns were rough, breaking was a bit jagged, but her speed was unforgettable; she had the same adrenaline rush and determined look in his eye that only came to her father when on set . due to this, marlon lets her have the car but only under the conditions that her mother didn't know and that she only drove when he was with her .

⠀ yani turns nineteen in 1997; her mother actually decides to fly out to cali with her for her birthday . the family is back together but tension is running high with her parents . to get away from it, she sneaks the keys for her car and took off into the los angeles night . hours later, the moores get the phone call that her car spun out of control and flipped, resulting in life threatening injuries . yani fights for her life for days but eventually recovers yet nothing is the same when she comes to . her parents officially divorce, niecey forces her to cut contact with marlon, she has to go to physical therapy for her leg which causes her to lose out on her scholarships she already obtained... just a terrible year altogether .

⠀ her early 20's were a ride of its own . with college out of the question for the time being and her recovery drawing close to an end, one of her friends decide to expose her to the miami nightlife to get her out the house . she needs to let loose, expand her horizons, live a little more ! how that ended up with her in a tiny, two-bedroom apartment in miami with her friend as they worked at body ? she doesn't know either . though it was at the strip club where she learned about the street racing scene . she'd often show up to watch the races and actually admired the way the rodani prowlers moved, usually throwing small compliments and comments their way . some people suggested she'd become an import model but that wasn't yani's thing . she still had a deep love for cars and, despite the paranoia, driving .

⠀ shortly after the narazi bois were formed in '04, she stumbled across a rodani prowler who was having car troubles. with her expertise, she managed to help out, resulting in an oddly inspiration conversation that ended with them telling her she was wasting potential being at body . since some of their crew left, and that itch to be associated with cars again, yani takes the leap and becomes a mechanic. her hands were shaky and she was a bit hesitant on knowing what she was doing but she was never wrong ! every time another smartass mechanic complained about her, yani made sure she showed out, establishing herself as one of the more proficient and careful hands to work on your car.

⠀ since joining the rodani crew, yani has since began to change her ways . she quit dancing and got a practical job; the new era was signified by her cutting her hair shorter and retiring her iconic platinum hair for a copper color . she's more the practical, realistic one in the crew; doesn't sugarcoat when it comes to speaking her mind while flashing a quick grin but has such a deep love and respect for the rodanis! wouldn't trade them for anything in the world <3

001. ⠀ yani, as a racer, suits the nariza bois way more than the prowlers . she was obsessed with drifting and riding reckless, as if her life was in god's hands every time she got behind the wheel . the accident, however, made her resent their way of driving . she thinks it's stupid and that their life isn't worth losing over some chump change or a pink slip but... she's just projecting that trauma she never properly dealt with onto them so take her insults and nagging with a grain of salt .

002. ⠀ when yani saved up enough dough, she brought her own beat up intrega and started working on it as a personal project; mainly due to wanting to know this car like the back of her hand . it's actually held up at the rodani garage, leading to her and a few others to work on it and add modifications as she goes . it's currently lacking any customization and the engine is still pissing her off but i hope that over the course of the group, she's keep upgrading it until it's her dream ride !

003. ⠀ was originally on track to go to college for a scholarship in baseball but her leg was badly injured, causing her to grow dejected towards school . she still dreams about going but truly thinks she's a bit "out of her prime" now .

004. ⠀ hates the mundane life omg . yani works as an associate for a dollar store she's been busting her ass at for years but has yet to be promoted . it makes her miss the fast money at body so bad but she swore off the heavy partying and dancing because those were just bad coping mechanisms she relied on . that doesn't stop her from having that itch to return to those roots, especially when she's so close to quitting . ( bonus: the rodani crew vitis her dollar store often bc she lets them shoplift and the cameras don't work )
