Autistic Kokichi headcannons baby!!

-This man has so so many stims. Nail biting, hair twirling, hand flapping, bouncy leg, swaying. So many,, everyone else can’t remember how many he has.

-Speaking of stims, his “nishinishi” is a vocal stim!

-Will be so hyper focus on a thing that he won’t eat/sleep/etc. Shuichi comes in to actually get Kokichi to take care of himself only to also become hyperfocus on what Kokichi is.

-True crime is his special interest! Also clowns too, why do you think DICE is dressed like clowns?

-The reason he wears wack as fuck clothing is because all other clothes are bad texture and he will scream if he’s wearing bad textures.

-He also wears his scarf nearly 24/7 because he feels uncomfortable and anxious with his neck exposed.

-Also really likes checker patterns because they help him feel calm.

-For similar sensory reasons, he’s really picky with his food. He likes his food cooked a certain way and Kirumi will cook a separate portion for him the way he likes it. //no I am not projecting//

-He’s hyperempathic

-Really likes having pressure on him, Gonta gives the best hugs because of how tight he hugs.

-VERY routine strict. Even a slight change in his schedule is at risk of giving him a meltdown.

-Shuichi gifted him a weighted blanket once for his birthday and he now wears it like a cape sometimes.

-If Kokichi’s going through sensory overload someone will grab his weighted blanket and just drop it on him because it helps him calm down.

-He also likes to just throw his weighted blanket onto people when they aren’t looking. Some it doesn’t affect them all that much (Gonta, Kiibo) others it just causes them to fall straight to the floor (Himiko).

-He shares his weighted blanket with Shuichi. No one else, only Shumai has weighted blanket privileges!!

Just...if they ever make an Encanto show. All I ask is that they give Camilo a boyfriend and Isabela is just like "CAMILO, YOUR BOYFRIENDS HEEEEERE" everytime he shows up.

Kokichi probably uses a multitude of pet names to tease Shuichi and Keebo. (I mean he already calls Keebo “Keeboy”) He gets a kick out of the embarrassment his boyfriends get when he does it. Shuichi or Keebo could just be in the middle of a conversation with their friends and kokichi would come up behind hem, wrapping his arms around them and nuzzle his face in their shoulder (on tiptoes for Shuichi) and just like asks “Come see me in my dorm when you’re done, sweetheart/babe/etc.”

Kokichi and Shuichi were already dating when Shuichi came out as trans, but it didn’t affect much in their relationship. Kokichi always made sure to use the right pronouns, since Shuichi wasn’t sure about changing her name yet.

Shuichi really appreciated all of the support Kokichi gave her, and always enjoyed the time she and her boyfriend spent with each other. He was kind of easy to be with, in a way.

As much as he’ll tease Shuichi at times, Kokichi also loves hyping her up, especially when he can tell that she’s nervous about something, usually another detective case.

Even though Shuichi wanted to keep her hair short, she did like practicing braiding with Kokichi’s hair, which he quite likes. They have some nice conversations during those times.

The two of them would support each other no matter what, and if Shuichi ever needed it, Kokichi was sure the rest of his organization would go after anyone who ever hurt her.
