I've always wanted to catch and cook my own food at some point in my life. I'm a bit of a wuss and would have trouble killing a rabbit or some other small animal but I don't think I'd have trouble with a fish.
Only problem with is that I suck at fishing.
Does anyone know how to block fake users from following your blog? I’ve got a bunch of followers suddenly that are nothing but blogs filled with advertisements (usually porn sites) and I’m sick of it.
Just picked up some frames at a sale. I feel much classier now
Their sound will always mean summer is here.
Caught a baby mouse in the apartment today. It was the cutest little thing and I partially wanted to keep it as a pet. Then I remembered that a baby mouse means a mommy and daddy which means more baby mice.
That cuteness quickly faded as I released it into our side yard.
Koh Phi Phi, Thailand. Original photo shot on my honeymoon there last week.
My days have become the vessel of an inevitable end. One that will consist of a tightened noose or the crimson blood of my one love. She suffers and I cannot bring myself to let her go.
Allison hates pretty much every picture taken of her but I thought there needed to be one up of her and Turdie. Especially one of the two of them just relaxin' in our apartment.

Spent the weekend at our friends Joel & Erica's farm "Emancipation Acres". It was so much fun getting away from the city and spending some time in the wide open fields playing with their three dogs while eating great food and drinking great beer.
Plus we left with two pounds of their homegrown ground pork, a pack of bacon, two dozen freshly laid eggs (we collected them ourselves), some purple cabbage, as well as a jar of honey from their bees and twelve bars of Erica's homemade bars of soap.
It's "Bike to Work" week here in Chicago. A fun unofficial city wide event that is supposed to help get people out of their cars and onto their bikes. It's a great way to stay (or get into) shape while putting in an effort to save a little bit of the environment.
I bike to work year-round, only stopping a few times because of unforeseen problems. Like when I got crashed into, had to have my bike repaired, and when I hurt my knee. This week I see more riders on the road than I do all the rest of the year. It's nice to know that while I make a special effort to ride every single day, there are people who usually drive making that special effort for at least one week out of the year.
I live for the outdoors but pound the city pavement. My wife and I wish our cat and dog would get along.
