Every time I feel like my apartment is cluttered and over stuffed with possessions I just want to fit as much as I can, of what I want to keep, into a suitcase.
Sell the rest.
Hike into the wilderness.
Build a house (a treehouse would be cool).
And live there, away from it all, until I die.
Yay I've reached 20 followers! Not the greatest accomplishment for having a blog for about a year, but still, I'm happy about it : )
Tomorrow marks the day that I'll have revolved around the sun 26 times. Yes it is my birthday and I'm celebrating in style.
Breakfast with the girlfriend.
Rock climbing with friends.
Beers and a burger.
Had a few things to do tonight before heading off on a much needed escape, they are as follows.
1. Go with Allison to get a new swimsuit.
2. Drop off keys with our friend John so he can check in on our cat.
3. Pack my bags.
Seems simple enough right? Well this simple list of things for some reason came with a very annoying and swift kick in the ass. This is what happened while going through my list.
1. Allison gets swimsuit. Our car gets booted because I left the parking lot and got a drink from a place across the street.
2. Park, hop out of car, hand John my keys. Cop tickets me for being in a "no standing zone for less than a minute (The real kicker is if I hadn't gotten out of the car and given my friend a hug then the cop said he would have let it go).
3. I pack my bags and go to get our cooler out of the basement. Get locked out of the apartment, Allison is already sound asleep in bed.
My dad (center) with my uncles and grandfather at our annual father's day BBQ. This was quite a few years ago as everyone is much older now and my grandfather is gone.

At the Doctor Who themed wedding I was in this weekend was a collapsable Tardis I designed to be build by myself and the other groomsmen. It took most of the summer to build but was worth it to see the bride freak out by the surprise.
Side note- It took all summer because I appeared to be the only groomsmen who new how to use basic tools... so it was a building experience in more ways than one.
Doing a tile painting of The Great Wave Over Kanagawa. It's taking a long time to do but is going to look bitching when it's done.
I live for the outdoors but pound the city pavement. My wife and I wish our cat and dog would get along.
