Havn’t Been Feeling Up To Art Lately But-

God he was so emotional in this episode I was thought he might cry, but I’m kinda glad he didn’t One of my favorite things about Osomatsu San is that the drama in the show relies heavily on visual cues and subtext It’s honestly one of my biggest cinematic pet peeves when a show outright says what a character is thinking- because the point f a visual story is to convey it visually And that is one of the greatest strengths of Osomatsu San as a show, that and it’s characterization is fantastic Other characters in the show have been known to cry, and it’s impactful when they do And I thought for the longest time it would be so cool to see Oso cry But the show has taught me that that’s not who he is, he doesn’t cry under pressure, he just shuts down And yet, knowing that him, when he sits there on that bench, loosing his mind, it’s some how a thousand times more unnerving than it could’ve ever been if he had cried

The stuff you make is more than okay, I think it's incredible! I'm sorry you're experiencing so much self doubt, I've been having similar problems with my own are lately. But know that whatever might seem mundane to you can be inspiring to others. I know for certain that your work always inspires me. And honestly I think the stuff you produce is of great quality! I've taken stopmotion classes and stuff and your stuff looks honestly just as good as anything I've scene made in a fancy college studio. The methods you have work for you, and you create such charming animations, you should really be proud of yourself.

Thanks. I was depressed for a time thinking my animations aren't real animations because they are so simple and don't involve a bunch of fancy computer tools I have no idea how to use, or even the tools that are used in the other kinds of animation. All I do is take pictures and lately, I've had trouble even doing that even though it is so simple and lazy. But then I realized a few days ago, that no matter how I make my animations they are still animations and I do them the way I've figured out and I'm able to tell similar stories and make similar effects to everyone else's real animations. So what I make is ok. It's just different. Sorry it took so long for me to figure that out.
