Hey I was just wondering can you do yandere garou x pregnant reader
oof i just posted itty bitty bits of this with the metal bat and garou thingie but i could put some more random ass thoughts here
so
garou is a total sweetheart
yandere garou is a fucking monster
which makes him hot
how he would be great with a pregnart reader, im not so sure. but i shall try
certainly he's possessive af, which would provide you with moments like "you're not leaving the fucking house, stay right there and protect my baby"
but when you just scoff and walk past him, he'll groan and follow you. keeping you cooped up when you're on raging pregnart hormones is hard.
so he'll drag his feet after you all the way to the grocery store, and the second you step inside his alarm bells are going off and an arm latches around your waist not unlike that of a metal bar. and he'll yank you closer and haul u around and growl at other customers and shit bc this is a manchild that you are in love with congrats--hope you can handle two babies at once
lil pussy-whipped yandere garou just graduated into baby-whipped garou, so this mf levels up his AUDACITY.
suddenly you can't take care of yourself, apparently. you're not going to cook, you're not going to work, you're not going to take a piss without a safety escort and an ID scan. these are the rules
that's his baby, and you're his baby.
nothing will happen to you.
hands and lives will be taken if anyone touches you.
also daddy garou loves his baby so much omg its adorable the cheek squeezes and the gushes and the actual tears when this motherfucker feels the baby kick for the first time and goes "garou jr will be a kickboxing champ, maybe I can train him in the womb"
strap in, it's gonna be a bumpy ride
I want this job
What about an Alternate Ending to pumpkin eater reader where Kuroo sees Y/n dating someone else months or a year later (maybe she can end up with one of the other Haikyuu characters or something?) Cause I don’t forgive cheaters 😤
*GIF not mine*
Summary: Last night, your friend sent you pictures of Kuroo with some girl at a random club. Not only was he a liar, but he was also a cheater, and you couldn’t stand to be with him after this.
Part 1
Part 2 (Second Chance)
A/N: Uhhh, sooooo, ermmmm. Here you go…? I hope you like it…? Idk honestly. I mean, I totally agree with you on never forgiving a cheater, but also… my other fic was written so much better. Like I’m tired as hell dude. And I’m sorry it’s late, but I rly, rly hope you enjoy!

Buzz. Buzz.
“Good God, is that him again?”
“...Maybe.”
Buzz. Buzz.
“Son of a bitch, YN! Just block him already.”
“All right, all right fine! I will.”
…
Buzz. Buzz.
“OH COME ON!”
Terushima throws his hands in the air, giving up. You flush and tuck your phone under your thigh, hoping it will silence the buzzing.
It was movie night with your new friend/roommate and he had been seriously invested in the film up until about ten o’ clock, or, as you called it, “Kuroo’s whine time.”
“BLOCK THAT FUCKER!”
You knew he wasn’t wrong. In fact, you should have blocked him months ago. Six, to be exact. But deep down, you just weren’t ready to move on yet.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I turn it on silent.”
Terushima shook his head and held out his hand, giving you a pointed look. “Gimme it.”
“... Nuh-uh.”
“YN,” he dragged out your name, leering closer to you. “Give me the phone.”
“I’m good, thank you.”
“YN!” Terushima didn’t give you another chance. His home, his rules.
In an instant, your back is pushed down against the couch and you’re gasping for air as Terushima viciously attacks your sides with his long fingers. Giggle after giggle tumbles out of your mouth as you curl in like an armadillo.
“I yield, I yield!” You hold your hands after the pain in your abdomen grows to be too much. Terushima smiles at the win and he slows his hands, but keeps them on your sides.
His eyes glow with… something. Something you hadn’t seen since being with him.
But whatever. Maybe it was just the lighting.
The blond squeezes your sides before slipping a hand under your thigh and locating the phone. Before pulling it away, he pinches your soft flesh, completely uncovered thanks to your night shorts, and chuckles at the squeal that leaves you.
“Yuuji!”
“What?” He gives you an innocent look while tossing your phone across the room. Thankfully, it lands on his armchair.
All you can do is sigh and straighten yourself back up, reclaiming your original position by Terushima’s side and returning your attention to the movie. His eyes stay locked on you, so close, for just a second longer before he copies your movements, focusing back in on the movie with a small quirk of his mouth.
You met Terushima a month after breaking things off with Kuroo. He was the only apartment renter who wasn’t a freakshow or a cult leader, and you decided it was high time to get your own place. Especially after your friend, who had hosted you for one angsty, miserable month, kicked you out.
“You need to get over it, YN,” she had hissed, shoving your suitcase back into your arms before slamming the door in your face.
And while you were still working on moving on, Terushima was a big help. He was now your guy friend, who had many guy friends that could potentially become your boyfriends. But every time you asked him about setting you up with one of them, you were instantly shut down.
“You’re too good for them, YN. I’ll help you find someone better, I promise.”
It’s been five months, and you’re still waiting for that “someone better” to come along.
Now, when you had first moved in with Terushima, he seemed to be a bit of a mess. Clothes, his or someone else's, were always strewn everywhere. Girls were common midnight visitors, always sneaking out with their heels in their hands and giving you bashful smiles before slipping out the door. You would only sigh and roll your eyes.
“Your new girlfriend overstayed her welcome this round. I think she stole our Netflix password.”
Terushima would then purse his lips and avoid your gaze, gulping swiftly. “She’s not my girlfriend. I promise.”
“Sure sure. But your one-night stand still stole our password.”
Since then, he’s really cleaned up his act. You haven’t seen a girl come over in weeks. If you didn’t know any better, you’d say you were becoming a good influence on him, much like he was on you. Little by little, day by day, Terushima was beginning to help take your mind off Kuroo.
Since the day you broke down in the blond’s arms and admitted you were still stuck on him, he’s tried to help you. He even takes you on “dates” from time to time. Just yesterday you two had gone clubbing, and though you had gotten shitfaced, you figure something weird must have happened since Terushima’s been a tad awkward around you. But then he threw open your door an hour ago, scared the shit out of you, and reminded you that it was movie night.
You couldn’t help it. Your eyes were constantly drawn back and forth between the horror movie and the constantly-buzzing phone.
“YN look! A jumpscare’s coming!”
Just as you turned back to the TV, the serial killer flashed back into frame, leaving you to screech in terror and burrow into Terushima’s side. His arm wraps around your shoulders and rubs your arms for comfort.
“It’s okay, the killer’s gone now.” His voice is low and honeyed, accompanying a slight smile as he peers down at you with his affectionate gaze.
God how you missed being looked at like that. But you couldn’t get attached. Terushima was like Kuroo, but ten times worse. This was because he wasn’t secretive about his love life. Your very attractive roommate had a higher body count than a war general.
So you kept things platonic, no matter how much your body yearned for another route.
No. Terushima was your friend. Your best supporter at the moment. You couldn’t lose him like you had lost Kuroo.
So even though you cuddled deeper into his side with every heart-stopping scene, and hugged him whenever you were feeling down, and kissed his cheek as a thank you after he would massage your back and scratch your scalp after a long day at work, you would never throw any different labels on your relationship with Terushima.
You just couldn’t lose this one. And with him being a player, there was no point in making your feelings more than what they were.
~~~
Kuroo missed you. God, he missed you so much.
He loved you, and he would never stop trying to get you back!
That girl, she was a mistake. One Kuroo would never make again, because you were it for him. You were his one.
He will call you a million more times, text you, hell even track you down to the ends of the Earth just to have you back in his arms again.
He would give everything just to hear you say “I love you” one more time. He would die happy if he got to see those words fall from your soft lips, carefully quirked into a smile, just once. To have you back in his arms, wearing his clothes and kissing only him….
Fuck. He had to get you back.
There was no sign of you at your friend’s apartment when he finally gathered the guts to visit. Only a slap in the face courtesy of one vengeful friend of yours. He knew he deserved it, too.
But then… God, five more months passed. Not a single woman had been in his bed, your bed, since you left. Every flirtation was turned down, every grabby hand pushed off. The only person he wanted was you.
So imagine his relief when he finally found you.
~~~
“Yuuji, do you ever accidentally hurt someone with the piercing?” Your eyes were locked on the ball of metal sitting directly on his tongue while you took tentative sips of your hot chocolate.
Terushima sat across from you and smirked lazily, sticking his tongue out through his teeth as blatantly as he could. “Boy YN, you sure do ask a lot of questions about my piercing.” He sets his elbows on the small, circular table and leans closer to you. “It makes me wonder if you ever want to feel it for yourself.”
His cologne fills your nostrils, but you don’t mind. It’s become your favorite, most comforting scent. You lean closer and mock his smirk, lowering your voice just enough so only he can hear in the crowded cafe.
“I do.”
Terushima’s pupils widen in the slightest and he subconsciously leans closer.
You do the same, grin growing on your face before you swiftly reach out a thumb and forefinger and snag his tongue, giggling at the surprised yelp he lets out.
“YN!” he pouts with a lisp, smacking your hand away and hiding his mouth behind his own. “Why are you always like this?!”
“I don’t know Yuuji, it must be your piercing or something,” you snicker, picking up your drink once more and taking another sip. You allow your eyes to wander around the cafe, only to lock on the worst sight imaginable just behind Terushima’s head.
It’s him.
He shoves the glass doors open and barges through the crowd. Your companion takes in your panicked gaze and glances over his shoulder, sneering at the person approaching quickly.
“YN,” Kuroo breathes out in disbelief, hazel eyes locked on your tense form. A relieved smile overtakes his face as he reaches out for your hand. “I found you-”
You tear away from him and jump out of your chair, stepping away as your eyes begin to water. “Don’t touch me.”
“YN, I-”
“You heard her, dude. She said don’t touch her.” Terushima fixes an enraged glare on the black-haired man, standing out of his own chair and creating a barrier between your solemn form and him.
“And who are you,” Kuroo spits through clenched teeth, “her new boyfriend?”
“It-...” the blond’s jaw irks before he glances back at you, “it doesn’t matter who I am. If she doesn’t want you around, then you need to leave.”
“You’re not her guard dog, or even her new boyfriend. You’re just a rebound.”
“Guys…”
“YN doesn’t want you-”
“GUYS! SHUT UP!” You breathe heavily after the shout before smiling at the other customers as an apology. “Let’s take this outside,” you snarl lowly.
Like scolded children, the two men trail after you, almost fighting over who gets to squeeze through the door first until you throw them a warning look.
Kuroo pushes past the blond and strides towards you in an instant, capturing you in a hug that you don’t return. “God, you don’t know how much I’ve missed you.”
“Kuroo, I-”
“Tetsurou.” He corrects, voice muffled against your neck.
“... I didn’t answer your calls for a reason. We broke up. I don’t-... we can’t be together anymore.”
Your ex leans back enough to look at your face and scans it for any sign of lying. “YN, I didn’t mean to hurt you. That girl,” he shakes his head, biting his lip, “she meant nothing to me. But you-”
“Kuroo…”
“-You mean everything to me!” A tear trails its way down his cheek, but you don’t care to wipe it away. Your face hardens at the words.
“Then why did you cheat?”
“I was wasted. And she looked like you and I missed you and I miss you still! YN, you need to understand, I love you! And if you give me another chance, I won’t fuck it up.” Kuroo brushes a hair behind your cheek and your eyes widen at the contact. “I love you so much. Please don’t let this be the end of us.”
“...”
“YN, we’re meant to be. It can’t end here. Not for us.”
Kuroo was wrong, and so clearly mistaken. Months ago, you would have collapsed back into his arms. Months ago, you would have cried and muttered that you loved him too, that you still loved him.
But now….
Your eyes drifted past Kuroo, locking on a silent, dejected-looking Terushima.
You just didn’t.
“Kuroo, I can’t forgive you for what you did. I just can’t.” He shakes his head and opens his mouth to respond, but you smoothly press a finger against his lips and continue. “Even if I did, I could never trust you again.”
“YN, if you still love me, then that’s the only reason you need to take me back. I will work every day to regain your trust, no matter how long it takes. I’ll never hurt you again. God, I love you so much, just please, please don’t let us end here.”
Your relationship with Kuroo ended months ago. You both were just struggling to accept that.
“No, Kuroo. No.”
His eyes close and his head hangs, allowing his remaining tears to dribble down his cheeks. “Okay,” he finally whispers, voice silent and cracking. Then he tips his head up and presses a long kiss to your forehead, his final goodbye.
“I love you, YN.”
“I know, Tetsurou.”
Somehow he finds it in himself to smile bitterly at you saying his name, and he nods in thankfulness.
With a deep sigh, he releases you and steps back, scanning over you one last time before turning away with tear-stained cheeks.
You had loved him for so long. He was your first everything, your high school sweetheart, and much like him, you thought Kuroo was it for you. Your happy ending.
You were wrong. And deep down, you were glad you were wrong.
Kuroo halts in his stance on the sidewalk, just barely passing Terushima before he slams his hand down on the blond’s shoulder and grips it tightly.
“Don’t-” he cuts himself off to purse his lips. “Don’t hurt her like I did. Don’t let this one go.”
The skin under Terushima’s eye twitches before he glances up at your face. “I won’t. I’m not stupid enough to make that mistake.”
Kuroo smiles bitterly and releases your roommate, walking away down the street and never looking back.
~~~
A day passed, and you avoided Terushima like the plague.
After seeing Kuroo once again, it reminded you of why you hadn’t ever tried moving on since the breakup even once.
You had gotten so attached, fallen so deeply so quickly, only to be replaced for another woman for one night. You couldn’t handle that again. The pain of feeling so easily replaceable wasn’t worth the risk.
At least, that’s what you used to think.
“YN.”
Terushima finally snagged your wrist just in time after hours of trying to stop you. You shivered in his grip, almost horrified with how eerily similar it was.
“Please stop avoiding me.” Terushima stared at your face with natural puppy dog eyes, and after much internal scolding, you just couldn’t resist.
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. But can we at least talk about it?”
“It” was a lot more complex than it sounded. “It” was a commitment. “It” was a major change in your life. “It” was… was….
“Yeah.” “It” was accepting you might be hurt again, but trying it anyway for love.
Terushima led you to the couch and sat you down to face him, even though your gaze was locked on everything else.
“YN.”
“...”
“YN.”
“...”
“YN, please look at me,” Terushima pleaded, palming your cheek and urging you to make eye contact. When you did was when the walls broke down.
The sparks his touch left against your skin weren’t right. Because why did they feel so right?
You loved Kuroo. Some part of you always would, along with the memories you two shared. So surely falling for someone this soon, this hard was wrong, right?
“Yuuji.”
“Just… let me speak first, okay?” Terushima dropped his hand to your criss-crossed lap, running his fingers along your kneecap nervously. Tingles erupted from the contact, and fuck, they felt so right.
You nod and his lips quirk up gently. “YN, I know you’re probably still stuck on… umm, y’know, that guy, but I also know you must be feeling something for me too.”
If he had said it any other way, you would have smacked him for the cockiness of the words. But the slight nervousness that tinged his tone made you love it all the more.
“A-and I know that you two were like,” he rolls his eyes, “perfect for each other, but I mean come on, there’s something between us too.”
There was. Even Kuroo had seen it, as blinded by love as he was.
“But I know why you’re reluctant too. And YN,” he shakes his head hopelessly and caresses your lower thigh, keeping his gaze locked on yours, “I don’t know how else to show you, but I’m not that guy anymore. Ever since you moved in, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you.”
“Yuuji….”
“No other woman has made me feel the way you do,” he whispers. “And that thought kind of scares me. But I… I just can’t have anyone else. So I’m not gonna let you go.”
You cup one side of his face with your hand and your heart stutters when he leans into the hold. Throughout all of his speech, a small grin had etched onto your face, which was nothing compared to the beaming you felt inside you.
Waves upon waves of adrenaline, elation, and anything akin to utter euphoria lit up your chest. A zoo stomped and trampled over the tiny butterflies in your stomach as you let out a small giggle. Terushima’s eyes widened at the sound and he instantly tried to pull away, but you swiftly smack your other hand on the other side of his face, effectively trapping him.
He looks down and drags his fingers away from your lap reluctantly. “Why are you laughing?”
You almost felt bad, but oh fuck you were so happy! You just couldn’t help it as you let out another chuckle, causing Terushima to struggle in your grip like a floppy fish.
“YN-”
You finally shut him up with a kiss, pressing your smiling, giddy lips against his. So much joy bursts through your chest at the contact, and your heart flutters when the blond groans and tightly grabs at your hips.
He can feel your uncontrollable smiling and laughing against his mouth, and he can’t help but pull away with a confused-- but relieved-- chuckle. “Why are you laughing?”
“I just, hehe, I just can’t…” you trail off in snickers before yanking Terushima closer, wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him while you attempt to stop your cackles against his collarbone. “FUCK!”
Terushima scoffs in disbelief as he holds you against him tightly, baffled at your confusing actions. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
“I don’t know,” you laugh into his skin, tickling him a bit. You creep your hands into his hair and tug on the strands in an attempt to focus yourself on something more serious. It doesn’t work, but Terushima lets out a surprised moan.
“YN!”
“I’m sorry, I’m just,” you press an open-mouthed kiss against his neck, giggles finally slowing, “I’m really happy right now.”
A corner of the blond’s mouth lifts at the words and he presses you closer to his chest. “I’m happy too.” Then he tugs you far enough away that he can see your bright red face. “Now do you wanna feel my tongue piercing for real?”
He licks his bottom lip, displaying the enticing metal bar that lights the pit of your stomach on fire. Well, at least you weren’t laughing anymore.
“Fuck yes.”
*GIF not mine*
Summary: Every letter he wrote you was useless now. After he cheated, they were filled with nothing but lies, and what was the point of keeping lies lying around? (Based on Hamilton song “Burn.”)
A/N: Requests are open :)! I’ve never watched Hamilton, so… let’s just hope this is what you wanted. BUT I DID MY RESEARCH. Now it’s not this whole Hamilton/Haikyuu rewrite, but I did take the gist of the song and write it for Akaashi, so I hope you like it! Enjoy!
Word count: 1217
When you had first met Akaashi, he had enchanted you. The way he spoke so eloquently, how he held himself so purposefully. His looks had struck you first, with black locks tussled so perfectly atop his head and gunmetal blue eyes that struck your heart.
He had bewitched you.
Since the day you met, it appeared you had captured his attention as well. He wrote you letters, and much like the way he delivered his words by mouth, he delivered them through pen potently.
Every paper you received filled you with euphoria. Seeing your name scripted in personalized swirls of his hand lit your love aflame. But it was the sentences, the paragraphs he crafted so passionately that kept you entranced.
“My angel, every second I spend away from you is a second of my life wasted.”
You felt the same.
“Unlike what others say, your love has strengthened me and filled me with purpose.”
You felt the same.
“My angel, we were meant to be. Every thought in my consciousness has been overtaken by the image of you.” You felt the same. “Bliss floods my heart when I receive mail graced with your devotion. I devour your every word like a man starved the longer we are apart. Please, my angel, send more to me. Each piece you send me fills the whole your parted presence has left. I am yours, and your cherishes will fuel me till the end of time.”
You felt the same. Or apparently you felt some way.
In the streets of your own town, on some random day, you began to feel like an outcast. People observed you with pity and sorrow.
“Poor girl.”
“What a shame.”
“No one deserves that.”
What were they talking about?
It didn’t take long for news to travel one step farther. Your friend enveloped you in a hug and rubbed your back soothingly after you had shown up on her doorstep in tears.
“I should have listened to you.”
She had warned you months ago to watch him, be careful around him. She had said that one day, he would hurt you, and she was right.
After months and months of letters exchanging affection and tenderness, Akaashi had broken your heart. He cheated with another woman and hadn’t even had the gall to tell you first.
No, you had to learn from others. People who barely even knew you told you that your relationship had fallen apart.
~~~
That night, Akaashi slipped into the house with a grimace. In search of you, he followed the sounds of a crackling fire and entered the living room. You were seated with your back to him, facing the chimney with your knees on the hardwood floor. Your entire form slumped as you settled back on your heels.
He hesitated to enter, instead clenching his jaw and standing in the doorway.
“Angel…”
“Don’t.”
Your voice was quiet and scratchy as you spat the word. From what he could see, your hands were laid out in your lap, holding something.
The flickering flames were the only thing lighting the dark room, hissing and battling each other to grow stronger. Silence overlaid the tense atmosphere, and Akaashi found himself unable to breathe. His hands twitched by his side, the hands that had touched another woman.
He wanted to hold you, comfort you if possible. But that wasn’t going to happen any time soon.
You heaved a sigh and lifted your head, previously dropped low, and stared into the burning heat. With all the composure you could muster, you unlatched the fireplace door and pulled it open, letting your eyes water at the increased light.
And then you threw one in. His first letter.
Akaashi inhaled swiftly at the sight but he didn’t move a muscle.
He had meant every word he had written in those letters. Things had just… gotten messy and grown to be too much at one point.
At least, that’s the excuse he told you.
“I don’t care,” you muttered in response, observing another letter with a snarl before feeding it to the crackling flames. The parchment was engulfed in seconds, and every sentence that had ever made your heart twinge scorched up with a tsss.
The pile of papers dwindled down to one, and you scanned it over for a split second.
“I will always be yours.”
It charred into smoky flakes just as quickly as the others.
You wiped away a wave of tears and closed the door to the chimney before smoothing out the skirt of your nightgown. Then you rose to your feet and closed your eyes, taking one long, deep breath.
The peace didn’t last long.
Your gaze flew open at the feeling of a hand settling on your shoulder.
“YN, I still love y-”
You threw off Akaashi’s grip and whipped around, giving him a fierce glare.
“I hope you burn in hell.”
His eyes dropped and his cheek twitched at the words.
After a few minutes, you could no longer stand the sight of him. Your heart ached to think that he could betray you in such a way. He said he was mine.
You wished you could forget it all. Not only what he had done, but everything before. The first kisses, the first touches, the first anything.
You wanted to forget the strong arms that had caressed you to sleep at night. You wanted to forget the long fingers that had combed through your hair. The soft smiles, only for you. The flicker in his eyes that spoke volumes. The tenderness of the lips that had kissed you, brushed over every inch of you.
Akaashi wasn’t yours anymore. And God how you wish that wasn’t true.
With a shake of your head, you made your way out of the living room, pausing only in the doorway to glance back at him.
He stood with his head hanging low, but, as if he felt the weight of it, he looked up to meet your gaze.
His eyes, pools of deep indigo with the occasional fleck of cyan, stared at you deeply. They glimmered with hope.
You wouldn’t be so cruel as to feed it.
You turned away with a trembling frown and continued on your trek up the stairs. Footsteps attempted to follow you to the bedroom, but you threw a halting hand over your shoulder and shook your head. The strides slowed to a stop behind you, and you could swear you heard a silent whine.
He was broken over what had happened too. But that didn’t mean you forgave him.
You couldn’t face him as you said it, but one half of your bed would be empty for a while.
“Sleep on the couch for now, Keiji.”
God, I hope he burns.
Can we maybe get a part 2 of the yandere Garou 'the gift-giver' fic?? I love how you write him!
This is so sweet! I'm glad you liked the fic!
Sadly ma brain's got zero ideas for any further scenes for that fic :( feel free to send me ideas if you got any tho!
Hi! Can you do a yandere!Garou vs yandere!Metal Bat, maybe like the reader is friends with both of them but she is oblivious to their feelings or their flirting, they at first did not know of each other but then saw either one of them see the other with her and gets REALLY pissed.
*GIF not mine*
A/N: Okay so honestly, this idea is so good. Like it’s legit amazing and I love it so much. But (yeah, I knew you heard it coming) I wasn’t sure if I should do headcanons or a scenario for it, but I finally settled on headcanons just so I could get it out there. That being said, I’m sorry this took a little while and I hope you like it! (Side note: Thanks for 1.3k followers y’all!!🥳🥳)

Good lordy I love this so much.
Lemme just say, Garou is not a shy yandere when it comes to being around you.
You’d have to be a special kind of stupid to not notice how much he wants you.
As soon as he sees how innocent and oblivious you are, he cranks up the charm to a ten.
Teasing, flirting, he does it all. He’s never timid about touching you, always wanting to feel you and such. His hands are everywhere, and he’s “accidentally” groped your ass one too many times.
Though Garou doesn’t exactly take you on dates, he does try to be around you when he’s not busy beating people up. You’re just so understanding and caring about his side of things that he doesn’t want to let you go.
God, it’s almost annoying how you laugh off every single one of his flirtations.
Seriously, it’ll be like:
*Garou hugs you and kisses your cheek, whispering that he loves you*
“Well dang, you’re being extra friendly today!”
*cue facepalm*
Meanwhile, Metal Bat doesn’t know he’s a yandere. While Garou is fully aware that he would watch the world burn just to have you in his arms, this hero is a little less intense.
In all honesty, I think Badd would only go so far as to follow you everywhere, once again, when he’s not busy being a hero.
He thinks he’s just trying to keep you safe, and being nearby as much as possible is the most efficient way to do that.
Often times, you’ll meet him in the grocery store or the mall at the same time he’s shopping there (and by “often,” I mean always)
Of course, he’ll have to bring his little sister along and the whole time, she’s just like “this is the fifth time we’ve been to the grocery store this week. If they don’t have what you’re looking for by now, they’ll never have it.”
Nah, but seriously, Zenko knows Badd loves you. If she sees you, she’ll try to tell you, but you only laugh it off. She’d be so confused, always saying that you’re stupid for not noticing it, and by that point, Badd’s gotta drag her away with some shitty excuse, like she’s got a dance recital or smth.
Anyways, back to it. Metal Bat will only discover he doesn’t want you around other people when he sees you talking to other guys. If I’m honest, the moment he realizes he’s a yandere is when he finally sees you and Garou together.
✨Story Time✨
Zenko wanted to go play at the park, and being the adoring brother he is, he takes her there.
As she runs off to go on the swings with her friends, Metal Bat settles onto a comfy park bench to look over her.
While he leans back and crosses one leg over the other, he catches a glimpse of another bench through a collection of trees and surprise surprise, guess who’s on it?
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees you, but you’re not alone. Wearing a beautiful sundress, you giggle and smile widely at an all-too familiar man.
That piece of shit Hero Hunter.
Badd’s blood boils and he begins seeing red.
Garou’s hands are too touchy-feely; the hero wouldn’t mind ripping them clean off the villain himself.
His fingers are practically up your skirt, caressing the skin of your thigh while you animatedly tell him a story about what must’ve been your most recent trip to a theme park.
Badd had gone with you to that theme park. He had been the one to bring you there at the insistence of his little sister.
Fuck, he could feel himself itching to kill. Zenko wouldn’t be able to see him through the trees, i.e. that bastard was free game.
Unsurprisingly, where Metal Bat is, his metal bat isn’t far behind.
You never expected this to happen.
One minute, Garou was chuckling at your story, arm thrown around your shoulder without a care in the world.
The next, an all-out brawl was happening before your very eyes.
You couldn’t hold back a scream; it was terrifying the way your two guy friends went after each other.
Badd swung his bat straight for Garou’s head, only to miss and catch his tufts of hair after the latter ducked.
Everything was happening too fast for you to comprehend, with both men moving faster than the speed of light.
Garou delivers a spine-chilling strike directly to Badd’s head that’s got his face slowly dripping blood. Immediately after, Garou takes a hit right to the stomach that has him coughing up the same color liquid.
By now, the grunts and yells are too loud for the entire park not to hear. Parents and children flee the area at the sight of a white-haired man flying through the trees only to crash into the metal jungle gym brutally.
“KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HER, YOU SCUMBAG!”
Garou’s back on his feet and blocking another swing with blue-tinted hands, taking all of Metal Bat’s force and redirecting it into the hero’s gut.
The battle leaves you cowering on the bench, watching with horrified eyes as they battle each other barbarically. Animalistic growls escape one while the other actually dodges and attacks on four legs.
“SHE’S MINE TO TOUCH, HERO!”
Their words don’t fluster you, and that’s mostly because you don’t hear them. Their sneers and snarls are much more distracting than anything that actually leaves their lips.
“Oh God.” The words are more a rushed sigh than anything. You whisper them in alarm as soon as you spot Zenko only a few feet away from the fight, crying much like how you want to right now. Suddenly, nothing else matters.
“Oh God, oh shit, oh God,” you push yourself off the bench and sprint toward the little girl, running straight through the park’s playground area and hurtling a slide on the way.
At the sight of your mad dash, both men pause in their jabs, Badd’s bat only inches away from Garou’s head while said man halts a kick halfway to his side.
Both gazes are locked on you, partly in fear that you were trying to run away from the two of them. “YN,” they simultaneously breathe out, dropping their stances and watching your every move.
“Zenko!” you call out, sliding down to your knees and gathering the sobbing girl into a hug. “Shh, it’s okay.”
Awestruck. That’s what they were. Neither could speak as they watched you mutter comforting words to the young girl and pat her back.
Without another sound, Badd jogs over to you both and kneels down into the grass as well.
“Oh Zenko, I’m so sorry.” At hearing her brother’s voice, the girl leaves your arms and falls into his, sniffling against his shoulder as she shivers.
You watch the scene with an unreadable expression, not even flinching at the feeling of a hand dropping to your shoulder. “YN-”
“Don’t.” Your hiss catches Badd’s attention too, peering up from the hug to watch you shake your head.
“I don’t want to see either of you ever again.”
Garou’s nostrils flare while Badd hugs his sister tighter, clenching his eyes closed at the words. It’s what they deserved.
“YN, that’s-”
“Just leave me alone.”
Months pass, four to be specific.
Metal Bat watches through your apartment window from the rooftop, bat slung over his shoulders as he watches you sleep on your living room couch.
“Did you get the house?” The voice’s owner had snuck up behind him, but Badd doesn’t flinch.
“Yeah. It’s back in City Z. The place is practically abandoned, so no one will find it.”
“Good.” Garou finally saddles up beside Metal Bat, eyes softening at the sight of you.
They can’t help but think back to a few weeks ago when you had finally agreed to meet up with them.
“You have to choose, YN.” Garou sneers at the hero next to him.
“No, I don’t.” Even folding your arms and gritting your teeth at them, you were beautiful. “You guys are- were my friends, but that was it.”
“That’s a goddamn lie,” Badd spits, stepping closer only to halt when you flinch away. He hated that look of disdain your eyes had adopted for him over the past month.
“Who do you want, YN?” Garou insists, just barely stopping himself from reaching for your hand.
A minute of painstaking silence feels more like a minute as you glare at both of them. “Okay,” you shrug at last, relief flooding their bodies when you speak up.
“I don’t want either of you. Now leave me alone like I asked.”
A compromise had been struck that night. You couldn’t choose between them, they couldn’t let you go, and both wanted to ensure you would never move on and find someone else.
“All right. It’s midnight. We only have a few hours to get everything she has before the sun comes up.”
“You brought the chloroform, right?”
“Psh, of course I did. I’m not an idiot.”
“Okay, then let’s do this.”
They both loved you, so, so much darling. Now, don’t fight them, and they’ll make you happy for the rest of your life.

Summary: Back home in America, YN was free to dye her hair whatever color she pleased. But now that she’s transferred to Japan as a foreign exchange student, she realizes that she’s much closer to her soulmate than she used to be... hence why her hair looks like an explosion of black and gray. What an asshole.
Author’s note: Haikyuu!! Bokuto x reader soulmate au. This one was also written at 3 am...and then deleted, so now I’m pissed. This is better than my first fanfic tho... I think, so enjoy!

When the new girl stepped into Karasuno, all eyes were on her. One, because she was new, duh. Two, because she was an American transfer student nobody expected to arrive. Three, because her hair looked like an explosion in an old-school, black-and-white film. As soon as people noticed this unavoidable characteristic, they pitied her.
“Her soulmate is such an asshole,” the students whispered amongst themselves. After all, who would want owl-like hair on the top of their head, aside from a sadistic jerk.
Here is a little known biology fact about soulmates in this world: females hold the recessive gene for hair. If two female soulmates got together, their hair colors would blend. If two males got together, their hair would be an equally-expressed mixture. Finally, when a female and a male soulmate are in close enough proximity to each other, as like all soul matches, the female’s initial hair color retreats to make room for the male’s hair color. That’s just simple human-soulmate genetics, existing in the world since the dawn of time.
Everyone knew the girl must not have been the cause for her hair color for one simple reason: she looked absolutely miserable. Her hands were white-knuckled around the straps of her school bag, and her shoes squeaked as she pathetically dragged her feet along the floor. She decided to keep her head down, and because of this, no one had noticed how she was fuming. With clenched teeth and burning, E/C eyes, the girl resisted the urge to throw a string of curses every glimpse she caught of her hair. Wait no, not of her hair, of her soulmate’s hair.
Unfurling the crumpled schedule in her hand, YN finally looked up to search for her classroom, resisting a sneer when her fellow pupils at last saw how pissed she truly was. Rushing into her homeroom, she met with the teacher, took her seat, and buried her striking head into her folded arms, hoping and praying to the heavens for the power of invisibility.
***
It was a known fact that when a soulmate pair was heterosexual, the female, try all she might, would never control the hair color of her other half. No dyes, no matter how strong, could erase the evidence of true-love proximity. Way early on, scientists had done the math and discovered that soulmate hair color would show when the two individuals were, at most, 250 miles away from each other.
With this idea, YN figured that her destined male companion must be in Japan, but she had no idea where. Back in the United States, she was free to dye her hair any color of her choosing, but had stuck with H/C on her flight to the Miyagi Prefecture. However, after getting off the plane and taking a much needed bathroom break, she had almost cried in despair when she saw her peppered strands. Now, she figured she could tell the future, as in that bathroom she had guessed the exact nickname the current bullies in Karasuno had just called her: Salt and Pepper.
At first, she had despised it, but after hearing it twenty times in a row during her lunch break, it began to grow on her. Much like her hair color. She realized that it wasn’t half-bad, and that the nicknames would simply be the worst thing to come from it. YN had passed all the stages of grief and had finally moved on to acceptance, as she realized it was out of her control. She would, however, explode on her soulmate once she finally met him. The amount of an ass-kicking he would receive would lead to him begging her to stop so he could go buy hair dye immediately.
YN was practically drooling at the idea of saving her reputation and getting to kick someone’s ass all in the same day, but she was shaken out of this dream by a jumpy ginger and his stoic, blue-eyed companion. She had been walking down the halls, planning to return to her class after lunch hour, only to be halted by their indiscreet whisper-conversation as they passed.
“Kageyama, doesn’t her hair remind you of Bokuto? That amazing ace from Fukurodani?”
The short redhead poked his companion in the side, only to receive a smack to the back of the head as the other calmly stated, “I guess so. We are pretty close to Tokyo now that I think about it.”
YN whirled around on her heels and caught up with the pair while exclaiming, “Hey, you guys know my soulmate? Where is he?”
The taller one, Kageyama she assumed, stayed impassive even as a small blush grew on his face before he stated, “We don’t know for sure, but it could be this guy we know from Fukurodani Academy.”
The shorter one added, “We’ve played him in volleyball, and he’s amazing! Their team is actually travelling down here tomorrow for a practice game! You should come.”
“Oh, I definitely will. Sounds fun.” YN’s eyes flared at the idea of meeting her soulmate, if only to tell him off, and the heat that exuded from her stare caused the two boys to shy away slightly. Hinata, she learned, told her the time and place of their volleyball match tomorrow, to which she thanked him with mischievous eyes before strutting away, mentally preparing for the inevitable beat-down the next day.
***
Volleyball, YN decided, is actually pretty entertaining to watch, but their practice is boring as hell. It looks so much more fun to play, YN thought to herself, biting her lip in excitement. Her nerves were aflame with anticipation, and she would finally get to meet her soulmate. The rousing idea of possibly encountering him for the first time almost distracted her of her main goal. Almost.
However, this fact didn’t matter. YN would never forget the first night of her arrival in Japan, standing in the bathroom of her host family and glaring at herself in the mirror. Well, not herself, but her hair. Every clump of black interspersed with light gray had increased her resentment of him. She didn’t want to hate him. This was revealed when she suddenly began tearing up while looking at herself.
YN wanted to believe he was just a fun guy who joked around and enjoyed others’ attention, but she knew differently. The world was cruel, and the odds were stacked against her, and from that night on, the young girl began to buy into the idea that others were selling her.
“My soulmate is such an asshole,” she had whispered to herself in the mirror before crumpling to a miserable ball on the floor.
YN was stuck in a foreign country with no friends and no family, surrounded only by strangers she rarely understood without thinking very hard, who accused her soulmate of being cruel and pitied her because of that supposed fact. Now, as she watched Karasuno’s boy’s volleyball team practice for today’s game, she couldn’t help her mind wandering back to what Hinata had told her.
“He’s amazing! And super nice too! He taught me this move where my arm prepares to go ‘Bam!’ but then it slows down to make the ball go ‘Fwoosh!’ I can’t wait for you to see…” The ginger’s voice faded away as YN recalled the memory of his rambling and complementing of her soulmate.
Maybe he won’t be so bad, YN thought to herself, but was startled out of her daze when the doors of Karasuno’s first gym burst open with a loud “Hey! Hey! Hey!”
A smile grew on her face at the sound of the amusing voice, and YN was surprised by her involuntary actions, but decided to let her grin stay when she saw who spoke. It was her soulmate, salt-and-peppered hair and all.

“Been a long time, Tsukki boy!” Bokuto shouted as he clapped his blond friend on the back.
Tsukishima scrambled to catch his glasses as they popped off his face, recovering them and haughtily pushing them back up his nose with a strong finger while declaring, “It’s only been like two weeks, and you need to quiet down, you’re giving me a headache already. I won’t make it through the game if you keep this up.” Halfway into Tsukishima’s rant, the blond had been instantly forgotten when Hinata raced over to Bokuto, jumping up and down in front of the third year while excitedly chatting with him.
“Hey, Bokuto, I’ve been working on the move you taught me! It works great, I can’t wait to kick your ass with it!” the carrot-top enthusiastically bragged.
The owl-haired ace chuckled boisterously in return, ruffling the ginger’s hair while playfully responding, “Alright little man, show me what you got.”
Rolling his eyes, Akaashi proceeded to drag Bokuto away from Karasuno’s first years, warning the older that he wouldn’t get any sets if he didn’t start practicing. The ace took the slight to heart and scrambled over to Fukurodani’s side of the net, grumbling under his breath about how mean his setter was.
As the game commenced, Fukurodani’s captain could not resist his eyes straying to the stands, feeling as though something was calling to him from there, begging him to take just one glance.
Directly above Karasuno’s “Fly” banner stood a girl. Not just any girl, but a girl with black and white hair. When Bokuto spotted her, his smile grew larger than the universe itself, and he waved at her frantically after she made eye contact. The girl’s face grew a few shades shy of a tomato, and she softly smiled, giving him a small wave back.
Returning his attention to the game, Bokuto knew not only would he not lose, but he would also scrub the floor with these guys, no matter how friendly he had been before. After all, his soulmate was watching, and he would do everything he could to keep her gorgeous gaze on himself.

“What the hell was that idiot thinking, waving at me in the middle of the game. He’s gonna get one right to the face, I just know it. What a cocky bastard,” YN rambled to herself, covering her warm cheeks with her cold hands. No matter what she did though, the burn stayed, and the smile that was hurting her cheeks was probably definitely part of the problem.
Her eyes never strayed from his form for a second during the first set, and the only word she could think of to define her soulmate was hella “Thick.” He was a good thick, hell, a great thick. The best thick in the whole, goddamned, world- okay what. What is wrong with me, she thought to herself, shaking her head as if to erase her previous musings. YN was taken out of her mental cleansing when she heard a whistle blow. The telltale end of the game’s first set. Immediately, the girl’s first instinct was to look for him, Bokuto, but she instead, for whatever reason, decided to duck out of the stands and go to the bathroom.
“What is wrong with me?” YN repeated to herself as she observed her red cheeks in the mirror. After all that time, the pink hues hadn’t slightened even the tiniest bit, but YN was more confused as to why she was okay with that fact. That she almost wanted her soulmate to see how shy he made her feel, how nervous she was around him.
Maybe it was because he seemed so nice, and to make up for how she had assumed he would be rude, she allowed him to see her blushing like a sprinter after a marathon. Maybe it was that, just maybe yes. Either way, YN knew she would have to leave the bathroom sometime, and she didn’t want to miss the rest of the game.

Fukurodani had won the first set; not by a landslide as Bokuto had hoped, but only by two points, finally earned after a long rally. But a victory was a victory, no matter how small, and when Bokuto stepped off the court with an over-eager fist pump and multiple high fives from his teammates, his eyes first traveled to the stands.
After scrutinizing every inch of the gym’s upper level, he still couldn’t find her. Maybe he had scared her off? Was the waving too much? No way, with the way she blushed but smiled and waved back anyways, Bokuto knew she was ready to stay in for the long run.
Sadly, no matter how much or how long the ace assured himself of his soulmate’s feelings, he felt doubt creep in the longer she was absent from the stands. What if she thinks she can run onto the court and greet me after hearing those whistles? That would be so cute, but she would probably be reprimanded for it though. But it would be worth it, right? God, I hope she does that…. The owl-haired captain continued to ramble to himself mentally as the rest of his team kept their heads in the game, discussing how to defeat Karasuno in the next set.
“Washio, I know their number ten is fast, so I need you to keep following him whenever you see him make a move. The others up front will… Bokuto? Are you listening?” Akaashi trailed off while watching his captain glare at the stands and mutter under his breath.
Hesitantly, the setter placed his hand on the third year’s shoulder, only to have Bokuto quickly swivel back around and irritably snap, “I’m fine, let’s just keep playing.” Shaking off Akaashi’s grip, the ace marched back onto the court, ready to land twenty-five service aces in a row, just to show his soulmate what she was totally missing! Behind Bokuto, the rest of his teammates sighed and rolled their eyes.
Sarukui watched Bokuto before saying, “Okay, I know it’s happened before, but isn’t it, like, a little too early for this? I don’t think it’s ever happened this quick.”
Akaashi shakes his head and flatly responds, “I don’t know, he seemed a little distracted even during the first set. And remember when he waved to that girl in the crowd? I don’t see her here anymore, so that might be part of it. Either way, let’s just play without him and hope he’s able to get back into his groove even if she doesn’t return.”
The rest of the team nods in agreement and jogs back toward the court, avoiding the tempermatic captain preparing to serve. Akaashi stays back and glances at his coaches, only to receive a questioning look as they gesture to Bokuto. The setter only responds with a shrug of his shoulders before hustling back onto the court. All we can do now is hope for the best, Akaashi thinks.

When YN returns to her place behind the banner with cooler cheeks, her eyes are immediately drawn to her soulmate. He seems to be getting ready to serve, but he won’t even look up at her. YN knows he must feel bad after she disappeared, and wonders how to make up for her actions without embarrassing herself, knowing she would need a little reassurance too if she was in his position.
The owl-haired ace is fuming on the court, and suddenly YN wonders how volatile her soulmate truly is. As Bokuto throws up the ball, preparing for a jump serve, YN flinches at how loud the sound of impact is, and watches as the ball flies over the net, crashing hard into the wall directly behind Karasuno. The two defenders in the home team’s back row do not even get a chance to watch the ball as it flies past them with horrendous speed, and their eyes go wide in...surprise? Or fear? Maybe both.
After the scene, Bokuto falls to his knees dramatically and releases a loud groan, shaking his head in his hands. “Damn it, I’m so stupid! What have I done?!”
YN glances nervously at the slight dent in the wood paneling of the wall and wonders if he’ll have to pay for damage. “Crap,” she whispers to herself, knowing what she has to do.
***
Akaashi has been there for many of Bokuto’s mood swings, and he’s seen it all.
Well, apparently not until now. From his own red handprints left on his cheeks to stomping around like a five-year-old, Akaashi knows about Bokuto’s temper like bees know about honey. It’s obvious, he’s been around it a lot, and he knows what to expect… or, at least he used to know.
Now, it’s like undiscovered territory, and Akaashi is wary of stepping on any landmine that might just cause his friend to explode.
With an outstretched hand, Akaashi wonders whether he should approach Bokuto or not, but before he can decide, the doors to the gym burst open.
Kageyama and Hinata observe silently as YN rushes past them, ducking under the volleyball net and beelining it towards Bokuto, her black and white hair flowing in the air from her speed. Nobody makes a noise to protest or warn her as she approaches him, slowing down in close enough proximity for him to feel her presence. Ever so dejectedly, the ace of Fukurodani raises his head to look at her, before blasting up to his feet and embracing her in a tight hug.
“I’m so sorry for scaring you away. Please don’t reject me, I don’t think I could handle it.” Bokuto’s voice wavers slightly as he clings to her even harder, his head tucked into her shoulder. YN wonders if he’ll start crying, but shakes off the thought and slowly twists out of his grip. At first, he hugs her even tighter, then he slowly, begrudgingly listens and peels away from her body. Bokuto tries to step away dejectedly, only for YN to grasp his hand and lead him out of the gym, ignoring the many pairs of eyes watching.
Before shutting the door, YN looks at both teams and politely smiles. “Continue.”
Watching the pair of soulmates disappear behind the exit, Akaashi closes his dropped jaw and shares an incredulous look with the people around him, shaking his head before shrugging his shoulders once more.
“May as well.”
***
Bokuto’s eyes glow as YN watches the door close before embracing him in a warm bear hug.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry I screwed up your game, and I distracted you and I just left before saying anything. But to be honest, I was just, I don’t know, kind of scared.” Her voice is muffled in his shoulder, and she keeps hugging him tighter and tighter until he feels like he can’t breath, and he doesn’t mind.
Actually, as a matter of fact, he’s reveling in it. This feeling, the feeling of someone absolutely needing him to know that they care for him, and that they were sorry for his game going awry, it makes him giddy.
Bokuto has decided he also likes breathing though, and pats her back in an effort to get her to unclench. Just a little, because when she starts to pull back too much, he roughly tugs her back in, and the breath of fresh air her lungs had just received is too-quickly released back to the atmosphere.
“It’s okay,” he grins against her, “I’m just glad you came back. I wanted- needed you to come back. I wanted to meet you properly before I left you.” With that statement, she pulls away and narrows her eyes at him.
“Umm, where are you planning on going?” she asks, flustered at the thought of him leaving so soon.
“Well, you know, I kind of live in Tokyo. And you’re a foreign exchange student, right? I just needed this one chance for us to, you know, meet.” YN had totally forgotten that she wasn’t from here, and that he was only visiting Karasuno for a practice match. After today, who knows how long it would be before she got to see him again. Quickly, she grasps the front of his jersey as she demands, “I need your phone number.”
“Wow, ‘need’ huh? I’m not used to girls being so forward.”
“Oh, shut up and gimme it.” YN whips out her phone and passes it to him, open and ready for a new contact.
Bokuto’s heart warms, and while typing in his information, he becomes all excited and jumpy at how desperate his soulmate seems to need contact with him. He decides he likes to feel needed, and he also decides he doesn’t like how far away his soulmate is at the moment.
Stepping directly to her, Bokuto whips out YN’s camera and grasps her on the shoulder, tugging her close and kissing her on the side of the cheek as she blushes rose-red for the picture. Snapping it quickly, Fukurodani’s captain sets it as his contact picture and sends it to his phone as well.
Eagerly, he shows her the picture he had taken and watches as she begins to shy away from him. Catching on quick, Bokuto hurriedly wraps his arm around her shoulder and tucks the side of his head into her hair.
With both of them still staring at the photo, Bokuto moves his mouth towards her ear and cheekily whispers, “We look amazing together. We must be destined for each other or something.”
He moves away with a bright, slightly smug smile as YN softly nods. “Yeah, something like that.” Bokuto moves to stand directly in front of her and observes her bashful appearance, trailing a hand up to twirl a strand of black-and-whiteness between his fingertips.
“Your hair looks great like this, by the way.”
The mood in the hall darkens abruptly at his words. YN’s pleasant smile falls from her lips, and she instantly remembers that he is her soulmate. He is the one who ruined her hair from the moment she landed in Japan.
Oh man, did she get pissed. Turns out Bokuto isn’t the only one whose attitude can change in an instant. Maybe it has something to do with the hair?
***
Inside the gym, as the teams decided to keep playing, the game was going well. Karasuno’s newly developed skills were working, and Fukurodani was learning how to adjust to games without Bokuto. Just as the second set was about to end, however, the teams heard something... slightly unsettling.
“Bokuto, you son of a b***h, what the f**k is wrong with you?! You a**hole, who the hell dyes their hair this color?! You dumba** motherf*****, I’m gonna kill you!”
Suddenly, Bokuto bursts into the gym and runs around like a headless chicken, releasing an ear-piercing screech.
“Akaashi help, my soulmate’s trying to kill me!”
The setter wasn’t surprised; he would react the same way if he had that hair and couldn’t change it. And as YN charged into the gym, storming after her fated lover, something told her she wasn’t as much of a fan of her hair as she originally thought.
