Fun fact: There's an Italian restaurant in Malaysia called Gao Gao Italian Restaurant. They have nice pizza
The Shen Jiu & Shen Yuan dynamic I need to see more of is Shen Jiu coming to see Shen Yuan as a father figure, perhaps even a mother figure. And not in the way you think.
We are always talking about Shen Yuan's wife beam, but we don't talk about his mommy beam. I think Shen Jiu could resist the wife beam if subjected to it, but I don't believe he has any defense for the mommy beam. Now, I'm not talking about Shen Yuan transmigrating earlier than canon, meeting a child Shen Jiu and adopting him.
I'm talking about Shen Yuan transmigrating after Shen Jiu has already taken over Qing Jin peak. I'm talking about 21 year old Shen Yuan transmigrating into the body of a nameless rogue cultivator, meeting fully grown man already in his thirties Peak Lord Shen Qingqiu, and hitting him with his mommy/daddy-issuesinator and causing him a life threatening Qi deviation.
Shen Qingqiu can't help but trust him, and eventually looks up to him, sees him as a wise elder he seeks out for advice. He fucking hates it but he can't help himself. This homeless man he met in the forest is the closest thing he's ever had to a father. Also. He sort of wants Shen Yuan to breastfeed him in a, and he means this, non sexual way and he can't cope with that. He would just feel so safe!!
Shen Yuan, 21 years old, rogue cultivator, first time transmigrator and the father who stepped up, thinks he befriended the scum villain, and maybe? He can be a good influence on him? Be a good friend and guide him towards a fully limbed future. He's practically raising him but nobody tell him that.
Shen Jiu lost his childhood to slavery and his teenage years to violent madmen. and now he's behaving in ways he doesn't understand. He once lost sight of Shen Yuan in the town's market, ran towards a man who looked exactly like Shen Yuan from behind, and almost had a panic attack when the man turned out to be a stranger. It's all good because Shen Yuan found him before he started swinging Xiu Ya ("Have you seen my friend? He's this tall, clearly traumatized, but we haven't had the talk")
People think they're lovers at some point because Shen Jiu is quite possessive of Shen Yuan's attention, but everybody realizes that there's something way more innocent, and also weirder, and worse, going on between them when Shen Yuan drags Shen Qingqiu by the hand to apologize to the sect leader for being so rude when poor A-Yue is trying his best, and stands there with arms crossed, eyebrows raised, until Shen Qingqiu mumbles an apology, glances at Shen Yuan, and runs away.
"I'm sorry about that, Sect Leader Yue, he's had a bad day. I'm sure he didn't mean it."
Yue Qingyuan, someone who did actually sort of raise Shen Qingqiu, who's stood in Shen Yuan's shoes before, extracting reluctant apologies from an indignated Shen Jiu, to authority figures so he wouldn't get in trouble, is overcome by an intense, never before experienced wave of jealousy, so sudden it makes him spit vinegar flavored blood.
Then, a panicked Shen Yuan accidentally hits him with the mommy beam by accidentally adopting him (trying to befriend this guy who clearly needs a friend he can confide in!). And now he's placed himself in the young step-mom role who's desperately trying to bond with her new husband's teenage children but they're wired to not like her! (He used those exact words when explaining to Shang Qinghua where that new tension he has with the Sect Leader came from)
Liu Qingge is afraid of him. Maybe. He runs away when their eyes meet but he keeps leaving dead things at his feet so like, he's probably threatening him? He feels intimidated by him? Or something?
(Liu Qingge thinks Shen Qingqiu's older brother is so cool and really wants to hang out with him, but if Shen Yuan calls him Didi one more time Liu Qingge's barely held back "Yes, Gege?" Is going to jump out of his mouth and he WILL Qi deviate and EXPLODE)
When Binghe enters the equation shit gets a lot weirder.
First, he believes Shen Yuan to be Shen Qingqiu's neglected spouse (Shizun keeps leaving his poor wife alone when he goes out on night hunts and to visit brothels! Shen Yuan has needs!! He should be with someone who cherished him!! Someone who would treat him as he deserves to be treated, someone who'd wait hand and foot on him!!!) needless to say, Luo Binghe's teenage fantasies take on an even more illicit turn than in canon (it goes from "STERN TEACHER POUNDED BY STUDENT AT BAIZHAN TRAINING GROUNDS" to "NEGLECTED WIFE CHEATS WITH STUDENT ON HUSBAND'S BED!! IMPREGNATED WHILE HUSBAND IS AWAY")
Luo Binghe, of course, does his best to seduce him, but ends up being coddled and cuddled.
"it's like I'm his handmaiden, his shadow, the only witness to my lady's heartbreak at her husband's cold regard and indiscretions. Shizun won't spare him a moment if not to discuss cultivation or business! He won't allow Shen Yuan more than a head pat! and move away from any other touch! How ungrateful! They don't even share a bed! I brush his hair, I dress him every morning, I pour him tea and he lets me rest my weary head on his lap. The intimacy we share is not sexual, but Ning-Shijie, I wish it was! I saw the outline of his dick yesterday and I need it!"
"A-Luo please stop talking."
Then, he realizes he misunderstood. Shen Yuan is a cultivator so of course he looks so young! Shen Yuan is clearly Shen Qingqiu's father. He's constantly worried for his un-filial son and remains by his side!! That explains everything!!!(LONELY DILF RIDES YOUNG MAN ON QING JING'S LIBRARY!! HE WISHES YOUNG MAN WAS HIS SON!!!!)
He goes from trying to steal Shen Qingqiu's wife to steal his father. He could be Shen Yuan's friend, lover, and son. His student. His confidant. His silly rabbit.
Shen Qingqiu KNOWS this. But nobody will fucking believe him!! The jiejies at the pavilion giggle and tell him he must be exaggerating, and when he went to Yue Qingyuan so he could intervene and fix it, Yue Qi just looked at him dead eyed and said to "Let him." !!! Let him what?? Deflower our father Qi-Ge??? Shame on you!! That beast is trying to break this family apart!!
But wait!!! look!!! a crack opened in the fabric of space and reality, leading directly to hell. Wouldn't it be a shame if someone were to, accidentally, drop kick this homewrecker inside it?
Luo Binghe is gone when Shen Qingqiu realizes oh wait, that was a demon mark on his forehead wasn't it. Oh good, now he has an excuse. Baba will understand.
(Baba doesn't understand. Baba acts as if he's lost his soul and won't look him in the eye. He's also growing mushrooms bodies in the garden, and added a drop of Shen Qingqiu's blood in the seeds before planting? Which is odd. but at least if he's gardening then he's not staring at that swordmound for hours on end)
I don't even know where I'm going with this
From 3DBearnadette on tweeter...
does anyone wanna hold hands until we feel a little braver
Hello everybody, my name's Matheus, or just Matt for short.
In The Abyssal, you assume the control of a powerful deity that was betrayed by their fellow gods. Imprisoned against your will for all eternity, you had a long time to plan your revenge.
After you regain your freedom, travel across Hylaria and recruit acolytes to help you in your quest for retribution. Influence their future as you learn about their past. Cultivate the kind of relationship you want to have with your followers: make them fear you, or be a kind leader and inspire respect.
Oh, and did I mention you are Death itself?

DEMO / FORUM / PATREON / KO-FI
You can play as a god, goddess, or deity. Choose your sexuality, appearance, personality, an immortal creature for a pet, and a powerful weapon to wield. Be a merciless monster or a benevolent being. Feared or revered? Your actions decide how mortals and gods perceive you.
This game is heavily focused on relationships, so expect a lot of romance, but romance is not required to progress through the story if that's not your thing. Speaking of which, I have 7 romanceable characters planned as of now, with 1 being gender-locked to male and the gender of the other 6 changing based on your choices.
Aza’deh Asayesh “The Desert Jewel”
(Male or Female)
The Mahdi of the Ahara Desert first dwellers, the Emir, and former high priest/priestess of the followers of Tai’jik, the god of deserts and safe passage. Through great sacrifice and worship, they were able to acquire Tai’jik’s blessing, that in turn is used to protect their people from their enemies. Aza’deh puts the safety of their people above all else, even going to great lengths to keep them away from harm, including allying themselves with a being hated and feared by all.
They have a rich dark-skinned complexion, darkened by the unforgiving sun of the desert, and light emerald green eyes that appears to shine under the sunlight. They stand at 6’ tall with a surprisingly muscular physique for someone who is seen doubling over books all day.
Aza’deh’s hair is dark brown with a few peppered caramel strands and slightly wavy. Male Aza’deh likes to keep it short on the sides but longer on top, and brushed back with the longer strands gathered in a tiny ponytail. Female Aza’deh keeps her hair long, reaching beyond her shoulder blades with a golden headpiece styled with gold coins and encrusted with tiny emeralds.
They are sure to attract everyone’s attention.
Wulfric “The Beast”
(Male)
One of the Wildmen, considered by many as a bunch of uncivilized and savage people. Some say they are not even humans but beasts who take the form of monsters when angered. Worshipers of the great goddess of fertility, Vaal, and the deity of love, Amorr, the Wildmen are protected by both, and whatever the truth may be, people tend to stay clear of the rainforests up north. It’s up to Death to learn for themselves if the myths are true or just stories told by crazy old hags.
Wulfric, as a Wildmen, can take the shape of a large black wolf. While in human form, he maintains all the features expected of a human except for longer and sharper than average canines. He is 7’5’’ tall and has honey-colored skin along with a powerful and intimidating physique. He usually keeps his dark-brown, wavy hair set in a single braid that reaches way past his shoulder blades; several tiny fairy skulls and sharp, curved fangs are secured around the tip. His eyes are light brown with specks of honey.
His appearance is certainly intimidating.
Éoin "The Mortician"
(Male or Female)
The faithful follower. Maybe the last human in all Hylaria to worship the Abyssal, in secret, of course. Éoin still follows in their family's footsteps by taking care of the Yskari Mortuary. With a shy and reclusive personality, they prefer the silent company of the dead over the noisy living. With deft hands and endless devotion, they make the intricate practice of embalming a form of macabre art.
Long weeks tugged away underground have given them an extremely pale complexion; their skin is covered in rusty freckles that get more accentuated the longer they stay in the sun. Their eyes shine like pebbles washed by the ocean waves but may appear darker depending on their mood. They stand at only 5'2'', and while male Éoin displays a crown of fluffy curly bright red hair that barely reaches his ears, female Éoin maintains her fiery locks long and wild.
They will believe in you when no one else will.
Kazael Crane "The Necromonger"
(Male or Female)
Kazael became an orphan early in their life and, through a series of misfortunes, spent most of their childhood wandering the streets of Luanya. After a rather traumatic event, they became aware of their true heritage and that death carries great power. As they delved deeper into this new, somber world, not becoming numb to the deaths happening around them seemed impossible.
Kaz's most striking feature is certainly their deathly pale skin, not a rarity in a city where the sun never makes an appearance, but even then no mortal skin can be so devoid of life—for this reason they resemble more a walking corpse than a living being. They have slick, bluish-black hair, like iridescent crow feathers, kept fairly short on the sides and very long on top. Their eyes also seem devoid of color, the shade of monochrome memories, silver-blade.
Is their heart truly as lifeless as their appearance?
Sol "The Sun God / Goddess"
(Male or female)
God/Goddess of the sun, light, music and civilization. Sol embodies the life essence itself, being the second deity to acquire physical form after the Great Sacrifice. A calm, wise and passionate divine, but also wrathful towards the evil and cruel. Is up to the MC to decide what kind of relationship they had with Sol in the past; lovers, friends or nemesis, the choice is yours. With glowing sun kissed skin, a muscular powerful towering body, and eyes of liquid gold, they represent the epitome of perfection.
With Sol everything is possible.
Leon/Leona "The Golden Prince/Princess"
(Male or Female)
The beloved prince or princess of Solarys, the greatest city of Hylaria. As their father's oldest child, they grew up being showered in the most expensive gifts gold could buy, until their brother came along. The tales of their heroics, kindness, and generosity are forever etched into the hearts of the people that they care so much about. But as their father's health deteriorates with each passing hour, they must adapt, against their will, to the role of King/Queen.
Leon/Leona is the mirror image of their mother, with blond hair that brings memories of golden wheat fields, of many hued stems that dance in the autumn light, and light blue eyes that sparkle with boisterous mirth.
Their bravery and valor are enough to inspire Death themselves.
Amorr "The Deity of Love"
(Gender-fluid)
Amorr is the Furyan deity who embodies love, beauty and carnal pleasure. Their presence alone evokes compassion in the hearts of mortals and gods alike, although that wasn't enough to spare you of a terrible fate.
As probably the only furyan deity who completely regrets their role in your imprisonment, Amorr will jump at the opportunity of atonement for their past sins. Is up to you to decide their fate.
Amorr is known to change physical appearance on a whim, but they like to remain faithful to certain traits. Their hair is a lovely shade of light pink, usually reaching past their delicate shoulders in soft waves. Out of all the Ten, Amorr is the shortest in height, reaching only 7'3'' when in their divine form and 5'2'' when in human form. They have porcelain skin with a healthy pink undertone and lightly freckled cheeks always tinted with a rosy flush. As a divine their eyes reflect their essence, taking the color and glint of a rose-quartz under the sunlight.
Like a beautiful rose, they hide a thorny side.
I have a lot of thoughts about the Vinsmoke brothers, specifically about what could happen if their modifications? mutations? malfunctioned at some point and they ended up somewhat powerless and able to feel emotions (like how Sanji is). They would not take it well and I want to see them suffer lol
I have a whole theory about how exactly the modifications work/what it would take to get those three to experience some proper Feelings, and yeah, "they would not take it well" is an understatement. >.>
. . .
Ichiji
For a while, he's just plain in denial. Ichiji isn't sure what the strange thoughts and sensations in his body are caused by, but "emotions" simply isn't a possible answer. He's better than that. (And failure isn't allowed, to begin with.) Unfortunately for him, no amount of trying to talk himself out of it does any good. The new, unfamiliar anxiety leaves him restless and tense, so he overworks himself past the point of even his enhanced body's limits in an attempt to shut out the thoughts. Now that Ichiji actually has to fear falling short of "perfect", he ends up surprisingly self-conscious and on edge.
Niji
He's utterly unequipped to process the newfound emotions, and it shows. Badly. Everything feels agonizingly intense with no baseline for comparison, so Niji is left careening between erratic extremes of volatility and distress. He tries to hide it (Sanji was deemed a failure when he acted like this, they all remember that), but his clumsy, panicked attempts at suppressing the feelings only end up making them worse. The sudden awareness of his physical pain doesn't help matters, either— overall, Niji's bound for a breakdown within a matter of days, and it's going to be messy.
Yonji
Though he starts out more confused (and vaguely unsettled) than anything, Yonji also quickly spirals into the fear that what he's experiencing makes him a "failure" too. His attempts at containing the emotions are less violent than Niji's— instead, Yonji starts almost shutting down, turning quieter and less boisterous in an attempt to avoid unwanted scrutiny, while finding every excuse to dodge interactions with anyone who might notice that something is wrong. He's acutely aware that his brothers are acting strangely as well, and getting all the more apprehensive because of it.
You’ve ruled the Duchy of Akize, the southwesternmost duchy in the Kingdom of Ribaur, for 15 years, since the year 1107 ME.Â
15 years ago, your Liege had your parents executed for a plot they had no part in.
Despite becoming a ruler while only a teenager, your lands have done well - no thanks to your Liege’s proclamations. Despite the annoying interference, you would have been content to just administer your lands and pay your taxes.
But one day, your Liege goes too far, and wrongs one of your siblings - personally.
You’ve had enough. You and your siblings will chafe no longer under the yoke of that tyrant. You will be free from oppression - whatever it takes.
Choose your character's name, the name of their noble house, and whether they are a Duke (male), Duchess (female), or Dux (enby).
Choose which foreign land your mother hailed from - such as the northern court of Ostroway or the island nation of Sayland.
Pick the type of education you received - were you taught how to use the shadows of Intrigue? How to construct Martial strategies? Or something else?
Interact with your friends and family, possibly including your foreign cousins.
Choose how to deal with your Liege - will they be put on Trial, will you lead an armed Rebellion, or will you take to the shadows to have them Assassinated?
Pick from four gender-selectable ROs - two fellow vassals and two foreign nobles.
Deal with various interest groups - such as the Peasants you rule over, your fellow Vassals, the religious head known as the Hierophant, and more.
Ordinor Ultor takes palce in a low(ish...) fantasy world, with the protagonist's home country of Ribaur being inspired by medieval France.
I'm relatively new to coding, so I can't promise a concrete update schedule yet (also, if anyone has any advice and/or resources for me to use, I'd be very grateful!). That being said... DEMO BY APRIL 29TH 2024
I hope everyone enjoys!
Hey everyone, I know it's going to be a busy day for a lot of people, but Google enrolled everyone over 18 into their AI program automatically.
If you have a google account, first go to gemini.google.com/extensions and turn everything off.
Then you need to go to myactivity.google.com/product/gemini and turn off all Gemini activity tracking. You do have to do them in that order to make sure it works.
Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last, but this should keep Gemini off your projects for a bit.
I saw this over on bluesky and figured it would be good to spread on here. It only takes a few minutes to do.
Inspired by this idea of Vinsmoke siblings gaining emotions, here is my first take on fanfic idea: (I'm not good at writing so just throwing it out there...)
After WCI, Reiju and Ichiji rescued Niji and Yonji from Big Mom's territory, and they were quite injured on the way out. They all needed blood transfusion, especially Niji and Yonji whose blood was left at the bare minimum amount for keeping them alive (but not awake). However, the blood supplies in Germa's lab was not compatible with them, even that it was their original blood. Neither Reiju nor Ichiji's blood could help solve the situation as their own blood were modified to their own abilities. Turned out that during the fights at WCI, Sanji's blood somehow got into their veins, mixed up with their own blood and miraculously created a new kind for each of them, which Germa's lab had no control over. Judge was, of course, furious as the 'failure' messed up his 'perfect solders'. He decided to toss them and created a new batch so that they were not affected by any blood-related issues. (Judge may or may not tell the scientists to end them or let them be without any blood transfusion, and in the event that he did, Ichiji and Reiju had to fight to escape and took their brothers with them.)
Even though she was not fond of the three brothers, growing up with them did have some bonds to Reiju. After all, they were influenced by Sanji's blood, and she experienced that from the very early stage when she took care of him. So when Ichiji asked Reiju to sail with him and the two unconscious brothers on a stolen snail ship to follow the Straw Hat's ship, after knowing that they were tossed aside, she agreed.
Their snail ship caught up to the Straw Hat on Wano's land, after Wano's fights finished. Reiji spoke to Sanji about the situation while the rest of the Straw Hat stayed alerted, notably Zoro whose hand was on his swords the entire of the conversation. He did not like the presence of the cook's siblings, especially the death path that the cook asked for if he ever lost his mind by the genetics awaken. Yet Sanji, being the kindest man of himself, agreed to donate some of his blood. And Chopper, being the genius doctor of the ship, found out the compatible blood kind for each of them (meaning Reiju, Ichiji, Niji and Yonji) and utilized the facility on the snail ship to multiply the blood supplies. (And Robin being the protective mom, accompany Chopper to the ship.)
And with Sanji's blood in their system, they started to encounter things that were not registered in their systems before.
Physical pain. The pain of injuries, bruise, burns coming from the organs, from the flesh as a result of constant practices and fights.
Invisible pain. It came as the sorrow of their mother's passing that they could not express at that moment, the guilt of bullying their own brother for being different, the remorse for all the horrible things they had done that would haunt them till the end of life.
Some weird 'feelings' that could be described as 'an interesting annoyance' that centered around Zoro and Sanji.
Zoro, despite his hateful behavior towards Sanji's siblings, respected the cook's decision. After all, it was Sanji's call, not him. Instead, he presented around Sanji most of the time: in the ship's kitchen when he cooked something for the siblings (because in Sanji's mind they all needed food and Sanji fed others); he followed Sanji when he brought the food for the siblings: he may or may not guard the kitchen when Ichiji attempted to talk with Sanji... To the point that Sanji assured him that he would not run away again. Regardless, Zoro definitely threatened 124ji with Enma the moment they recovered without Sanji presence. To which Reiju actually encouraged Zoro to ask Sanji out, as she saw through his actions, while the three brothers pretentiously protested and ticked him off in the similar way that Sanji usually did. No doubt they were his siblings. (I like the original idea in the post that the 'highlight' of their awaken emotions was to see Zoro's flirting through the usual bickering with oblivious Sanji.)
The siblings were now granted a new life. Once again, they owned Sanji their lives. Sanji just dismissed that and told them to take a good advantage of this second chance to live with freedom. Sanji may or may not tell them to stay away from Germa as the kingdom would fail eventually, or if they wanted to take over, form an ally with the Revolution Army and rebuild the reputation then.
Side note: I also like the idea of the cooking competition at Wano (with the prize of all the rarest spices and ingredients to the wining party, of course, Sanji wanted it) having both the siblings and Straw Hats supporting Sanji. Like, Niji and Zoro was fighting over who would offer their sword to Sanji to handle a delicate fish or a tough cut of meat. Or Yonji and Luffy fought over who helped finished more dishes that contributed to the dominant result at the end. Ichiji, deep inside, was a little bitter on not contributing to the help while putting on the pretend modest elder brother face (he may or may not ask Sanji if he needed help igniting the wood oven/grill or roast the meat, to which Sanji refused at the risk of Ichiji may blow up the kitchen). Reiju, Nami, and Robin had a blast witnessing some comedic moments of their lives. To Nami and Robin, it was on a daily basis, but to Reiju, it was the first time. Their first time, freely enjoyed 'feelings' to their heart content.
The reason the establishment is so terrified of Aaron Bushnell's protest, is because they understand a point many of you seem to have missed
Aaron wasn't sending a message to the government (we know they don't care)
No, I think Aaron's message was meant for other service people like him. Because if the military refuses to participate in the genocide, it's over
And if you thought YOU were moved by Aaron's actions...
imagine how Aaron's unit is feeling right now
Mutinies have started for less
The exact moment every protest turns into a revolution, is when the army refuses to defend the establishment any longer.
And THAT was the message Aaron was sending out. How many units now are ready to reject orders? How low does their morale have to sink before they say 'enough!' How long until they stop pointing guns at the protestors outside, and run over and join them instead?
This is dangerous territory for a government that is hellbent on ignoring every crisis it creates
(Inspired by Eldena Doubleca5t's series on YouTube)
