This Is Possibly The Most Wrong Thing I Have Seen On A Click Bait Article Ever. The More You Look, The

This is possibly the most wrong thing I have seen on a click bait article ever. The more you look, the worse it gets.

It claims to be an X-ray of a pregnant horse.

There are several faults with that assumption:

It is an old school film X-ray, about the size of an A4. It is no way big enough to X-ray an entire horse.

An X-ray machine big enough to X-ray an entire horse does not exist, and would pump out obscene amounts of radiation if it did.

That ‘horse’ is lying down. Good luck with that.

Something very creative is happening with its front legs, feet, hocks and skeleton in general.

It has no internal organs.

The thing it is ‘pregnant’ with is mostly situated within the thorax.

The thing it is ‘pregnant’ with appears to be a dog.

The ‘dog’ appears to be ‘pregnant’ with a cat.

The ‘cat’ appears to be ‘pregnant’ with… possibly a rat?

Can you imagine just how loud Cybertron is.

The amount of noise pollution on the planet from the amount of engines, ground mode and aerial mode adding to the chaotic noise of the city-states. The fact that hearing planes take flight outside of my room would be a constant as there are seekers and other aerial frames flying about in the sky. Silence is practically impossible unless it’s by some type of noise cancelling device which itself is artificial to help those who don’t want to deal with all the noise or how they would be used to the sounds.

And then how JARRING it is when they land on Earth and it’s SO quiet. Cities such as New York and Chicago don’t compare to the noise on Cybertron and it is so weird to get used to for Transformers. There’s places where there’s no sound, where the sound of cars going down the freeway and the electric hum is practically nonexistent in the mountains where there’s no civilisation. And then going back to Cybertron and realising just how LOUD it all is. Man. MAN.

Star Trek has seen captains who are scientists, diplomats, warriors, artists, inspirations, explorers, and heroes. But never has Star Trek seen a captain who is just done with everything and wishes he could go back to bed.

Finally, a character I can relate to.

Ah, I see. Thank you for your honesty. Please, take as much as you need. There will be enough for everyone.

A change of scenery. Simple, but marvelous.

A glimpse into your future, for you brave souls! (Divination is tricky business, tread carefully my dear!)

Knowledge from the universe, eh? Perhaps this will be of interest to you.

Rest for the weary, right this way. It's a personal favourite of mine.

A home-cooked meal you say? I like how you think! A labour of love worth savoring (and sharing with friends!)

For something to pass the time, try looking here, or if that doesn't hit the spot, here.

Seeking adventure to a far-off place? I know a way to get you there.

I hope you found what you were looking for!

Everything We Know About Star Trek: Prodigy Season 2
ScreenRant
Admiral Janeway and the Protostar kids will be back.

So Star Trek Prodigy is an absolutely excellent show full of heart, wonderful storytelling, endearing characters, beauitful art and music, and a great balance of episodic and overarching storytelling that many of us have wanted Star Trek to find! Also there are some fun throwbacks that feel mostly purposeful and thought out and not too gratuitous! Lovely season 1, highy recommend to any Trek fan and hoping there will be a season 2!

Cybertronian Units of Time: a Guide

…concocted by me, via:

Canon Definitions

Most Common Terms Used in Fandom (that I have seen)

Most Common Interpretations of Aforementioned Terms

Math That Makes Those Terms Make Sense Together

Filling in the Blanks With What Sounded Good (to me)

So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.

Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better.

At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately… awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.

So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.

So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(PLEASE REBLOG THIS IF YOU LIKE IT SO THAT MORE FANS CAN SEE IT!)

Yup, all the weather is shifted - rainy season, first snows, etc. Even some of the wildlife has disappeared in my lifetime (fireflies, some songbirds)!

Something deeply painful is the fact that seasons, especially fall, dont feel the same. Not because of individual maturity but because climate change has impacted the weather patterns so so so much that we cant even experience the same annual shifts that our ancestors have for centuries

I feel displaced, i yearn for the spring, summer, fall, and winter that i can barely remember experiencing

Hey, PSA:

On your phone, go to Settings> Security and Privacy> Privacy> Other Privacy Settings> Ads> Delete Advertising ID

Then go back to Other Privacy Settings> Google location history> Turn off Location History &/or Turn-on Auto-Delete (you can set a time period of how long to keep it)

Then, staying on Other Privacy Settings, go to '+ See all activity controls'> Web & App activity> Turn off (you can also turn-on Auto-Delete for here too)

Then Scroll down to Personalized ads> My Ad Center> Turn Off Personalized Ads.

Google has no business knowing/storing everything you do online, and knowing/storing where you go everyday. Turn it off.

These instructions are for an Android phone, IOS might be different. If you have IOS or another operating system feel free to add on with your own map to where they've buried these settings in your phone to help others.

I love the attention to detail in this show! It always irks me when shows just use random physics equations for science-y scenes so this was a real delight when watching the episode

Here are all the equations that Rok-Tahk sees in front of her eyes in the #StarTrekProdigy episode "Asylum". I've tried to do some research on this (it all makes sense) but I cannot put what these depict into proper words. I'm sure, somebody else can and will enjoy this! :-) pic.twitter.com/yxvNRv0TzN

Formulae to calculate
1) kinetic energy, impulse, gravitational force, gravitational constant

2) Kepler's 3rd Law (orbital periods), orbital velocity, inelastic collisions, ellipses

3) escape velocity, acceleration, value of Gravitational constant, projectile motion

— Tanja Eder (@tanja__eder) October 28, 2022
4) a collision trajectory of two objects with velocity v and mass m in an angle of Θ

— Tanja Eder (@tanja__eder) October 28, 2022

All of the equations that appear around Rok as she tries to figure out how to get to the Protostar are real equations and formulas needed to make the correct calculations.
