I have so much to say about this book I don't even know where to begin.

This is true for my 5-year-old, we have this conversation nightly and she has to be reassured that we won't be around when the moon recedes from the earth in 100,000 years and when the sun burns out 😅 Though her science book said it's more like 4 billion years...

WoK Chapter 15 Thoughts

Currently on chapter 15 of Way of Kings, some thoughts so far:

-Dalinar should have been king, not Elhokar

-I like Shallan, really was not expecting her true motivation/quest though

-I love Wit (Hoid) 😍 Especially when he makes fun of that jerk Sadeas 😁

-Kaladin....🥺

Oathbringer, again

As eager as I am to read the next book in the Stormlight Archive series, I also find myself wanting to just sit with Oathbringer for a little while.

There was a lot of awesomeness in this one book and I'm still processing it.

I love Elantris so much. The rest of the Cosmere gives us complex backstories and traumas seasoned with snark and philosophy and epic magic systems. Elantris is just two separated soulmates who decided to punch fate in the face because they felt like it. Simple, but delicious.

Way of Kings: the progression of my feelings toward Sadeas

Beginning of WoK: I really don't like Sadeas, I think he's a jerk

Middle of WoK: hmm... maybe, just maybe, Sadeas isn't as bad as I thought...
