Hello there! My boyfriend, Christian, is finally getting top surgery this November, after years of struggling to find doctors, money, hospitals and heartache. His recovery time is between 6 - 8 weeks, which he will not be able to work. With living paycheck to paycheck and calculating the costs after insurance coverage, we’ve estimated he will need about $1,500 to cover everything - possibly more. He will have to pay everything out of pocket (bills, rent, debt, etc.) so everything donated will go straight into a savings account exclusively for this purpose. I, his boyfriend, am currently jobless and am living off of my own savings, so I can only support him so much.  He still has copious credit card debt to pay off from a lot of car repairs. Please consider donating, if you can, so he can recover without going even further into debt and/or missing paying bills. We appreciate any help and attention we can receive!

im not the type of person to ask for help like this, and i know this is such a sudden thing coming from me… i would not be seeking help if it was not an emergency! my grandmother has gotten sick with pneumonia on tuesday and our family were called in this morning because we were told she might not live through another night and it was best that family could be there. my grandmother is 88 years old and has had health trouble over the year, but with a heart so strong she always fought through it and to hear that there is a high chance she will not be able to fight off this one is heartbreaking. i love her so so much and i want to be there with her so bad, she’s the last person in my life that I hold dear to heart, i would not be me if it wasn’t for her kind heart and everything that she has taught me. Right now i’m in a panic on trying to travel to quebec as soon as possible but from my recent traveling to visit my boyfriend, my savings are not enough to cover this. i live in manitoba and i need to raise $300 dollars more for traveling costs.

not to highlight the uniquely American horror story that is our education system but we were always AMPED when someone found a bomb threat in the bathroom or w/e bc we got to go outside and hang out for two periods while police searched the school. one time a kid wrote one to get out of a test. looking back that’s a lot to unpack.
