tw : shooting
i feel like getting shot would feel so interesting for two seconds and then it would probably feel bad
curses! you think you are a system but you also have always have a really fucking strong imagination from day 1! time for FOREVER QUESTIONING AND DOUBTING IF ANYTHING IS REAL
Headmate who (with much love in his heart) calls the others losers
.
pov : you try and convince your headmates to rest at night because its a healthy thing to do. they proceed to look for one specific journal to read they just randomly remembered for more than an hour that had four pages in it done because ‘i won’t remember it tomorrow’. the next day, you feel like shit
hi guys!!!!! idk if this question is too personal (if so just delete this from your inbox) but you mentioned being in love?????? i wnated to know how that would work with all of you guys needing to agree and also what is this person (or persons) like?????
hey! i definitely agree having a crush on another person outside of the system is definitely difficult sometimes, especially due to opposing opinions. however, it's super important to note that not all alters will have to be in a romantic relationship with the person aforementioned! while it's quite complicated and things definitely have to be worked out with the other people or person, it is totally possible depending on their preferences. of course, other alters may not have the same affection towards this person or people as others may, and to that it gets complicated. depending on comforts, could be a polyamorous relationship, open relationship, or monogamous relationship- whatever is most comfortable for both groups overall. as for the person/people, they're the sweetest ever, lol! very supportive, accepting, open-minded, albeit a bit stubborn and competitive at times but we love them for that and honestly think its adorable! :D would genuinely fight whatever lord or god above is there for them and it's just asdiufhuihrh. rambly stupid stuff, i won't talk about it too much, but we appreciate them a ton!
thank you for the question! we rambled a little hard there, sorry if we overshared or anything a little, lol. hope that helps answer your question!
i swear to god i will never figure out how this fucking system works. what is this WHOLE ASS HIERARCHY, RULES, AND HYPER-SPECIFIC ROLES FOR and like everyone tells me the most JAW-DROPPING lore just OUT OF THE BLUE??? WHY??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS SYSTEM
Do you enjoy being plural? I’ve heard mixed answers, mostly because some anti-Endo people are hardcore insistent that you have to be suffering to be plural. We enjoy it some days and don’t others!
Hey! I'd definitely say that the *disordered* part of plurality is something I dislike and wish I didn't have, but plurality in itself we do enjoy. We do love our headmates, even though relationships with others may be a bit strained. We have a similar pattern where some days we may hyperfixate on it intensely, and other days we absolutely hate it. There's no 'one right answer'. We love our headmates because they've protected us- we bond with them because they protected us. Some may hate their headmates, some may love their headmates. Personally, we try and make the best of it, especially since for us it's a long-term process to recovery. Focusing only on the bad parts of our disorder only hurts us. It's a spectrum, and nobody has to fit into one little box in order to be considered plural. ♥
Spins in circles /silly
Hi just here to say one thing:
Cool people alert 🫵 /genuine

Hello! Saw the ask a DID sys post and though we'd drop by. Personally we're curious- how do you cope with having so many beings in your system?
We're a collective of around 40-something at the moment, and we have reason to believe that our headcount will not stop growing, nor will it ever go down. This has caused some distress since we're not quite sure how that will work, and we already completely lack a clear roster of frequent fronters. We've been curious as to how others cope with "high" headcounts by most standards. (Although I recognize "cope" may not be the correct word, as it implies the high headcount to be a bad thing and not everyone would experience it as such.)
Hey! For us, we also have an unclear frequent fronter list and are frequently blurry. It was similar for us in a case where we would not stop discovering new members- and it still is that case for us. We try and cope with high headcounts by documenting activity from fronters whenever possible, along with adding various personal notes about them that may help us understand them better. We also try and establish their roles so we can better realize when they may be out- although it isn't always easy to find out, especially when a large number of them are unformed fragments. There's not exactly a way to 'cope', I'd say, but especially if there's a need for control, organizing and documenting them down definitely helps you feel more in control of your headcount numbers. Also to say, there's nothing wrong with having a high headcount. It's just a representation of how much your brain wanted and tried to protect you, no matter how much it took, even if its hard and stressful.
Can we get a very polite “fuck you” to people who intentionally trigger others? Especially ones that cause a split. /slightly targeted
