yachified kagehina!!! (the rest of krsn5 are the ones blowing the bubbles btw)
currently on water 7 arc and i saw some people say zoro doesn’t care about the crew as much but as i’m watching it’s very clear HE DOES! he’s just very big on tough love i feel. he isn’t gonna sugarcoat things or be swept by emotions which is important in a friend group i think! he’s very stable, very reliable. he’s going to be a reminder that you need to push through. all his fights he’s always on the brink of death yet doesn’t allow himself to give up. zoro is resilient.
with the usopp vs luffy situation, it’s clear he is bothered by it but he won’t allow luffy to stay in his feelings. after all, as the captain he has to worry about the state of the crew. i just really love that about zoro. he’s someone that’s going to remind you to stand up. he won’t let you stay upset, but will be there to tell you to keep moving forward. he keeps you pushing on.
zoro’s like the rock of the crew in my eyes! his resilience keeps everyone calm & collected in a crisis. he’s someone you can rely on when you have a problem!
this was the perfect ending for these three. i could not stop crying while watching this episode. after all the struggle, fighting, pain, and death, they can finally be together again.
s4 ep9 was PERFECT. the trio reunited again, having to face their biggest battle yet. i had been waiting for them to reunite, and their reunion was done so well. i loved seeing them fighting together again. their chemistry while fighting is incredible, protecting each other like they've been fighting for years.
trevor telling sypha he loved her right before he fought death was so moving. i could not stop crying after that scene. these two have become one of my favorite ships, and seeing their relationship grow throughout the season has been such a beautiful watch. although the episode leaves on a cliffhanger, the buildup to the season finale was incredible.
trevor finally has someone he truly loves, and because of that love, he can become the hunter his family would be proud of. while sypha is trevor's strength, trevor is also sypha's. she was able to go on the adventures she always dreamed of and discover her strength thanks to her meeting with trevor. they saved villages, helped people, and fell in love along the way. not only did they find each other, trevor and sypha also found alucard. their connection and friendship give them all a start to a new life. these characters meeting in gresit was a fateful encounter that changed their lives forever.
in the series finale, we finally have sypha tell trevor she loves him, too. at this point, i could not stop crying. the love between them is so genuine and perfectly written. their development was done so well that you fall not only for their relationship but also for them as characters. they have so much respect for one another, they see each other for who they are. the bad, the good, and the ugly. they've seen it all on their journey, yet their love is stronger than ever.
alucard's ending made me so happy. after being consumed by grief and guilt, he's now FINALLY content with his life. even though he's dracula's son, he decided to defend humanity to honor his mom. he lost his parents, his new friends left him, and then he was alone in that big house. later on, he was betrayed by people he thought he could trust. alucard's humanity and vampirism will always be apart of his life, a constant battle that will go on for the rest of his life. however, he still loves people. he still values connection, and it has much to do with trevor and sypha. alucard learned the value of friendship from them, giving him hope despite the dark time he went through after they left.
now, at the end of the series, he has people and a community who depend on him, and he finally sees how much he has to offer the world. alucard now has his two favorite people by his side, a village that depends on him and humans he can trust. although there will be moments where he will grieve and be in pain, at least now he has a place to belong with people he cares for. i'm so happy he's finally able to smile <3
the ending with dracula and lisa was also very beautiful. finally reunited, given a second chance at life, and happy to be together again. it's so beautiful to see the series start and end with them.
i'm so happy I finally watched Castlevania, and i can easily say that the trio will be a favorite of mine for a long time!
Yes I like fictional characters a very normal amount. Don’t look at my blog.
this episode was absolutely incredible i just had to come and write about it. the entire season, in my opinion, has been so well done. hashira training arc has always been a favorite of mine and seeing it brought to life has been amazing!
episode 8 was the icing on the cake to an amazing season. one of my favorite things about kny is how it discusses humanity and mortality. this final ep did such a great job at showing the power of human emotions.
kagaya stands amongst the many demon slayer corp members who have passed while he speaks to muzan about the concept of eternity. as we all know, humans don't live forever and this is very prominent in demon slayer. however, kagaya understands how powerful feelings can be. although many people will die, their dreams and hopes will continue. kagaya does not fear death because he understands his goal will live through the hashira.
this LINE is one of my favorites ever. for as long as muzan has existed, not one person has forgiven him for what he has done. the anger and grief that people have felt live forever. muzan believes humans are disgusting, inferior creatures but at this moment, kagaya shows that humans are something to be feared. muzan can never understand the lifelong anger humans are capable of. not one person will ever forget what muzan has done, they will never forgive him, they will never show him kindness. humans have used their anger & hatred to dedicate themselves to ending muzan. muzan will never understand this concept. all of these lanterns represent the lives muzan has ruined, falling down all around him while he stands unbothered. there are HUNDREDS of lanterns that float around muzan, so many lives that he has ruined, yet he does not care. but that doesn't matter, because the power of feelings are greater than muzan's indifference. THE POWER OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT IS GREATER THAN MUZAN.
the art in this scene was insane. the tiger and the dragon morphing into the hashira was done so well. for so long, kagaya has waited for this moment to take down muzan and we see in this scene how the goals and feelings of the hashira have formed into a beast of its own. despite muzan living for so long, he can never comprehend the power of human emotions. as i said before, human emotions have the ability to transcend time. humans affect one another; they understand their lives are short, yet live to pursue their own goals no matter what. this is what muzan does not understand.
this scene was so well done i can't get enough of it. this was such a great episode and is definitely my favorite one so far! the manga was already amazing and then ufotable was able to animate it into this insane piece of media i can't get over it!!
overall 10/10 scene. 10/10 episode. i love demon slayer.
losing my mind this is so cute
