Do you know anything i can donate to for palestine that's not the gofundmes because the idea of having to choose who needs my money more is just. scary to me they all need it 3: maybe there's a thing that splits/distributes money evenly???? idk but help would be appreciated
Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.
There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.
i can’t even imagine how amazing it would have felt to hear this from someone you admire and love so much. after living like a puppet for others, never being honest with his desires, and always doing what people want, shima is told by his favorite person that no matter what, she will like him. mitsumi is such an honest and genuine spirit, although breaking up with shima was a hard decision to make, she did it so gently. this scene is such a testament to their relationship. they have so much respect and adoration for one another. even though it’s been a short time, you can easily tell they see each other as lifelong partners whether it’s romantic or platonic. although their first shot at an relationship didn’t work out, this moment opens up so much opportunity for growth. i just love this scene so very much!!!!
kagehina's interactions will always feel so special, even after all the time that they spent apart. their journeys will forever remain intertwined, and i wanted to pay tribute to their bond in a post time-skip setting. i took inspiration from the bonus chapter about kageyama, hinata, kindaichi, and kunimi playing beach volleyball, which was so moving. kageyama has come so far, i'm so proud of him </3
tobio’s feet sink into the warm sand, a pleasant morning breeze blowing through his t-shirt. it isn’t as hot as he thought it would be, but the sun is already high in the bright blue sky and he is grateful for the sunglasses shoyo lent him before they took their respective positions across the net, facing one another. shoyo knows the basics like the back of his hand: sunscreen, sunglasses, caps, bottles of water filled to the brim. he took care of everything.
“kageyama!” he calls from the other end of the court, enthusiastically waving his hand at tobio. “i’m ready!”
as he takes a few steps back, getting ready to serve, tobio twirls the ball in his hands, feeling its lighter weight, trying to get used to the way the slightly different fabric feels against his palms. he had hit thousands of serves, sent hundreds of tosses to a multitude of spikers, yet somehow this does not feel quite the same. perhaps because it’s shoyo he is playing against, and his eagerness to get good at something shoyo cares about is drilled into him like a habit he cannot unlearn.
in this moment, it doesn’t matter that tobio is a professional volleyball player, that he competed in the 2016 brazil olympic games, that he has been graciously called a young prodigy. all that matters to tobio now is whether or not the ball will land on hinata’s side of the court, right onto the spot his gaze is fixed on. he may be used to it, the feeling still wrenches his gut in a wave of excitement: he wants to play with shoyo, and he wants to win.
it takes tobio a few tries to get it right. the wind is not easy to forget about, since he has never had to take it into account before, but the way the sand curls around his ankles, slowing down his movements, is no less of a pain. he curses, growls at the sand, yells at the atmosphere.
shoyo laughs heartily and brags about finally being better at something than tobio, though he can see him regain control by the minute. he tells tobio his favourite saying, “the sand is kind.”
by the end of the first hour, tobio has adapted. a fast learner, he gets used to the beach as well as oikawa did, if not even quicker. his spikes get more precise, he controls his serves better. finally, he scores several points in a row, even if shoyo still won the first set.
“i’ll win this one.” tobio says, a familiar grin playing on his lips.
shoyo smiles back, his eyes narrowing at the sight of kageyama throwing the ball back into the air. “bring it on.”
i love & hate how i get so invested in a series because i’ll binge it uncontrollably because I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING and then when i finish/catch up i feel empty. happy that i found a new series that i’m OBSESSED with. but now i have to wait for a new chapter. even worse is when there’s nothing else to wait for BECAUSE IT’S OVER.
first season kagehina will always have a soft spot in my heart. their little smiles in this scene makes me so happy!!! THEY WERE SO EXCITED TO OFFICIALLY BE ON KARASUNO!! to finally be on a TRUE team meant the world to them. especially when they had to work together in order to get daichi’s approval. tobio, the boy who was afraid no one can accept him and shoyo, the boy who never thought he would have a real team. their lives would change forever after joining karasuno. this starts the beginning of a lifelong rivalry & a love for volleyball that lasts forever!!
as first years, especially in s1, they were eager to prove themselves. i just love how excited they are when it comes to the little things in volleyball. most people would just brush it off that they got onto their schools team, but to kagehina it means the world!!
IT’S PEAK
kagehina on their lunch break everyday and they somehow always lose track of time and get yelled at for being late to class.
they should be doing their homework
just finished watching dorohedoro the other day and omg it was amazing! at first i was very iffy about it because i was unsure if i would like it but when watching it i got hooked the first character that caught my eye was shin! and now he is one of my favorite i love him and if you have see dorohedoro you would know his partner noi who i absolutely adore her and shin mean the world to me when watching i grew extremely attached to them! shin’s mask is so cool i love it i love the heart design of it and most importantly he looks soooo good in it my man shin’s backstory and the way noi and shin met moved me i don’t care her healing his arms while knowing nothing about him and then when noi is training to become a devil they start to get closer and become friends before they’re partners then of course they get attacked and noi is about to get badly hurt and guess who saved the day shin! which ends in him being injured badly injured and it’s a favor return of when noi healed his arms and part of noi’s training is she can’t use her magic for a year and them getting attacked happens three days before she passes and makes it to a year but with shin being injured and her magic being able to heal him she uses it they both sacrifice something for each other their dynamic i love and then in episode eight in current time there’s a chance they may not be partners again and noi gets attacked and shin immediately realizes something is wrong it may have to do with the contracts but i like to be delusional and think otherwise and then after everything happens shin is nowhere to be found so noi goes out searching for him and he gets found of course and shin says he was looking for her everywhere and then they both were able to sign the contract so they are partners again and they looked so happy while doing it and then… “i suppose it’s our destiny to die here together” they move mountains they have deeply moved me i want them happy and together forever i don’t care if you see them platonically or romantically their bond does not compare to any others anyways enough shin and noi rambling but dorohedoro is genuinely amazing the plot is amazing and surprisingly none of the characters are unlikable to me they all have their moments but i feel in the end they’re all likeable and i feel you see a good amount of each character and you learn about them all and you don’t really see it in much media i do plan to read the manga because i cannot wait till season two to see more of it (shin and noi mostly) but if you haven’t seen dorohedoro i definitely recommend and if you have you’re amazing! i need more people to talk to about this though but i don’t have really any so that’s why you guys are getting me rambling! okay that’s all bye you may see more rambles from me who know i actually don’t think anyone cares tbh
