i found this chapter so heartwarming!!! seeing how excited mitsumi is for her family to visit her was just so adorable!!! i also loved how happy her family was to go visit tokyo! the scene where mitsumi finds her younger sister was so beautiful. mitsumi is such a great older sister and person. just such a comforting chapter! <3

thorfinn at 16 is INSANE. he’s become such a force of nature in just ten years that it’s insane to think how he was just a child fending for himself at one point. although i’m amazed at how strong he’s become, it makes me so sad to see how numb he is to everything around him. he’s too young to be so angry and detached from life. i understand he still grieves for his father but i hope he’s able to find peace sooner or later. despite how much he’s changed, at his heart he’s still the same boy who’s mourning his father.

i’m obsessed with this new autumn official art!! the colors, the outfits, the birds, ao in the bottom with hoh! hakyona always look so beautiful but in this art they are SO perfect!!! they look so cozy reading the book together. the overall vibe is just so comforting, i’m obsessed!! i miss greed island arc so much. it was so much fun watching it the first time. there was so many sweet moments between killua & gon. it just felt like a great adventure!! with bisky being there helping the boys get stronger, they learned so much about their techniques. it’s not as “drama” filled or intense as the other arcs, but i loved watched killugon get closer and learn! just a very comforting arc overall!

finally caught up on vinland saga. this is a masterpiece. thorfinn is one of the greatest characters ever written. overcoming hatred and devoting his life to peace is so beautiful and inspiring. there is genuinely no other character like him I'm so unbelievably attached to this story. thorfinn is so lovely and hardworking. my second favorite character is hwho'sho's storyline is so moving and emotional. her being able to forgive thorfinn after watching him for 4 years was one of the best moments in the series. just so wonderful. i loved watching thorfinn become more gentle as the years went by. i hope he's able to achieve his dream and be happy forever. i love this series so much <3333
