- “I told you that you’d get sick if you cuddled with me… and no I’m not making you soup because I’M STILL SICK.”
- “Dude you have a serious fever.” “Ha, it’s just because I’m so hot you can’t handle this.” “No this is like hospital level fever. You are going to die.”
- “I want to just lay here forever, I feel so crappy.” “Stfu you aren’t the one with the flu.”
- “Hey, can you buy another box of tissues?” “I just bought you 3 yesterday!” “I KNOW.”
- “I know this is a family cure and it’s supposed to make me better but that looks straight up disgusting.”
- “If you don’t take your freaking medicine I’m going to kill you.” “No need, this flu will do it for you.”
- “Ugh, do I have to get you soup right now?” “I will sneeze on you if you don’t.” “Fair point.”
- “Look, I finally organized all my papers. Even though I’m sick!” *sneeze* “Oh fu-”
- “I’M DYING.” “You’re fine, you just have a cold.” “I SAID, I’M DYING.”
- “I know you were super sweet and bundled me up in a bunch of blankets and brought me soup and tissues, but I have to go to the bathroom now…”

Helpful writing tips for my friends.
When you’re little, night time is scary because there’s monsters hiding right under the bed. When you get older, the monsters are different: self doubt, loneliness, regret and though you may be older and wiser, you still find yourself afraid of the dark.

Hey there! The first mafia anon here~ sorry for not specifying but I meant both the mix and match stuff and the specific ideas too. Thank you so much!!
Hola, it’s fine; I just wanted to make sure. On a side note the actual definition of mafia is “an organized international body of criminals, operating originally in Sicily and now especially in Italy and the US and having a complex and ruthless behavioral code.” I’m assuming you aren’t writing specific to Italy or really specific to the actual mafia. More like a very large, powerful, controlling gang right? The post will be tailored to that. Lmk if that’s wrong.
So mix and match stuff-
Setting (cities make the most sense): - London, England - New York City, New York - Chicago, Illinois* - Detroit, Michigan* - Tokyo, Japan - Kingston, Jamaica* - Miami, Florida - Acapulco, Mexico* - Bejing, China - Vitoria, Brazil* - Dubai, India - Los Angeles, California* - Atlanta, Georgia- Camden, New Jersey*- Carcas, Venezuela*
* Astrix= cities I found on Internet lists that have high crime or are gang infested
Location of Headquarters: - abandoned factory - underground (i.e. abadoned minimg shafts, sewer) - mansion - nondescript, regular house - house in the forest/isolated - the level beneath a business (mabe a shady one)
Characters:- member of the gang - leader of the gang - member of another gang that’s in the main gang for spying purposes - undercover cop in the gang - witness of gang activity that the gang decides not to kill - someone who works with the gang but isn’t in it - victim/ near-victim of the gang - enemy of the gang - someone the gang wants to join them - ex-member of the gang - kicked out gang member - a new gang member who has to prove themself - love interest of a gang member - relative of a gang member - detectives/ cops after the gang
Issues the gang faces: - over-extension, too hard to control such a big area - a snitch - lower revenue from illegal activity - harder to perform illegal activites due to tighter restrictions, authorities taking notice or taking action, etc. - rival gang(s) - lack of a good leader, current leader lacks judgement - hard time recruiting new members - lack of loyalty - declining territory
Type of criminal actvity the gang does to gain money: - drug dealing - prostitution - money laundering - smuggling (weapons, drugs, organs, etc) - hired hits (like assasinations) - body disposal - car theft/ regular theft
Specific ideas- • a gang member gets caught by the police and rats them out to gain immunity. The gang is out to get the snitch for revenge, so the snitch gets help from an ex-gang member to escape
• a gang is having issues with loyalty. The leader decided to make all new recruits and people with questionable loyalty do a series of risky acts to gain to earn trust
• (warning: cliche) the undercover cop/ spy from a differnt gang falls for the gang leader and tries to protect him or her
• a gang obtains organs in the black market. They organize operations for the people who need the organs, but in order for the person to obtain the organ+surgery, they have to provide the gang with something/ someone of value
• ^ elaborating, the relative of a person in need of a life saving procedure is traded to the gang in return for the organ. The relative that now belongs to the gang has skills the gang needs (like hacking). The relative is determined to get revenge on the family member that sold them out, and to escape the gang
• a witness of the gang’s activity is kidnapped by the gang to prevent the witness from going to the police. The gang members warm up to the witness, and the witness rises in popularity and gains some trust. Despite the gang’s no kill policy, the witness discovers much more awful things going on behind the scenes
• a hired, professional hitman for the gang notices a pattern to their victims. They have a change of heart, and work to save the people on the hit list from the replacement assasin
• a person joins the gang for safety purposes, unbeknownst to the gang who thinks they’re gaining a regular recruit. Later, the gang realizes why the person was in need of their protection, and immediately regrets taking them in.
