Which makes me wonder if Suguru would feel all that comfortable dating Gojo considering he would be an adult in the body of a teen again. You know despite he obviously still loves him and all seems rainbows and flowers at first, it probably would be a little akward situation realize everyone regresed to a past self but in Geto's case he has literally a life worth of experience.

I can see Suguru feeling a bit alone again for pretty different reasons.

My guess is probably he could request to talk with Tengen (I don't remember if they actually can do it all time but whatever) and ask him for more info on Kenjaku and such. He probably would be one of the only (if not the only) persons to understand Suguru position with the time travel and such.

And Suguru probably would wait a few years to reveal the truth. I think it would be for the good in the end, even if Saturo will feel a bit betrayed at first for being excluded.

And it's kinda depressing that the manga peaked in terms of villains right in the half of the 2nd act, and for the rest of the story we have... well not so good antagonist to fill the space left by Chisaki.

Fun trivia: In the character page for Nine in the Volume Rising, we can see in Horikoshi sketches that the palms of his hands were supposed to have the little holes that allow an AFO user to physically steal quirks.

Same holes All For One and Shigaraki have:

Yet, in the movie itself the holes are totally absent from Nine's hands despite his gloves are clearly designed with that specific function in mind.

I guess the production just totally missed that detail in the translation from Hori sketches?

I know! Nine in general would be an awesome villain for the main story, I'll die on that hill.

At the same time if AFO actually had eyes and was able to see Nine directly, he would have ended up in a vault Lmao. No way our dear demon lord let the perfect Yoichi clone to escape.

Horikoshi actually likes to imply a lot the idea of AFO projecting his obsession with Yoichi in different persons, like Shigaraki for example (even if in this case the parallel doesn't work quite well as with Nine). Or in a lesser degree with Dabi too.

We have panels like this as well:

And of course Nine and Shigaraki share their own set of visual parallels, which for a story standpoint makes sense as they're both in the same line of numerical experiments (another subplot totally wasted btw).

In general it feels like all this details and parallels were part of a bigger storyline that was cut short in the end, never reaching it's full potential (Shigaraki doesn't interact with Yoichi either for example).

So anyway we were robbed of having a big and interesting subplot with all the members of the Shigaraki family. Is a shame because it feels like AFO could have been a much more fully fleshed character.

MHA fans shouldn't ignore how beautiful Nine is.

The public humiliation will always be more satisfying than just the kill, and for BK a hit to his ego is better than any physical wound (even if he deserves this too).

Plus if someone at Cider gang was recording the whole thing and they upload it to internet later imagine the public reaction after being the honored student from U.A getting his ass kicked in the grounds of the school, not only will be motive of laughs among the general audience and low the reputation of heroes among them, but it also will drive crusty boy crazy because he never thought on record his own attack.

You have to love Cider professionalism during the job, he's not like those incompetents dudes from the lov. He has standards

His mask is one of the coolest designs in the whole series, and it's very unique of him.

Even if I like his attractive face without it, the mask should stay during the job.

I was wondering...what it he goes to steal smth in UA? Not sure on what he could steal but hey why not? That would be a huge blow to their egos.

Plot twist. Izumi beats him first and she is the one to invade UA and stole SMTH - it was crucial for her plans- BK tried to downplayed so hard but hates how everyone is impressed.

No idea of what he would steal, but if he and Izu converge the same day with the same plan of steal some shit and they're like "wtf are you doing here?".

They almost start fighting but then Bakugou appears and tries to capture them screaming "Die!" as usual, but then Izu and Cider join forces and humilliate BK in public in the U.A grounds. A hard hit for his ego.

That would be also a moment for fall into a spiral of love and horniness for our thiefs.

I wish we could see more of him in the movie with just the full armor without the suit over it (though is still looks cool af).

Also notice how in the sketch there's seems to be a sticky substance under the armor plates, that detail is absent in the movie.

Random take but: Stain had the coolest and most insane boots design on his debut.

Like we should normalize black leather boots with a lot of metal and with small chains for laces, that looks cool as hell.

Funnily enough I think Geto has much more chances of alter the course of time than Gojo does, because when you think about it the story is written in way that puts Suguru as the main character who lives most of situations while Gojo is absent or doesn't have enough context to actually prevent stuff to happen.

So Geto could change a few inmediate things that happen when he was a teen such as:

_The death of Haibara (that's his name?)

_The death of Riko.

_The whole fight with Toji to ever happen, thought it probably will cause some troubles as Gojo will take more time to get to the 100% of his power.

_Probably can do something about the two sisters before their situation gets out of control. I guess he could pretend he's going to take them to a "school for gifted kids" before they manifest curse energy.

_Guess he indirectly will cause Megumi to never meet Gojo and became a sorcerer? Assuming Toji doesn't die here and Geto probably doesn't want to have anything to do with him or Megumi, is unlikely he will do something for him.

And on the more long term side when he was an adult he could do more stuff as well:

_Probably go after Yuta and while he's mad because of his original death, he probably could prevent Rika to go crazy that one time.

_Assuming Suguru is aware of all things Kenjaku did and his plans, he probably could be actively hunting him knowing several things. Still will be difficult deal with Ken because he's still sneaky.

_Geto probably could save Junpei from the plans of Mahito and instead adopt him into sorcery (this is my fav headcanon btw).

_Doing something about Yuuji, maybe find him before eat the first finger and explain him the truth about his parents.

_Shibuya will be totally different of course.

I ask this bc I do want to give Izumi notoriety. Ofc she will WORK to gain it( I love her, but it would be disingenuous to the story making Izumi win by mere existing) but like the media does talk about the fearsome Usage (it's her moniker. A rare win for this fandom is the bunny jokes for Izu) and the same could be add to Cinder. He is a big name in the thievery world.

Cinder works in the shadow and no one knows who he is?

I assume the Cider House gang has sort of a reputation, considering their methods to operate and how they can wait for months before a big hit and not get captured in the process.

In my own AU nobody knows Cider is a member of the Himura family btw, but that's also probably because the clan erased a lot of his public registers and invented some story of "our son is overseas" or something like that.

Of course they're a famous gang in the otherworld however.

Ironically Nine is the underdog here, even his origin chapter put emphasis on how he "survived under the radar" considering how crazy his quirk is. I have my own ideas to flesh out this plot point, more info later.

I love the idea of Mizunami being totally clueless about his reputation in certain social media. He would probably think that's a bit cringe, but if it's Izu... he obviously doesn't mind.

He probably can get away because the mask covers a good part of his face, and that's a popular topic among his followers who fantasy about how he looks unmasked.
