In France April fools is called “poisson d’avril” which translates to “fish of April” ! The French tradition is to cut out paper fish and stick them to peoples backs without them knowing as a small prank.

Here is a small piece of chapter two of my fic that i have talked about before,, it might not stay in the final draft, idk, but i like it!

Right now the name of the fic is 'Is It Cold Outside?' but it might change at some point.

Todoroki Enji, most commonly known as the Number Two Hero; Endeavour, was a perfect and beloved hero. To civilians, maybe. To kids whose parents told stories of great heroes, probably. But, if you asked his family, you would get vastly different answers.

Todoroki Touya loved his father. Admired him with all of his being. He wanted to be exactly like him when he grew up. He was the eldest of four, and so, it was his responsibility to look after his siblings. But, in his heart was a dark and cold feeling that screamed at him everyday.

"Hitoshi?" Katsuki grumbled, putting his sweaty palms on his closed eyes, lightly rubbing the tiredness away.

"Hmm?"

"It's nearly midnight, go to sleep."

Hitoshi adjusted themself to be able to look at Katsuki while still being able to play on their console.

"I know." They put one hand on Katsuki's hair. "Go to sleep if you're tired."

Katsuki sighed. "Come on, Eye Bags. I don't want to sleep alone."

"Is the Bakugou Katsuki asking me, an extra, to sleep with him?"

Katsuki 'tch'-ed, before throwing a pillow that had fallen on the floor at them. The bastard smirked.

Hitoshi went to say something, but held themself back at the sight of the other. Katsuki was holding back a yawn, his eyes misty from lack of sleep.

He was right, it was pretty late. And Katsuki usually went to bed at 8:20 pm.

Was he really waiting for them to finish their game? Hitoshi smiled.

"How about this? I finish this part and then I go to sleep."

"You said the same thing thirty minutes ago..."

"I pinky promise?" Hitoshi put their pinky up, and waved their hand that used to be in his hair in front of him, right in his face.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, swatting away their hand from his face. But he still linked his pinky with theirs, finalising their promise.

"Now you better hurry the fuck up, got it Mind Fuck?"

Hitoshi let out a chuckle. They came in close to Katsuki, then rubbed the tips of their noses together.

"What the fuck?!" Katsuki blinked a few times, surprised. "The hell was that?"

"A nose kiss. Never heard of it?"

"No the fuck I didn't? And what the hell even is a nose kiss?"

"It's just rubbing our noses together. To warm up the tip of your nose." They tilted their head to the right. "Your parents never did that with you?"

"Why? Sensei's doing it to you?"

Hitoshi rolled their eyes. "Sensei's not my dad."

"Mhm. Go tell that to Half-N-Half. I bet he'd totally believe you."

"Anyway!" Hitoshi leaned in quickly, before getting back into their initial position, leaned against the bedframe and both hands holding the handheld console.

Katsuki groaned at the small kiss his partner had given him, but went back to his sleeping position still.

"Bastard..." he mumbled as he closed his eyes.

And now I'm 1k in chapter two, like what the–?! And I wrote those 1k words today instead of in a few days.

Am I okay? Am I sick? Am I myself?

No, but jokes aside, I'm so proud of myself! It still won't be a while before I start posting, I need to have at least the first four chapters ready and then four others. And also my beta reader (hi, if you're reading this! <3) has to read them over and it won't be in a while but I prefer they feel okay than to force them to read my work.

I wanted to put something else but I don't remember what it is, triste ;-;.

Uhm, recently I wrote 2k words. Like, wtf?! I wrote 2k words, 2k words on only one fic and not multiple ones (like a little bit of words for one fic and some other small words on another). It is the first time I have ever written that many words for one project as quickly as I just did. It usually takes me months to write that many words, and even then it's on multiple projects and not just focused on one. And I actually like what I wrote (somewhat). (the fic in question being a mha Vigilante AU. I'm only at chapter one, but I'm 2,244 words in! (some of these words were written in the beggining of the year, or around that time I don't remember)) I am actually proud of that fic, like wth?!

I have so many ideas for it and am even going as far as saying that it (might) be put into multiple parts, like a series, plus some side one-shots (but those will come in wayy later). It might just take me another year to actually start to publish it because i started to write for it last year (i rewrote it 3 times)

the only things that i will say about the fic is that it has Vigilante Izu, Shouto, Hitoshi and Denki, with some dadzawa and papamic (normally haha, i might change it at some point idk). but the Vigilante thing will stay cuz it's the main idea, and i have four chapters outlined (which i never do, because it hurts my brain to outline my fics).

so, just to say, i wrote 2k words in two to three days. and i am proud, which i am never really am with my writing.
