Have you ever wondered how Severus would kiss in different situations? Don't worry, I got you, babe.

Sleepy Kisses These kisses are so sweet and long. The slight tenderness to them make your heart race quicken even in a tired state. He'll leave soft, warm kisses on your forehead or lips, bringing you closer to a calm sleep.

In the Rain These kisses are tender and passionate. It's something about the rain either falling on you both or on the umbrella over head. His one hand rests on your waist as the other holds the umbrella up or your face.

Under Falling Snow These are cold. Obviously, it's cold enough for snow to fall. Severus will hold you close for warmth, and his lips are surprisingly warm. His hands hold you in place close to him, and he'll leave sweet kisses over your lips or cheeks.

In Public Strictly hand kisses. Severus won't kiss you deeply or on the lips at all in public. One, he doesn't want attention on himself, and two, he hates it when he sees other people do it, so why would he?

During Sex These kisses are a lot like the rainy kisses he gives. They can vary from deeply tender and loving, making your heart skip a beat and make you feel like you're melting. Or they are filled with passion. He'll show your lips, or any amount of flesh for that matter, any mercy when it comes to making you feel his love through a kiss.

Goodbye Kisses No, these aren't breakup kisses. Those hurt too much for anyone. These are when you or him leave for a job or trip. His hands hold you to him longer than you wish, and the longer you kiss, the deeper they get. Anything he can get a hold of in these moments gets a kiss.

Kisses With a Secret These kisses are very rare. He'll leave a very quick kiss or not one at all. He'll make it look like a deep kiss, but in reality, he's talking to you. Either trying to give you information or telling you his plan.

Behind a Newspaper He'll either hold up a newspaper to hide these kisses or anyone around, or you'll give him a drive-by kiss on his head. His hand will reach for your neck to keep you there longer than a few seconds.

Very excited to have been able to update everything this weekend! I have a big exam coming up so writing will have to take a back burner. Thank you for everyone who has read thus far. I appreciate each and every reader.

Some of my favorite words and phrases to describe a character in pain

coiling (up in a ball, in on themselves, against something, etc)

panting (there’s a slew of adjectives you can put after this, my favorites are shakily, weakly, etc)

keeling over (synonyms are words like collapsing, which is equally as good but overused in media)

trembling/shivering (additional adjectives could be violently, uncontrollably, etc)

sobbing (weeping is a synonym but i’ve never liked that word. also love using sob by itself, as a noun, like “he let out a quiet sob”)

whimpering (love hitting the wips with this word when a character is weak, especially when the pain is subsiding. also love using it for nightmares/attacks and things like that)

clinging (to someone or something, maybe even to themselves or their own clothes)

writhing/thrashing (maybe someone’s holding them down, or maybe they’re in bed alone)

crying (not actual tears. cry as in a shrill, sudden shout)

dazed (usually after the pain has subsided, or when adrenaline is still flowing)

wincing (probably overused but i love this word. synonym could be grimacing)

doubling-over (kinda close to keeling over but they don’t actually hit the ground, just kinda fold in on themselves)

heaving (i like to use it for describing the way someone’s breathing, ex. “heaving breaths” but can also be used for the nasty stuff like dry heaving or vomiting)

gasping/sucking/drawing in a breath (or any other words and phrases that mean a sharp intake of breath, that shite is gold)

murmuring/muttering/whispering (or other quiet forms of speaking after enduring intense pain)

hiccuping/spluttering/sniffling (words that generally imply crying without saying crying. the word crying is used so much it kinda loses its appeal, that’s why i like to mix other words like these in)

stuttering (or other general terms that show an impaired ability to speak — when someone’s in intense pain, it gets hard to talk)

staggering/stumbling (there is a difference between pain that makes you not want to stand, and pain that makes it impossible to stand. explore that!)

recoiling/shrinking away (from either the threat or someone trying to help)

pleading/begging (again, to the threat, someone trying to help, or just begging the pain to stop)

Is REALLY insecure, considering he is a mutant turtle monster and you're a normal person.

Hates admitting it, but envies your position, he's also really paranoid about you leaving him for someone more normal.

Surprisingly gentle with whatever you give him. Like everything you ever handed to him is handled with great care.

Sometimes gets Donnie to check your location, for your own safety he argues.

Tries to get you to join training sessions, he doesn't want you getting hurt when he isn't there with you.

Has literally tried to punt someone for coming too close to you, Leo and Donnie had to keep him in check.

Whenever he gets enough of his brothers he comes to your apartment to cool off.

Likes taking you on dates on the rooftops, it's easy for him to access and there's not really any risk of him being seen.

has picked you up like a sack of potatoes on multiple occasions, he thinks it's amusing when you try to struggle.
