mass deportations are starting. if you see ice vehicles or agents, yell ice raid and la migra as loud as you can.

if someone asks who you voted for, keep your mouth shut. they’re fishing for traitors.

if anyone, anyone at all asks about your neighbors or their legal status in the us, you know nothing. don’t be the reason that their family is separated.

if anyone asks about your religion or lack thereof, keep it vague. this administration will look for any excuse to persecute you.

your friends are trans or queer? for the next four years they’re not. don’t expose anyone’s status as a trans or queer person to anyone else, even if you think you can trust them.

did someone you know get an abortion? no, they didn’t. they were never pregnant.

in short, don’t be a snitch, and keep to yourself these next four years. we’ll make it through this even if it seems hopeless at times.

we can survive this. we’ve survived before, and we’ll survive again.

I like to think the swatchlings would deeply misunderstand Grillby’s colours. When he’s red, it would mean he’s sick/sad & his warmth is fading. Blue means he is getting hot, embarrassed or nervous. Swatchlings think the opposite!

Shenanigans ensue from said misunderstandings

I always kinda thought that Breakdown and Bulkhead were bitter exes. Which is why they hate eachother in the show. The breakup was messy.

YOU GET IT. I was thinking just that with the drawing 😂 I don't think either would truly want to 'kill' the other. They got a whole hatemance going on; they love the thrill of the fight, keeping tabs and one-upping each other.

And honestly in Operation : Breakdown I think Bulkhead figured he could handle it and when he finds out later on that Silas possessed Breakdown's body kinda proves to me he never wanted him dead. 🥺

It took me a while to answer but I want to tell you- this fic is so SWEET. Got me kicking my legs like a highschool girl 😂 I love June and the section where she taught Miko about the war, and Miko apologizing to them all 🥺oaaagggh, my heart

I'm currently at chapter 36, and I'm pleasantly surprised to learn about BD's gestalt (since idk anything about them)
