IMPORTANT!!!

trans women + transfeminine people largely and overwhelmingly accept and love trans men + transmasculine people. btw. I know sometimes the internet might seem the opposite way, but it isn’t. There are far more trans women + transfems who see trans men + transmasculine people as siblings sharing in the same fight than there are trans women + transfems who do not feel kinship or solidarity with transmasculine people. I promise. There are transfems + trans women you’ll come to know who care a lot about transmasculine people and the oppression they deal with, and have suffered for extending that care to their siblings. I just really think it’s important to remind everyone that the loud minority here is just that — a loud minority.

Transmascs + men — trans women are your sisters and they love you and want you here. Do not let anyone convince you that’s not true. There are transfems + trans women affected by antitransmasculinity who see it and care. You’re not alone. If anyone tries to convince you that you are, they don’t have your best interest at heart. We are not alone. This goes to transfems + trans women being told “we’re the only people you are safe with”. People who care about your safety want you to know there are many places you can go to find safety. They want to inspire hope and change not hopelessness and paranoia and isolation.

On the topic of trans men experiencing erasure and other problems that are not talked about, we should probably talk about when we actually DO get recognized and it's usually the white skinny trans men who get the most recognition. Which, is awesome and I'm not complaining because getting any recognition is a win. But we need to start also having our black poc, asian, native, hispanic, etc brothers in mind if you have not done so already. They have been erased from history even more than us. The same goes for the fat plus size men, the men who don't pass either because they can't or just don't want to (which is valid!), the men who can't transition or feel comfortable in their agab body (which is also valid), the men who are femme presenting, the men who are butch, men who are disabled etc etc.

Listen to when your black poc, asian, hispanic, native, etc men SPEAK. Listen to them. Listen to the men who are severely underrepresented in our community. Don't you DARE tell them to sit down or shut them out when speaking up about their experiences as trans men. If you see it shut it down immediately! That toxic shit is not safe in our spaces and we will not be quiet about it.

I genuinely don't think the trans/queer community at large has separated itself from the transphobic idea that everything trans men do is embarrassing and cringe, and it rlly shows in the way some of you talk abt your questioning of your gender back in 2020, as well as artists and people associated with teenage/young transman/masc culture, and it's rlly disappointing to see, esp since it's so common in the transmasc community itself

calling trans women who support trans men and aren't anti-transandrophobia theory "pick mes" is INSANE. you cannot fathom that the vast majority of trans women outside of your tiny bubble on the internet actually care about trans mens safety holy shit

People pretend that transandrophobia = Misandry just so they can keep harassing, abusing and being awful pieces of shit to transmascs while pretending it "doesn't happen".
