hey gravity falls fandom do you remember when the show was still airing and we found out there’d be a character named Tad Strange showing up at some point in the series. Do you remember how because we learned he was voiced by mister welcome to nightvale Cecil Baldwin that he was gonna play a demon from Bill’s dimension. Do you remember that everyone drew him as a blue square to represent him being the polar opposite of Bill himself.

Do you guys ALSO remember the time that everyone thought the star on the cipher wheel (and therefore the star on top of the tent of telepathy) was another demon from Bill’s dimension. Do you remember that everyone called him Kryptos. Do you remember the theories about Gideon teaming up with this demon Kryptos to take down the Pines family after Bill “betrayed him”. Do you remember. Do you remember how absolutely insane everyone went when Weirdmageddon Part 1 aired and we learned that there really was a demon from Bill’s dimension named Kryptos. Do you remember all the jokes about how the canon diamond-shaped Kryptos was “inferior” to the fanon star-shaped one. Do you remember? Do you remember your history?

far be it for me to police what silly things you do in fandom and i'm delighted that there's enough activity for there to be a ship name/tag at all but is kryptbill really what we're going with? "kryptos cipher" is right there and i personally think referencing a bizarre art piece outside the cia headquarters that's encrypted with a riddle within a riddle that nobody has been able to even begun to solve because nobody can crack the code to the last passage of the damn thing to talk about two eldritch shape guys kissing is really funny

SURPRISE! The last three pages of this year's Halloween arc were drawn by my wonderful sister @rtonart ! Between this and my brother making all the "corrupted" edits of previous comics, this means all three of us worked on the arc together. A family project :)

My younger brother suggested doing a nod to Pibby this year by "glitching out" older comics and playing around with different effects and gimmicks. It turned out really weird, but a lot of fun. Learning With Pibby is a show/pitch/pilot we're both very passionate about and still rooting to ultimately get made. Never give up hope!

It was so cool to do this and really fun way to bond with my brother and sister, and I hope you guys got a kick out of this arc too, despite how fucking weird and confusing it must have been.
