I've always, for the longest time, head-canoned that when Nightmare and Dream ate their respective apples and subsequently fused with them in the process, that they also *became* the apples in a sense?

Basically what I'm saying is that since the tree was cut down/died due to the events of Dreamtale, that they, themselves, became the two sides of the tree. While the tree was in its prime, it regulated all of the emotions and balance in the whole multiverse. However, because of the apple incident, Nightmare and Dream now take on the duty that the tree once had; regulating the emotions of the multiverse individually.

Hence they're constant struggle with one another.

As eternal, long-living beings of their respective roles, I doubt they would stay mad at each other forever- at least to the degree that it was initially after the tragedy in Dreamtale. This would make a truce somewhat inevitable- or at least a mutual understanding and respect for each other's jobs.

(I think this could, of course, vary depending on the way you depict their relationship, backstory, powers, situation, and the story at large)

Anyways, going back to what I was originally getting at before being sidetracked, they are- essentially- the tree itself.

In a weird way, I always thought that it was a little strange that eating the golden apples didn't seem to have any consequences as opposed to the negative ones (example being Nightmare violently being ripped apart and literally dying- but that can be dubious because, from my understanding, that was partially the main antagonist's influence on the apples??).

Again, not addressing canon and what the original had in mind, I think it would be interesting that slowly, over time, the tree starts to grow back through them.

Think of it as a way of aging for these immortals. After all, apples have seeds, so one would assume that they'd eventually sprout after enough time and nourishment (via the abundance of emotions and just generally taking care of themselves). Eventually, they'll have to create their own guardians to carry on their work, and the cycle continues after they die.

What I imagine is a weird mesh of hanahaki disease and the philosophy of cycles, in where when the two twins eventually pass, they will become the new trees in its place. Over time, while doing their jobs and fulfilling their roles, roots may start to sprout from their ribcage, followed by leaves. It would be cute at first, little leaves and branches that are harmless. But then, as time continues, more and more of their body gets overtaken with it.

But again, these changes would happen gradually over the course of their long, LONG lifespans. When it starts getting to the point of detriment to them, then they've probably lived hundreds of lifetimes over already.

I don't know, I just think it's an interesting idea to head-canon about, and a cool excuse to draw the twins with plant-like roots stretching out of them.

BSP playing a silly game where they're blindfolded and see if they can identify their other goofy boyfriends by kiss alone.

Killer gets everyone the quickest, after all, he's already mostly blind all the time.

Nightmare actually gets Dust and Killer mixed up cause they pulled a dirty trick on him. (Killer got his DT all over Dust's face to throw him off) and Dust kissed mean and quick on purpose. Very mischievous. NM was not happy about this. He later demanded to kiss them until there was absolutely no way he could misidentify them. (Ohhh nooo, what ever will they do?)

Cross couldn't guess anyone because he kept getting too embarrassed and distracted and asking for "retries" because he "got distracted" lmao.

NM got Dust and Killer back by shape-shifting into one of the other boys and confusing the shit out of them.

Horror relaxed and took his time and got them all right. He definitely had fun.

ok sooo this is my second official AU called UNICORN TALE. unicorntale is an au that has unicorns in it. the soul colors are unique for every monster and they got theire own unique unicorns. if you want to find a unicorn for yourself youre soul color should be matched with that unicorn. after that you will be able to summon that unicorn or it will come to youre rescue if it senses youre in a danger you cant pull yourself out of.

yaaaaaay finally finished the first design for sans heheheh now i introduce you to my boy.

he us not as lazy as original sans. he summons unicorn blasters and sharp bones.

he can use telekinesis but only with his horn on his head. the unicorn blasters can charge up to 77% of energy but still are more destructive then normal gaster blasters. he likes puns very much and he comes with new ones ever second. papyrus likes some of his brother's jokes but not all of them. UNI!SANS is obssesed with ice cream that has cantaloupe flavore. he still have not found his special unicorn yet but he doesnt care if he does or not.

guess its all for him now heheh i had too much fun drawing him...i really love how UNI turned out.

oh and he likes ti be called Uni or Calypso. (sorry i tried to link the description for him but i couldnt place the link so i copy pased the descripstion lol

So, back around 2022-2023, I had to explain to a BUNCH of friends what exactly is/was the Undertale/UTMV fandom. It was hard to explain AUs of AUs… of multiverses… to people which weren’t there to personally experience the transition?

A lot of these stories and ideas just stems from people getting inspired off of other people, and kind of building up from there. However, if you weren’t really there for the natural progression of that… the fandom will kind of seem like… a lot (even though it kind of is ^^ the rabbit hole runs deep…).

So, I tried my hand at semi-making a “comprehensive” guide to how I see the layers of the fandom ^^” (in a silly, not-so-serious way).

The deeper you go into this fandom, the harder it sometimes gets to even leave 💀
