The Observable Universe : How far can you see? Everything you can see, and everything you could possibly see, right now, assuming your eyes could detect all types of radiations around you – is the observable universe. In light, the farthest we can see comes from the cosmic microwave background, a time 13.8 billion years ago when the universe was opaque like thick fog. Some neutrinos and gravitational waves that surround us come from even farther out, but humanity does not yet have the technology to detect them. The featured image illustrates the observable universe on an increasingly compact scale, with the Earth and Sun at the center surrounded by our Solar System, nearby stars, nearby galaxies, distant galaxies, filaments of early matter, and the cosmic microwave background. Cosmologists typically assume that our observable universe is just the nearby part of a greater entity known as “the universe” where the same physics applies. However, there are several lines of popular but speculative reasoning that assert that even our universe is part of a greater multiverse where either different physical constants occur, different physical laws apply, higher dimensions operate, or slightly different-by-chance versions of our standard universe exist. via NASA

El Estilo Tomboy

“Tomboy” es la palabra que se utiliza para designar a personas de sexo femenino que se comportan o actúan como hombres, pero cuando nos referimos a tomboy como un estilo de vestimenta nos referimos a chicas que visten y llevan un look masculino. Un ejemplo bastante conocido de este estilo es Amber del grupo f(x), seguro que más de uno/a la primera vez que la vio la confundió con un chico.

¿Qué llevan las tomboy? 

Podría responder a esta pregunta de forma rápida con “ropa de hombre”, pero voy intentar ser un poco más concreta.

Para empezar, muchas tomboy usan reductores de pecho/breast binders para dar una imagen más varonil. Los breast binders pueden ser tops deportivos o vendas.

Para personas que prefieran algo más eficaz están los breast binders "oficiales" por así decirlos, las prendas que han sido creadas con la función de reducir el pecho para mujeres que quieran la estética tomboy.

Los hay de velcro, cremallera, elásticos, largos, cortos, blancos, negros, de cuello redondo, de cuello de pico… hay una amplia gama, sí.

Son muy cómodos, no molestan y no duelen, se asimila a usar un sostén normal, muchas mujeres lo utilizan en su día a día como tal.

¿Vestir tomboy significa comportarte como un hombre? 

En absoluto no. Hay chicas que simplemente visten de este modo porque les es mucho más cómodo o simplemente les gusta, pero actúan de forma femenina. El estilo tomboy no tiene porqué estar ligado a querer ser un chico, comportarte como tal ni con tu condición sexual.

Por mucho que tomboy signifique marimacho/machorra, se puede limitar a la apariencia física y la estática, no es necesario que se refiera a algo más profundo como el comportamiento, forma de ser, gustos, etc.
