i feel like I can't stan any kpop groups it seems they all do something problematic
I’m so so so late responding to this, but for anyone else who feels the same, something being problematic doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy or like it. Don’t feel pressured to drop a group you like because they did something negative. It’s up to you. Unfortunately I think most groups have something they’ve done that’s problematic, which is normal for people. - c
we are all just sitting in our own little bedrooms all across the world with our headphones in listening to our little songs aren’t we
this just gave me a huge throwback.
Did anyone else watch these types of videos all the time in elementary school or was that just me
the pain of getting a shit clarinet reed hurts 😔✊🏼
WHY DOES THE WRONG REED MAKE YOU SOUND LIKE SHIT OH MY GOD. I’M SORRY I CAN’T FIND MY GOOD ONES, BUT YOU DON’T NEED TO PUNISH MEEEEE.
I don't know why, but I feel the need to express my pain towards the treatment that Leeteuk receives and has received from his SM and from the fake ELFs.
I've known him for 14 years, I think he is one of the leaders of the industry who have suffered the most.
He's always had a bumpy road, the time when Super Junior was created, it was a very dark time for Kpop, groups didn't get the support that many have today, and Leeteuk was a person who had to deal with a lot of dark days when he didn't see the sunlight.
During his life he has taken so many, many knocks, that to see his smile today is even magical, like a miracle.
Honestly…if you're new to kpop, if you're researching its history, if you don't know Suju except for little snippets that may appear on some SNS, don't speak freely, you know nothing, and your words are vain and hurtful out of ignorance.
If for some reason, you haven't had the education on how to be empathetic or how to be respectful, shut your mouth, because if on top of being ignorant you are rude, you only stand out as a nuisance in life.
So please, if you contact a member of a first or second generation kpop group, of whom you only know fragments of their history, don't give your opinion, your opinion is empty, unless you have had the consideration to sit down and dig into the person's history.
Leeteuk deserves respect, Suju deserves admiration and respect.
There is talk that many have paved the ground that newcomers walk on today, but in reality, it is the first and second generation idols who by giving their health and well being, paved a road that looks beautiful today.
A respect for all of them.
