Well folks, it's that time of year again. Prepare to see Bono and friends — in this case, Guggi — galavanting around the Mediterranean and having their picture taken with restaurant staff. Kelly says he looks "considerably less beardy" and it's true! You can see the Indentayshe™!
Happy Pride! 🌈 🫶
The above is from here.
What if I told you that you could have your dream job, but first you had to wrestle Bono for it?
Gavin is right this is indeed a stupid fucken photo
Just stealing Kelly Drew's entire instagram post today. Bono, Bob, Eli. If you don't want to watch all of "Stories of Surrender," skip to the end and listen to Bono singing "Torna a Surriento" for his da.
I watched. No words right now. Achtoonbaby will tackle this in our own good mystical time.

I'm so happy we got this today

I'm so proud of him, I think my heart will explode.
(yes, it's the Absolute Cinema meme 😭)
e o meme que inspirou/meme inspiration:
minha irmã viu a semelhança e me pediu pra fazer o meme / my sister saw the similarities and told me to do it
He’s glowing, and you can feel it. 🎥 Bono: Stories Of Surrender - Cannes Film Festival, France, 2025.
I went to the Favourite Darkness exhibition of Anton Corbijn and I found this man
I love how all of his photographs are black and white <33
Eu amo tanto ele 😭💖

Happy Birthday, sweetheart! You will always be the man with the heart of a lovely boy. My soul love. Gratitude for your existence.
❤
I remember my first post was a birthday text for Bono, which I deleted because later I found way too corny. Now I think Tumblr is a safe space for that. Sharing *ridiculous* things with fans. At least I can pretend it's my personal blog that no one sees.
Still, I prefer to go for something short and sweet (like him, lol).

I've been celebrating every member of U2's birthday for years now, but Bono's is always the one that makes me most emotional for some reason. Seems like just yesterday he was turning 60, and sharing that playlist with us? And now it's 65... Wow. Time scares.
It's kind of strange how people suddenly come and stay in our lives, but even stranger when you don't know them personally. And even so, it's a intense connection, something a little inexplicable, magical...
I'm very grateful for that. For having discovered this beautiful person, both inside and out, that now accompanies me every day.
I can't imagine Bono leaving us, so many years of life, okay? My mental health depends on this man–
Thanks for everything,
xx

And what if I did a Roman numeral analysis of the opening chord progression in Where The Streets Have No Name to show how from the second it begins The Joshua Tree album harmonically conveys the character of vast desert-like landscapes; the feelings of uncertainty and doubt that are sort of intrinsic to belonging in/moving through a place; the searching for home and/or faith in a contemporary word, all within just seven chords? What would happen then?
