Friday Anime Wrap Up!

So only two of my anime ended for this day so I will not do any spoilers for Kusuriya so don't worry if you are still watching.😉

Tasokare Hotel

This was a really good anime and it wrapped up nicely at the end of the season. it would have been easy to drag it on with more people needing to figure out the mystery behind their death or near death experience but I rather enjoyed the second half of the series more with the triangle of Neko-chan, Atori senpai, and their involvement with Ōsoto-san. The ability to turn back time in order to save Atori senpai might have been a little bit of plot armor but it didn't seem too far fetched to me so I was fine and it made me smile seeing a PoS like Ōsoto-san end up right where he belonged.😈

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 2nd Season

Why did this week ep remind of second season of Mushoku Tensei? Like the elephant in the room is that Jinshi still has his...trunk. Oh and yes that he is actual the younger prince but we been knew that for a while. Maomao doing everything to avoid finding out what Jinshi is trying so hard to tell her is priceless and I feel for him, but at the same time i am laughing so hard here! 🤣

Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu

Another dark horse anime that I hope gets a second season. I felt for Alina so much the whole season. Taking a job that should have been a simple 9-5 that turned into a mess of over time. Sadly many of us have been there in the adult world at least once and if I could just beat the shit out of someone in order to go home early that would have been number one on my list. 😠

That being said I am happy that it went even further with jade and the Silver Sword party and solving mysteries that not only affected Alina's over time, but threatened their world. Very important point there. We just found out there is an even nastier person behind all the monsters, new dungeons, as well as trying to revive the Dark God(s). Can we also talk about the ED although sometimes they played it as the OP which is honestly genius cause people will skip the ED at times so they would get to hear it. it was so adorable it made honorable mention in my Top Five OP/ED of this season!😊

That's it for my Friday Anime! I expect to have more this coming season since Friday is usually a day I get lambasted with anime, but who knows it might be like this season was too! Jaa ne!🤭

So one of my amazing readers gave me the best compliment on It;s Been Ten Fucking Years today. Not just this chapter, but as a whole.

“Honestly, I love the way you're telling the story. The time jumps and the progression are well done. I've seen people do that and not handle it well. It gets muddled or you feel like you're missing things. But not with you. It's good! 

Obviously them as kids is super sweet. Establishing the kindness and caring and connection there was a good move. It's one thing to TELL readers they've known one another forever, but an entirely different thing to SHOW them. Deepens a reader's bond to the characters immediately by making them feel more a part of their past. The church scene was great because there was immediate acceptance and love and no questions asked. And actually that carries over to the other chapters. They're just Frankie and Gee and they accept everything about the other, even if it's the other being with someone else because that's what makes them happy *in that moment*, but of course, the whole time, it's still obvious that it isn't just Lust they feel towards one another. These boys are soulmates, and they're working it out in their own very unique way.

You could very easily have gone with jealousy and cliché but you've avoided it and it's wonderful.

The way they turn to one another for everything important and take care of one another is awesome, and could have felt angsty...maybe that's not the right word, but it's the closest I can come while being as dehydrated and tired as I am, haha. It could have felt too tense. Like the subtext was being shouted at the reader instead of being allowed to just simmer and mature on it's own. We KNOW they're in love, and you're letting it grow naturally.

You've managed to write them being with other people in a way that doesn't just infuriate me, and that's tricky. Because sometimes you WANT something like that to piss off your audience, but in this case, I think again, it's something that deepens the reader's understanding of who these people are, and that they always come back to one another, always. And the total acceptance of one another is a theme that still carries through. And honestly, the last chapter brings that bit along with it while still being FUN, and of course, the bit with the piping bag is probably even better because, well, I was "there" for the inspiration and that amuses me to no end. “

I was crying at the end of it all.

Tuesday/Wednesday Anime Line Up

Since I only have a few anime on each day I decided to incorporate them like Fri/Sat. I'll only separate them if I want to talk more detail about one of the anime on that day. Okay onto the first one!😊

Aru Majo ga Shinu made

I was on the fence about this one but the third ep pretty much cemented it and funny enough there were no tears collected at all! it was more about meeting the people that will help Meg on her journey to collect them. I think that is what made it most enjoyable. As she collects more of them I think that will help me settle in even more.😁

Ballpark de Tsukamaete!

Every story just gets better and better I swear! We got to meet the announcer this ep and another one of the players and I hope that is a thing. They hinted but you never know with anime.😉

The other two let Reiko be a detective to try and figure out who the culprit of compliments was and the answer was even better than i had hoped! I was giggling so much at the end of the episode! So fun!🤭

Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyakuhakisareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru

This anime is fast becoming one of my Top Five for this season! I am constantly surprised how quickly it ends and how good each episode is! I just want the next one so fast cause I just want to know what is gonna happen! I've never been on the edge of my seat for this kind of anime before that was not full of action and suspense!😆

Uchuujin Muumuu

Did I just learn a basic DIY electronic lesson from an anime? With perfect step by step instructions and a safe environment? Yes. Yes I did and from an anime about idiot cats trying to rebuild the tech part of their society after they got rid of all the smart cats...well they are pretending to be cats at least.🧐

Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru?

The ending of each episode drives me crazy because we get like 30 seconds of the next ep after the ED and it is so frustrating cause we have to wait for it to be resolved! I wish it was just a flash moment PV instead cause that is less frustrating to wait for...for some reason.🤔

Your Forma

This anime is starting to blow I-Robot out of the water. The Ai and how they think and behave are so mind blowing! Like they are Ai as in having to watch another human attack another human and unable to do anything cause it violates the Three Laws of Robotics or rather Respect as its called here is insane. I can understand why they are not really thought out other than from a selfish perspective.😒

That's it for today! I'm looking forward to the next two days cause I have like three all together which gives me a chance to chill and watch older anime or write...hopefully.😓

Lost Weekend

So the past two days have been super rough for me. Because of my stress and anxiety i did not sleep Thursday night into Friday morning and had to cancel my aqua therapy that morning. Then I tried to fall asleep again and my oldest son's cat kept waking me up so I tossed him out. Then my alarm for 1025 went off that i forgot about. After that just little things kept interrupting me and I think I finally passed out at like noonish and woke up to my 3pm/1500 alarm to pick up my daughter at school. 😵

My D&D friend asked me if I would help her unpack her new place so I decided it was a good excuse to stop sleeping so I went and was paid with Italian food for dinner. After that I watched some anime that she needed to catch up on that I already watched and then pretty much passed out when I got home.

Saturday I went to work in the AM and pushed myself farther than I should have with my body pain and ended up in bad shape that I slept till like 9pm/2100 and calling in to work cause i could barely move. Now this morning I woke up to my second son giving me a breakfast sandwich which was delicious but put me to sleep again and when I finally got up it was 5pm/1700.

Spent since then catching up on all the anime that I missed so I can do my recaps and hopefully I can get real sleep tonight so that I don't miss physical therapy tomorrow.

What upsets me the most is I wasted a normal day off from sleeping and then an extra day off from work and got nothing done in the house and it makes me feel lazy and more depressed cause who else is gonna do it but me when the kids are at school/work?

I Don't Want to Go to Work Tomorrow

Watching random recipes on youtube as I try and decide if I want to go to work tomorrow. It is going to snow about 2 in. here and the schools are already closed but I still have work cause crazy people want bagels and soup in a damn snow storm apparently.🙄

I don't want to go but I already didn't go in yesterday cause I was so tired. Yeah full grown adults have those kind of days too. Plus my son's cat was making it hard to leave the bed so I blame him too.😅

Either way, it is no fun driving in the snow honestly and I know that we will hardly have any guests plus everyone else is going to call in so why should I be the only adult...over the age of 30 that shows up and get stuck there doing the work of 5 people or being made to clean something that no one has cleaned in months just cause I am there. Like 14 years at this place and i am still treated like the kids, no offense to anyone specific, that just started or have been there like a year. I've been there longer than all my managers for fuck sake!😒

Anyway so yeah, I really can't afford it especially since I don't know what is going on with my tax return or my daughter's survivor benefits thanks to Muskhole getting a hold of our personal info illegally, but I am just tired of being the grown up when my body feels more like a damn senior. I identify with Sophie so much. No wonder it's my fav Ghibli movie.😩

Rant over i guess and i'll go back to watching vids that make me smile and I guess i'll let you know if I decide to go in or not tomorrow.😞

Next Seasons Anime Interests🤔 April is just around the corner and so is the Spring Anime Season! Normally by this time I have watched the PV

Okay so here is the rest of my new anime list!

Once again waaaay too many amazing names in this anime so here is just a pic of them all!

This is the anime that everyone is excited for but unlike everyone else it is the seiyū line up that I am excited for!

I was bummed out that none of the characters in this anime were on the site to see. Still I'm going to give it a try.

I actually watched the sequel to this one, but I am a little disappointed that they didn't use the same seiyū s for it.

I'm just gonna say this. What would happen in Goblin Slayer and Mashle got together to have a conversation? Well both their seiyūs, Umehara Yuuichirou and Kobayashi Chiaki-san are in this one so that should be interesting! More importantly though is that my girl Takahashi Rei-san, the voice of my waifu, is one of the MCs Shiunji Ouka.

Another anime full of the new generation of seiyū. I like that there are so many this season in my watch list. It gives me a chance to add another to my list and maybe even eventually unseat on of my Top 20!

I need at least one Idol anime in my season and last seasons didn't hold me so hopefully this one will.

So my last on the list doesn't really have anyone that I know other than Matsuoka, Yoshitsugu-san, but even without the historical tag, this kind of anime hit a lot of my interests so I'm gonna give it a try.

Well that's my list thus far. It does change sometimes as I check out what other Anitubers are watching but other than that, this is the list that has to get through a 3 ep and 6 ep ruling in order to stay on the list. I actually started one today already that is on this list, but i will talk about it in a separate post. Jaa ne!🤗

Yes I Wrote It

Okay so apparently, I find out that people are in shock that I wrote                     Bondage Mansion. I assure you though I did. It was my first fic and oh Goddess, was a green. I mean if you look at the first 10 or 15 chapters, you can see that I had no idea what I was doing. I drove my betas crazy and I thought they were going to kill me. ^0^ By the 25th chapter, I was much better and making less mistakes and learning how to write other ships, thanks to my second fic, Darling. This one was much more lighthearted and a huge contrast to Bondage. It was nice though and i enjoyed going back and forth.

By the time i got to the 49th chapter, and yes, that chapter was alWays planned form the beginning and do not ask why I never mentioned it in the tags casue you all know the reason, NO ONE WOULD READ IT. AnyWay, I felt confident enough that I could write much more and even did the epilogue, which had nothing to do with the original hentai. It was nice to go off on my own fully and not have anything to fall back on.

The other fic I am most proud of is Housewife. This one i write with my lovely Geebear ***Digdeepenough*** who I truly enjoy callabing with still.

Penis Envy...Well Comments Actually

So I have a lot of fic in my memories from LJ and I not only read the fics, but all the comments and man are there usually a lot of them. I got into writing right before the band ended so I missed out on getting that kind of love and it kind of hurts.

People were more open to the stories back before 2012 and they talked about what they liked a lot more, along with what they didn’t. They gave constructive criticism and the writer gave them cookies for it. ^0^

I think that people are more reserved in their comments now because much of the writing is about smut and porn and to find the ones with plot and relatable characters is harder now. Although I write my fair share of NC-17 scenes and stores, I do try and create plot and characters that ask you to care for them. i am trying that with a few of my stories now and leaving the NC-17 ones to the less than six chapters I think.

I am hoping that more readers will come out and be honest about what they read and what they would like to read in the future. ^-^

This underrated anime just keeps getting better and better as the season goes on and the guests get more and more interesting as we go! Finding out more about the main characters is really my fav moment in each ep though.🤭

The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season

So I saw someone complaining that all they ever do in this anime is try to kill the higher concubines and Maomao and Jinshi just figure out how and why. Um...yeah cause that how it was back then. Not the figuring out part cause honestly no one was worried about that as much, but it was that cut throat and honestly the Emperor could not give a shit like he kind of does in this one. That's why they had so many concubines cause there was always another one to take their place.😓

Maple is probably my fav character next to our protag in this series. I just love how sweet and innocent she is and it was nice to see her in the spot light in this weeks ep! Also can't wait till we take down that Holy Light Goddess cause man our girl Nyon is so much better!😤

Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte

It was a really good end to this arc and I loved that there was a plausible reason for spontaneous combustion cause I know that has been a thing in history but i have never heard of it from a medical POV!😲

Tomorrow is my big day! 7+ anime and I have D&D...well maybe cause with this storm coming who knows!😵
