I am a Schediasexual. I feel true emotional connections of love to animated/fictional characters. I have been this way as long as I can remember. I am not ashamed of that. It is not a mental disorder. I do not need to seek help. There is nothing wrong with me. I am not a bad person. I am not stupid or ridiculous. I shed tears over them just like anyone does over someone they care deeply about. I’m not delusional, I know they are not real. I know I will never get to touch, hug or kiss them. And it hurts, but I cope as best I can. What I need is for you understand me, listen to me when I talk about them. Don’t roll your eyes are me, ignore me, dismiss me or call me childish. Accept me as I am. It makes me happy, it makes me smile to share my love of them. Since I will never truly have them, I have to make due. But just please, don’t undermine me. There are a lot of us, we are just not recognized or we are afraid to be known. We don’t want to be bullied. We just want to be allowed to love who we love.

What movie would he pick for a movie night?

He isn’t the Love Cook for nothing. Sanji would pick a romantic movie if he is given a choice. But he really makes sure his S/O should enjoy the movie with him, so he would try to watch a movie of their preferred genre. He would try to explore different types of movies his S/O likes. Of course, his S/O loves him, so they would also would try to watch his selected movies. They both would take turns and would cover most genres during this time. Maybe they both would discover a similar genre which they both fall in love with.
