Mom and Dad weren't exactly thrilled I enrolled at an HBCU after high school, but I wanted the full college experience. I learned so much my freshman year and the parties were absolutely lit! There were so many gorgeous guys, but usually, they didn't ask me on a traditional "date." Usually, they text me to come over to their apartment and "hang out."
