Dick Grayson in Young Justice: Outsiders
I really hope that the Lazarus Tournament in Robin (2021) is gonna be extra af with a red carpet before the event, interviews with participants, a sassy commentator, a screaming audience and a cute mascot.
Catalyst of Change.
wear a different perfume when you commit murder fuckin amateurs
It was supposed to be a calm day, the plan was to go to New York, bought a bit of things for the camp, and came back, they were with an Apollo kid, a young girl, the three of them going to a pharmacy.
When a cyclops consider a good idea to chase them, the girl drove away in the camp van, Leo, stubbornly, being at his side, holding a big hammer, made of celestial bronze, the fire going through his hands.
“You know, cyclops are fireproof”
Rising his sword, a lighting came to earth, striking the cyclops, who yelled, but no hurt, angry.
“You know” mocked Leo “Cyclops are lighting proof”
Rolling his eyes, Jason launched himself to the monster, the gladius in his hand, Leo at his side, holding the hammer, a crazy smile on his lips, but they where to focus on the cyclops, they didn’t notice the dracaena, slytherin from the shadows, stabbing Leo on the back.
Another lighting came from the sky, striking the serpent woman, pulverizing her, while Leo felt, grinning.
“Oh gods, you are hurt”
“If you didn’t tell me, I wouldn't notice”
The white t-shirt started to get bloody, a red patch growing, Jason kneeled at his side, scooping him and flying to the camp, the Apollo’s daughter driving like a crazy, almost causing an accident.
“You’re my hero, my saving Grace” whispered Leo, holding Jason’s neck.
“I’ve heard enough bad jokes about my last name, sotp it”
“No no, I can make more jokes, you will feel graced by my friendship”
“Leo…”
“You fly in such a graced way”
“I will throw you”
“I’m graced by the gods, I won’t die”
“You can’t come back twice”
thought I’d share this with tumblr too because I think I’m funny
When Jason woke up on a school bus, not memories, a handsome boy playing with his hair saying he was his boyfriend, a pretty girl looking at the window, declaring herself as his best friend.
Then things got weird, their schoolmate was a cloud, trying to kill them, the coach was a satyr, he could fly.
When the angry blonde girl carried them in a chariot, he was lost, Piper and Leo were looking at him, the boy holding his hand, warm.
Then Jun… no Hera, sending them on a mission, Leo over a mechanic dragon, looking really hot, they traveling to save the goddess.
And now, mid-January, Leo and him were sitting near Hestia's fire, having a date, Jason playing with the fog, making figures, Leo jiggling.
Focus on each other, they didn't notice the shadows blooming in front of them, a boy stepping out, falling on his knees, wheezing, rolling to his side.
"Are you okay, kid?"
The boy growled, raising his head, an angel face looking at them, raven hair, pale skin, big and dark eyes, full rosy lips.
"I'm not a kid." Said the boy, with an adorable Italian accent.
Raising on his feet, the boy kept sending bad looks at them.
"I'm sorry, " said Jason "I'm…"
"I know you're the roman boy, and the both of you saved Hera."
His tone was bitter like he didn't like Hera.
"If you talk that angry about a goddess things won't go well."
"She didn't care about me being sealed to the Titan army."
"She tried to kill me when I was a toddler, we're on the same boat." Leo winked, patting the bench at his side "Come her, least talk about annoying gods."
"I'm Nico, by the way"

This is by no means an effort to mass-educate, or make an “all-inclusive” list (that doesn’t exist, btw). It’s me sharing with other nonwhite teens things that have helped me understand myself and show that you are able to reconnect with and embrace yourself. In summary, this is a list of stories by POC who have learned to love themselves and their backgrounds.
