I’m very excited to reveal the prompts for 12 Days of Winter Whumperland!

As usual, any form of creation - art, writing, gifsets, fandom, oc, etc – is welcome.

The prompts are meant as jumping-off points and are completely open to interpretation. You can take inspiration from one or more of each day’s prompts, and be as literal or figurative as you like!

The event will run from December 12 - December 23.

The event tag will be #AMOW Winter Whumperland for the main tag; the daily tags will be #12wwday.1, #12wwday.2, etc. I will check the main and daily tags each day for the duration of the event.

You can also mention @amonthofwhump​ in your post to have your creations reblogged to this page; I will not check the tags after the event ends but if you post after the 23rd and mention this blog I will see it!

i’ve been thinking abt nico having like ????  a greek god name or something (bc using his regular name just sounds awkward to me kdsjjkfjkfd) and turns out, there’s a chthonic deity named angelos/angelia who was the daughter of zeus/hera that was raised by nymphs and was the spirit of messages, tidings, and proclamations….basically I was like Wait he could pull a helios/selene –> apollo/artemis / pan –> grover type deal where he inherits her role ig ???? like he’s already plays the role of an ambassador, he always brings information that is important to the heroes, etc.

the sad part is is that she pretty much only exists in one greek text…i kinda wanna write or at least make some notes abt these two; like them bonding and angelos/angelia passing over her role to him as she fades away, reminding him that she won’t be forgotten since she lives on thru him/his last name (the word ‘angel’ derives from the greek word for it i think ??)

idk this is pretty self indulgent just ignore me
