The Under Used Adorable Prompt/Trope

The Under Used Adorable Prompt/Trope

Hi yes I’d like to make a formal complaint to the tumblr writing community?

The trope of light tickles is incredibly underused and under appreciated!

Examples:

Lightly tickling someone while their asleep so they do that sleepy/dopey smile and wake up giggling

When person A is trying to be mad at person B, so person B tickles person A juuuust enough to make not smiling hard, while teasing them until they eventually crack a smile

Person A absentmindedly tracing random shapes on person B, bonus if it’s on their palm

Something causes person A to cry, so person B comforts them, and then tickles them just to help/see them smile again.

Person A claiming they arent ticklish, but instead of person B tickling them alot right off the bat, they slowly tickle more and more while person A struggles to hold out as it gets worse untill they eventually crack.

Super light kisses on skin that tickle and make the person squirm, (usually on neck or stomach)

Person A focusing on something while person B is being needy trying to get their attention, so person B lightly tickles person A, who struggles to ignore person B now until they finally crack.

Person A absentmindedly drawing shapes on Person B, who finds it adorable. However, person B is really ticklish, so they have to try really hard not to squirm or laugh and ultimately disturb person A, who is adorable when they are off on their own world. At some point though, person A notices what they and person B are doing, and now tickles on purpose to see how much they can get away with.

Ear/Neck tickles.

Person A complaining they hate their laugh, much to the disagreement and annoyance of person B. So person B lightly tickles them just to get Person A giggling so they cant disagree with all the compliments person B continues to give them.

Person A challenges Person B to a round of video games, claiming they can beat their score. The winner gets an agreed on prize. However on Person B’s turn, Person A begins tickling them just lightly enough to be distracting, so person B ends up loosing.

Person A doodling with a marker on Person B, but they’re too ticklish and are struggling to stay still, and mess the drawing up so Person A has to restart.

Similar idea as previous prompt. Person A is doing Person B’s makeup, but the makeup brushes tickle and they are struggling to stay still, much to A’s chagrin and amusement, causing them to have to continually redo things. (Can also be done with things like body paint)

Not really tickling but Person A brushing Person B’s hair and Person B accidentally falls asleep.

Person A doesn’t like their smile, so they always cover it when they laugh, much to Person B’s disappointment. In retaliation, Person B starts lightly tickling Person A, who covers their smile, but it means they cant use their hands to stop Person B’s tickles, as they slowly get worse and worse and Person A eventually breaks

The classic Person A gets stuck and Person B takes advantage of it to tickle them

Using tickles to help tire someone out so they can sleep, (A great way to get a persons mind off a previous nightmare and cheer them up too)

—TIPS:

All of these are meant to be light or medium tickles, more so giggling and squirming and not screaming and thrashing. Few people enjoyed being tickled that rough, many hate it. Keeping the tickles light and bearable so the other person secretly has fun too makes the situation way cuter

Scientifically speaking, laughter, even forced laughter, triggers the release of dopamine in the brain. Being tickled actually does help someone who is depressed or upset feel happier.

It’s always sweet when Person A can tell when Person B is tired and has had enough and they stop before pushing them too far

Teasing. Teasing the person who’s being tickled and cant argue back 10/10

Many people find super light tickles soothing, like when someone traces on your back gently, these are also cute.

When tickles boarder right on the line between soothing and actually tickling and Person A can’t decide whether they like it or not. Bonus if person B is aware and enjoys tormenting the other.

Person B saying they will stop tickling when Person A agrees with them/repeats something they say. Example: “I’ll stop when you admit how cute you are!” (Even in this scenario, avoid thrashing rough actual torturous tickles, you want person A to cave rather then actually being forced by desperation for person B to stop)

Please share to help me correct this crime against humanity! ♡

Kiss prompts ! ( Fictional kisses I heart pt 2 )

I present more kiss ideas! Because everyone loves kisses and especially my fellow writers . Hehe~

Whispering " I love you " between kisses before kissing them passionately / deeply.

Break up kisses . ( Like where your otp is ending their relationship but they decide to end it with a last kiss? , pouring their emotions into it and probably mingling with tears because they have to let this beautiful person go ) angst but yh...

Placing a gentle kiss on their temple .

Kissing their fingers / fingertips.

When they smile and mumble " I love you / I love you so much" against their lips .

Caressing their cheeks before leaning in to kiss them .

Grabbing or cupping their face and kissing them .

Glancing or staring at their lover's lip and unconsciously biting their lip before a kiss.

Moaning into kiss when their lover kisses them.

Kissing the crook of their neck.

Caressing their lips/ face before or after they kiss.

Hesitant gentle kisses that slowly become passionate and they pull their lover closer , devouring their lips.

Kisses that one uses to seek attention. ( Like their lover is working or on the phone or doing something and they try to distract them by kissing their cheek /neck or shoulder )

Sitting on their lap when making out.

Intentionally teasing their lover by brushing their lips against theirs / neck / ear .

Kissing below their ear / earlobe.

Leaning their head against each other , panting after a passionate make out session.

When they hold hands , intertwining/ interlacing their fingers during the kiss .

Angst last kiss . Where their lover is on the brink of death and they kiss them for the last time , lips quivering , tears mingling as they feel their warm lips and hold them for the last time .

Brushing their thumb over their lip / caressing their lip before kissing them or after.

A tight hug followed by a sweet kiss..

When they kiss their sleeping lover. Like they're trying to wake them up with kisses or giving them good night kisses.

When they hoarsely / seductively say" kiss me "

The ones where they wrap their arms around them and smile , looking at their f/o like they're the most precious thing they've ever seen before kissing them lovingly.

When they kiss their lover impulsively because they're so damn cute / adorable.

Kissing their wrist .

Kissing the palm of their hand.

Cupping their face and gently pressing their lips to their forehead and staying like that for a few seconds . ( Sweet forehead kisses~)

A kiss meant as an apology .

“Just relax~”

“Don’t hold back - I want to hear you.”

“We can leave the lights off if it’d help you relax more…”

“P-Please… ?”

“Stop teasing…”

“You’re doing well…”

“If you change your mind, just tell me when to stop.”

“Is this too much?”

“Is it okay if I touch you there?”

“I’m sorry, I can’t do this.”

“I’m nervous.”

“I’m your personal canvas~”

“Don’t make me beg.”

“Should I pull out?”

“How’s that feel?”

“Is this alright?”

“Put these on.”

“Has anyone ever gone down on you?”

“Have you… done this? Before?”

“No. Keep the curtains open.”

“Do you prefer top or bottom?”

“Shh, someone’s gonna hear…”

“Let me see your face.”

“I’m really sensitive…”

“C’mon, tighter. A baby could get out of these.”

“N-Not there… !”

“I want you to look at me when you cum.”

“Ah, ah, not yet. You aren’t allowed.”

“Yes, Master…”

“How does it taste?”

“Y’know, I’m really good with my tongue…”

“When… did you buy those?”

“What… in the hell are you wearing?”

“That tickles!”

Enemies to lovers flirting prompts

“ you said you'd kill me, amongst other things... “

“ you've got a dagger pointed at my heart. “

“ if you're telling the truth, if you're so convinced you'll kill me... do it. “

“ you're not one to trust. “ “ what if you could trust me? “ “ i can't. and i won't. “

“ i know better. “ “ do you? or are you simply trying to convince yourself you're better than you truly are? “

“ even after everything we've been through, you still can't find it in your heart to trust me? “

“ you do realize that if i push that dashing little dagger into your heart, your father will put a hit on my own? “

“ looks like you’re going to have to prove yourself worthy of my time. “

“ kiss me. “ “ oh, thank fuck... “

“ do you have your gun? “ [beat] “ that's not a gun. “ “ shoots just like one. “

“ i decided to spare your life, but now you're pushing it. “

“ because i know, that somewhere, deep down, in that heinous heart of yours... there's a part of you that still cares. and i'm not giving up before i find it. “

“ you do better than to walk away. “ “ you're right. i should have walked away a long time ago. “

“ you’ve won me over, again. who knew you could be so charming? “

“ last night was a mistake. i'm serious, i won't go there again. “ “ you're already here, love. “

“ i really don't think this is necessary. “ “ just a precaution, darling. “

“ i don't need to be lectured. especially not by you. “

“ your absence from [location] made me forget how utterly dreadful you are. “

“ of course, we can't forget how you let [antagonist] kidnap and torture the information out of you. had you been smart, you would have negotiated your way out of it. “

“ what do you want? “ “ you. all of you. tonight. “

“ you shouldn't be here. “ “ just say the world and i'll go. “ [beat] “ you don't want me to [leave], do you? “

“ look, i know we're not... friends, but... i don't have anywhere else to go. “

“ you hurt? “ “ moderately. “ “ let me take a look. “

“ stay, for as long as you need. we can go back to hating each other tomorrow. “

“ like i said, they're allies, not friends. you on the other hand, might qualify as one. “

“ sometimes your allies are a liability, and you have to blow a limb or two. “

“ you look beautiful. “ “ don't bother, your lies don't bite. “

“ this is very unattractive behavior. i can see why you're single. “

“ you could take his ring, but not my peace offering? consider my heart broken. “

“ looks like you've finally turned me into the monster you always wanted. congratulations. “

“ if you truly wanted me dead, i'd already be six feet under. “

“ actually, there's not a whole lot i would do for you. expect maybe get down on my knees. “

“ i'm gonna kill you. “ “ go right ahead, love. “

“ go to hell. “ “ i'm sure the devil will greet us both with open arms. “

“ you killed an innocent man? who killed him? “ [locks at their enemy]. “ of course you did. “

Enjoy.

writing prompts for writers with no motivation

pick a topic you know nothing about and write about it like you’re the expert. just make stuff up. Tell us all about the complicated history of scissors or whatever and how left handed scissors were banned by the Catholic Church until 1978, or something

Create completely over-the-top self indulgent OC’s. Write about the magical half-unicorn witch with rainbow hair and sparkly purple eyes that you wanted to be when you were 14.

Write a negative review of a book that doesn’t exist. Just make stuff up off the top of your head to complain about.

Write smut, but like, intentionally bad smut. make it as unsexy/pretentious/purple/unrealistic as possible. Find the most convoluted metaphors for your characters’ genitalia that you can possibly conceive of.

pick two of any kind of work of fiction (movies, books, etc) and come up with an “X meets Y” style blurb for a hypothetical work of fiction that...in theory??...meets the two in the middle.

lists of names in a specific style, but they get progressively more ridiculous. examples: pirates, supervillains, Vikings, Fantasy(tm) taverns, puritans, settings on a Fantasy(tm) map, boybands, YA dystopian protagonists, warrior cats, any category you can find on a name generator website really

Make up some unhinged political opinion or conspiracy theory for a fantasy setting. spend a paragraph in the persona of some elf antivaxxer arguing that wizard staffs make you gay

make titles (and if you want, synopses) for books that don’t exist. you can base them on real books if you want

write fake sayings, inspirational quotes, fortune-cookie sayings. Make them sound almost like they mean something at first glance but they’re incomprehensible when you try to delve into them. Or make them just weird.

In a similar vein as the SCP Wiki’s Log of Anomalous Items, come up with magical or “anomalous” versions of everyday objects. You can start with stuff on your desk if you like. Water bottles that fill up with horseshoe crab blood if left unattended. or whatever. Include details on where they were found if you want.

write about questionable super heroes with weird or overly specific powers. Like the little known Blue Footed Booby Man

write a “horror” story or creepypasta but it’s like...as stupid and not-scary as possible. Dont just depend on “the twist/scary thing is super cliche and predictable” for it either, see how you can take an actually effective concept and make it unbearably dumb

invent swear words/insults, the more complex the better

plagiarize. By this I mean write something that’s completely made from sentences from other things and try to make it coherent

write one (1) scene from the most outrageously cool and epic hypothetical story you can imagine. just try to cram as many references to magical flying wolf bounty hunters and inter-dimensional dragon priests and time traveling samurai as you can with literally no regard for anything

Take a sentence or paragraph and replace every word you can in it with a synonym. either try to make it as weird and uncomfortable as possible, or just keep doing this in a telephone game sort of fashion until it’s no longer comprehensible.
