Scrybruary Week 1: Worldbuilding

I’d recommend following the tag “scrybruary” (don’t forget the second r after the b!) or searching up the term every few days to see what posts come up. There’s actually a third work written by @stupid-idiot-gamer​ which you can read HERE that actually happens to be the first fic written for this challenge! Keep an eye out on Tumblr and AO3 and like hrokkall said, you can join in any time yourself - there’s no real time limit here!

Not quite sure what you’re asking here, but I’ll try to answer:

If you’re asking for a compilation of works written for Scrybruary so far, I’ve only seen two (those being Nat’s—which I’ve reblogged—and my own.) There might be more but admittedly I haven’t been too diligent with checking the tags. If anyone wants to add on to this post stating that they also have an entry feel free.

If you’re asking about the prompts/event as a whole, that list can be found here along with event details! We’re on week 2, but there aren’t any hard-and-fast deadlines; it’s just meant to get creativity flowing.

If you have any questions, there’s a discord link there/if that’s too intimidating I’d recommend asking @determunition or @naturallydark directly—they’re the ones hosting this whole thing

This weekend, I was morphed! Transformed! into the great wizard Magnificus at the KCC! After I cosplayed Leshy last year, I knew I had to cosplay my favourite Scrybe next. It was super fun getting to meet with other Inscryption cosplayers and roam around together as a little indie game posse :3 Bonus pics below the cut!

it's time once more for INSCRYPTOBER! the annual art/writing-based inscryption event for the fandom to get creative and share cool art and writing for the spooky season!

just like last year, we have one theme per week! though these themes are explained in the post above, you may take any degree of creative license that you like in carrying them out; and, of course, there's no lower limit on participation. like last year, i'll likely be doing one or two art pieces a week, and you all can choose to participate as much or as little as you'd like depending on your own schedules and creative stamina! this event is for fun, not stress ^^

i've been seeing some hype already for this year's event, so i'm super excited to see what everyone creates!

Corruption:

To start off, we’re getting [DATA REDACTED]! Inscryption is full of corrupted data, characters, and video game companies! ‘Tis the week for some evil, broken biz to go down!

Week 2 - Oct 8-14

Cinema:

The pop culture pandemonium week! Put your fave scrybes in your fave movie, make a poster for an Inscryption film of any genre, or just try out a cinematic composition or two!

Week 3 - Oct 15-21

Ancient History:

OLD_DATA, and old secrets…this is the week to explore Inscryption’s mysterious past, both within the disk and outside of it!

Week 4 - Oct 22-28

Switcheroo:

The swap week! Swap up the scrybes, swap up the story, or anything else you like; the goal with this one is to switch it up!

Bonus - Oct 29-31

Harvest:

It’s Halloween time! Whether spooky or cozy, these days are your free space to get some autumn vibes going for the height of the holiday!
