The main four nightmares take inspiration from the book versions of the wild things, mostly in terms of proportions and poses. They're meant to evoke the kind of puppets William used to make for children's TV before Freddy's, with those glowing eyes from the movie. His Freddles are three little mechanized bears with drums, which they make a real racket with. Mike has nicknamed them Alvin, Simon, and Theodore because he doesn't like them.
Nightmare Balloon boy is a puppet of Mike himself when he was younger, accompanied by a little plush rabbit that was probably a prototype for Spring Bonnie before he was scaled up to be a suit, I don't know yet. Nightmare Mangle is based on those piles of clothes that look like figures at night, also a bit of inspiration from Rosco (Hello Puppets). Her many limbs are surplus puppet parts.
Nightmarrione is the only one who doesn't fit the theme, and that's because William didn't make this guy! It made itself. :)
Old drawings where I designed a crappy costume for Venom after hearing his suggestion on that beach scene in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
What was I doing?
Oh yeah. just gonna post these doodles of Tails.
I noticed I always draw him a lil more taller than he is in official designs. I don't know why.
And because I was bored, I decided to draw a dumber, older version of him. Someone suggested me to name him Nails.
But anyways that's all for now, until we met again.

He can't stop thinking about Freddy 💖🔥
Left: (KevinBilly) The original and most well-known Billy Bat of this trio, drew by Kevin Yagamata. He is a noir hard-boiled detective adventurer. He is featured in most of the chapters, and (in universe) his comic books. Middle: (ChuckBilly) Drew by Chuck Culkin. He was in charge of the Billy Bat's run when Kevin Yagamaya fleed to Japan. His version was mocked and criticized by the fans for being so different of the one they are used to. His looks and personality are clearly based on Mickey Mouse. Right: (Silver Bat) This one appears on an alternative reality drew for someone. This one takes inspirations from the first superheroes that were created in the 30s, mostly from Gold Bat. Maybe I could make a blog out of this, writing some stories surrounding them.
I'm Off, and hope we feel our presences again. -Noon-E
