This is the Whale Galaxy! π³π³π³
This galaxyβs strange shape comes from interactions with a smaller dwarf galaxy seen above it. This has resulted in high numbers of supernovae from rapid star formation blow wind and dust out of the galaxy in aΒ βsuperwindβ! β¨β¨β¨

This is another photo of the Jupiter Saturn Conjunction! πͺπͺπͺ
The two planets are getting closer each day! I love this picture because you can clearly see Jupiterβs 4 largest moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto) and a nice view of Saturn. This event is very rare - Jupiter and Saturn are the closest since the year 1623! β¨β¨β¨

This is the Skull Nebula! πππ
The glow of this eerie nebula is perfect for Halloween! This planetary nebula has a binary star system with a third star orbiting it. The beautiful colors of this nebula come from the outer layers of a Sun-like star that died in an explosion! π»π»π»

One of the most difficult collections ever: the Caldwell object collection! β₯β₯β₯
Taking around 6 months to complete, this was one of the longest collections ever! Many of these objects could be photographed during specific times of the year so I often had to wait months before I could take a picture. πππβ¨π«

This is the Box Nebula AKA The Little Gem Nebula! π¦ π π¦ π π¦π
Although this planetary nebula may look small, itβs around 4 light years across! The unusual shape may be due to its orientation to usβ¦ πππ
