This is the Blue Moon! 🌝✨🌝✨🌝✨
A blue moon occurs when there are more than 1 full moon per month (it’s not actually blue 😭). We were lucky to have it on Halloween since this occurrence is pretty rare: the next time there will be a blue moon on Halloween is 19 years from now! 👻🎃🦇🍬🍭🍫

This is the Flame Nebula! 🔥🔥🔥
The vibrant clumps of gas in this nebula are assumed to be proplyds, which are disks of gas around young stars that may form planets. This appears to be common all throughout the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, which not only includes the Flame Nebula but also other famous nebulae like the Horsehead Nebula and the Orion Nebula! ✨✨✨

My favorite nebula ever! I always use this for my profile pictures 😂😂😂

This is the Orion Nebula! ✨✨✨
Thought to be a cosmic fire of creation by the Mayans, the Orion Nebula’s bright, vibrant colors come from the massive stars in the open star cluster at the center of the nebula. This star forming region is giving birth to thousands of stars, each of them only a few million years old! 💫💫💫

This is the Rosette Nebula! 🌹🌹🌹
This is definitely the best image I have taken of this giant molecular cloud! This nebula is a star forming region with hot, blue newborn stars at its center that is shaping this region to form a beautiful flower-like shape. As seen from Earth, this nebula appears almost 5 times larger than the full Moon! ✨✨✨

This is the Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula! 🎄🎄🎄
It’s the holiday season! The Christmas Tree Cluster takes up the bulk of this image with its bright, young stars that illuminate the surrounding dust. The Cone Nebula is much smaller and is the protruding cone-shaped item at the mid-bottom leftish of the image with its dark, absorbing gas! ✨✨✨
