This is Comet PanSTARRS! ๐ ๐ ๐
This gif was created throughout the night of July 25th and you can see the potentially interstellar comet in motion.ย

This is the Lobster Nebula!ย ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Despite this creative name, there were multiple petitions to change this nebulaโs name to the Madokami Nebula (named after a character in the anime Madoka Magica) and the War and Peace Nebula (named after its resemblance to a skull and dove). The core of the nebula is the Pismis-24 cluster containing very massive stars up to 100 solar masses each! โจโจโจ

This is theย Pleiades! ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
This stunning cluster is the nearest object in the Messier catalog to Earth and is easily visible in the night sky. Each of these stars are almost 40 times brighter than our Sun and are surrounded by a reflection nebula! ๐๐๐

This is the Gabriela Mistral Nebula! ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
Gabriela Mistral is a Chilean poet who was the first Latin American author to win a Nobel Prize in Literature. This nebula has her name because some believe that it resembles her (I honestly donโt know why ๐). Millions of years ago, a deposit of gas resulted in a surge of star formation that heats up and radiates this region today! โจโจโจ

This is the Triangulum Galaxy! ๐๐๐
Despite being a spiral galaxy, the Triangulum Galaxy has very little star formation as shown through infrared observations from the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE). However, a region known as NGC 604 is the largest stellar nursery between itself, the Milky Way, and the Andromeda Galaxy! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ

This is the Lunar Eclipse of May 15th, 2022! ๐๐๐
As the Earthโs shadow covers the Moon, it appears to disappear into darkness. This is just one of 85 lunar eclipses that will occur in the 21st century. If you missed this one, donโt worry! The next total lunar eclipse will occur on November 8th, 2022. ๐๐โจ

This is the Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula! ๐๐๐
Itโs the holiday season! The Christmas Tree Cluster takes up the bulk of this image with its bright, young stars that illuminate the surrounding dust. The Cone Nebula is much smaller and is the protruding cone-shaped item at the mid-bottom leftish of the image with its dark, absorbing gas! โจโจโจ
