On 18 May 1980, Ian Curtis of Joy Division was found hanged. It was the eve of their proposed visit to America. He left behind a suicide note which read:

“At this moment I wish I were dead. I just can’t cope anymore.”

Everyone, please, go watch La Sociedad de la Nieve (Society of the Snow). It's such a deeply moving and powerful movie, hopeful yet heartbreaking, about the Tragedy of the Andes. All the cast (Uruguayan and Argentinean actors) did a phenomenal and extraordinary job (lost count of the times I cried while watching the film), and Bayona's work is incredible.
