Saying that Dumbledore had to trick, force, coerce, manipulate, or anything else along those lines to get the marauders to join the Order of the Phoenix hugely takes away the marauders powerful desire to fight fascism, and their disdain for Voldemort’s rhetoric and those that followed it.

Those are core tenants of who they are.

They, and the rest of the Order, signed up as adults to fight an ideological war that would see the people they loved and cared about killed or, frankly, worse.

Will never not be upset when people hate on and are rude about the genderfluid/transfem/feminine Sirius headcanons.

I genuinely don't understand why people get so peeved off about it,"it's just to make Wolfstar straight", no it's not, it's for representation, it's because people see themselves in Sirius, it's because the person who created him is a raging terf, or maybe it's just because that's how some people imagine him in their heads, and there is nothing wrong with that. (The only situation i can accept this complaint in is when it's cis woman Sirius x cis man Remus, but otherwise who cares?? Making characters trans doesn't hurt anyone.) Making Sirius genderfluid/transfem/feminine also doesn't take away their queerness and the queerness of their relationship, Sirius is still queer, Remus is still queer, it's not a straight relationship. It's also not something worth sending people death threaths over, I too see headcanons that I don't like, but I just scroll, or I hit not interested and maybe block if it's something like that (that' literally their purpose, interacting with a post you don't like will just get more posts like that on your dash), it's literally not that hard to not be a fucking asshole, it's basic fandom etiquette.

Also this is just my opinion, but I think the gender non-conforming Sirius headcanon makes so much sense for who he is as a character.

(My Sirius has been genderfluid (he/she/they) for literal years, I'm not going to change my opinion just because someone sends a hateful comment. I also really love t4t Wolfstar, I love headcanoning Remus as genderqueer/transmasc, I kick my feet everytime i think about them.)

(Also this post's purpose isn't to send hate to people who headcanon Sirius as a cis man, if that's how you see him, that's completely valid.)

remus is in pain like 99% of the time, but there's times where it truly gets unbearable, when he cant take a step without needing to take deep breaths to stop himself from crying.

he gets so snappy at everyone when he's in pain. and then even more so because he feels guilty for being mad in the first place.

but he also forgets to take any pain medicine etc especially when he has no access to special potions, because it all wears off too quickly, or the cheap paracetamol just doesnt even work so what's the point?

he's meant to do stretches and other exercises for his hip but he just doesnt do them even though he knows that they will help, yet when he lays in bed reading a book, the last thing he wants to do is remind himself of how much it hurts by doing stupid exercises. his friends, his parents, the nurse always ask or remind him to do them and he just huffs at them and gets defensive because he's sick of hearing about it (and def feels guilty that he doesnt do them)

he gets so angry and so overwhelmed and his hands start to shake with the pain and he starts to spit with his angry words and it's ugly and he wonders why his friends still stick around

My followers know I hate talking about politics and current events, and generally refuse to do so, but this is important.

A bill has been introduced in the US that would make all pornography a federal crime. Owning it. Creating it. Distributing it.

Under this law, fanart of nude characters would be a federal crime.

Under this law, depictions of homosexuality or simply being transgender, would be considered pornography and a federal crime.

This bill is not going to pass.

However, the reason for this bill is to continue to push the "overton window". The reason for this bill is to make banning pornography seem more and more normal to everyone until they can actually do that.

And remember, they consider depictions of gay characters and transgenders characters "pornography" in any context, including platonic.

They have been working on this for a decade now and it has been working.

If you are one of the people in fandom who thinks that "nasty" porn on AO3 should be banned because it's "icky" or "immoral", then this mental scam is working on you.

Censorship is never about protecting people.

Censorship is always about control.

Do not let the rising moral panic affect your mind and make you weak to propaganda that lets others control you and control what you watch and read.

Do not fall for the scam.

When they say they are going to ban "pornography" it means they're going to ban anything they don't like by calling it "pornography" and they don't like you!!
