I want to emphasize that Puen & Talay had a mutual love at first sight moment.

These are the only cases where Kim is thinking about Chay as the boy he loves & not a source of information. Which is why he's acting based on emotions & not a well thought plan.

In the third picture he's visibly disturbed for someone who mostly comes across as stoic.

It also explains why an unexpressive person like Kim's first response is violence. If we look at what he did at the club, (4th pic) he need not have the been the person to hit first.

Thus he's channeling his emotions into music, his outlet, and not necessarily acting upon them. He's just transferring it from one cage to another.

He still has a chain on when he breaks Porchay's heart. This is interesting. Because this particular breakup in sandwiched between the 2 times Kim rescued Chay. Which makes his vague apology in this scene seem like : "I'm sorry (it's for the best) or I'm sorry (you'll not understand my greater cause)"

But it does show he's conflicted & hiding emotions.

The fourth picture is probably the thickest chain he's worn in the series. Understandably so because it's almost impossible to NOT melt in that situation 😭

How can someone stand without confessing their love for Porchay. When he's being an obedient student turning in homework. And serenading you at your door. In broad daylight. With the first love song he's ever written. For you.

Also, the fact that other contestants would not blame him for "favoritism", since they had seen him interacting with the band before the competition.

Like, the boy knows that he is not that close with Gun to help him in any other way than the whole tsundere thing.
