âą
Peter lays on his bed, his head wondering to the night before.
Your naked body remains imprinted in his head like a picture, he can remember every detail about.
Your curves, your breasts that he wouldâve respectfully grabbed if you let himâif Lauren wasnât there watching in horror, and your cute ass.
If you told him to get on his knees, kiss your ankles and go down on you, he would do it in an instantâif Lauren wasnât there.
Peter came to the conclusion at that very moment that he wantedâneeded you in his arms at all times.
He didnât want to just have sex, he wanted to be your boyfriend and treat you like how you should be treated.
Anytime you crossed his mind, his face would heat up and heâd start smiling and kicking his feet like a schoolgirlâit was pissing him off.
You guys always made it clear that you enjoyed being friends and taunting each other for fun.
You both argue too much and are constantly at each otherâs throats, something romantic could never happenâŠright?
You hadnât spoken to him since youâŠflashed him with Lauren being there. You were too embarrassed to leave your room after that, refusing to leave your room until Lauren had left and broke contact with Peter.
Deciding to swallow down your worry and embarrassment, you hesitantly knocked on Peterâs door,
âCome in!â Opening the door, you slapped your hand on your closed eyes,
âYou donât have to cover your eyes, y/n. I told you to come inâ Peter stated, pretending to be annoyed at your presence even though he was actually waiting for you to come talk to him since the incident,
âSorry! Just thought weâve both seen enough nudity these past couple of daysâ Peter let out a chuckle and nodded, sitting at the edge of his bed with his arms crossed and his legs man spreading, looking up at you,
âI came in here to umâtalk?â He raised an eyebrow and smirked,
âTalk?â You nodded and whistled, looking around his room awkwardly,
âYep!â He sat there, waiting for you to say something, his head cockily tilting to the side,
âYour probably wondering why I was laying naked on the floor in your bedroom last nightâ You said.
He nodded and pursed his lips, hiding a smile,
âYou cock blocked me and scared away a poor, innocent girlâ He said, laughing. Rolling your eyes, you slapped his chest,
âI know! I feel so bad. Sheâll forever know me as the scary naked girl who was hiding in her sneaky linkâs bedroomâ He shook his head and laughed again,
âI was trying to make it even between us, yâknow? I saw your naked body, and Iâll show you my naked body!â You explained. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed,
âYeah, I get why you did that. Whyâd you have to do it when Lauren was coming over, though?â He teased, smirking up at you. You scoffed and shoved him by the forehead,
âI didnât know she was coming over! You couldâve given the group chat a heads up!â He nodded and stared at the ground,
âSo, did you likeâŠsee my, yâknowâŠkitty cooter?â You asked awkwardly, poking at his shoulder with a grin.
He cringed and groaned at the word you used,
âI did! I saw everything. Alsoâkitty cooter? Just call it a vagina at that pointâ It was your turn to cringe and groan,
âEw! The word âvaginaâ sounds absolutely terrible coming out of your mouth, Parker. Never use that word around me againâ He scoffed and threw his hands up in defence,
âGeez! Sorry for calling it the scientifically correct name. Never use âkitty cooterâ around me again, alright?â
-
âSince when did you have friends that werenât me?â Peter asked Ned, as he glanced around the loft that was filled with at least thirteen people,
âI can have friends that arenât just you. Surprise!â Ned said, scoffing,
âYou couldâve asked y/n, Mj and I that you were going to throw a fucking party, dudeâ He shrugged and grabbed a beer from the fridge, handing it to Peter,
âDidnât know I had to ask for permission, Daddyâ Peter scrunched up his face and took a swig of the beer,
âWhateverâ He leaned against the fridge and continued sipping it, starting to wonder where you and Mj were,
âWhat the hell?!â There you were.
You and Mj had shopping bags in your hands, struggling to hold them all as you scanned the loft full of people in annoyance,
âWho let humans in our loft!â Mj yelled over the music, catching your shoulder with her free hand when you began to lose balance in your steps,
âLet me helpâ Peter jogged over to you both and grabbed some of the bags,
âDid you invite these people, here? I thought we were your only friends, Parkerâ You said. He rolled his eyes and slung your purse over his shoulder with sass,
âI didnât know about this party, either. Ned invited them without telling usâ Mj groaned and dropped the bags on the floor,
âI hate it here. Iâm going to my room and not coming out until these people leaveâ She walked away down the hall to her bedroom. You began following along behind her,
âIâm doing the sameâ Peter trailed behind you like a lost puppy, now holding every single bag you brought home. Getting into your room, you shut the door and pointed to your bed,
âPut the bags there, Bug-boyâ He tossed the bags,
âGently!â You shoved him out the way and double checked that nothing in them broke,
âYouâre welcome, Princessâ Peter scoffed, sitting down in your fluffy pink chair, leaning back and stretching his arms above his head.
You turned around to face him and almost gasped as his happy trail was showing from where his shirt lifted up. Your attention then focused to how his big muscles flexed through his white shirt.
Jesus Christ.
âSoâŠbigâ You mumbled as you stared at him. He raised an eyebrow,
âWhat was that?â Your eyes widened,
âNothing! I didnât say anything! Shut up the fuck upâ He snorted and ran a hand through his hair,
âWhereâd you and Mj go today?â He asked, now manspreading.
Can he stop sitting like a bitch, for fuck sake?
âUhâwe went to Sephora, Walmart, the food court and Victoria Secret. When we were at Victoria Secret this old lady called me a whore for looking at this lingerie set that looked like two tiny triangles and a string of flossâ You rolled your eyes at the memory.
He laughed and stood up, walking over to you,
âAw, that sucks. Old people, am I right?â He wrapped his arms around you, giving you a hug. You froze before nuzzling into his arms, sighing contently with your eyes closed, sniffing his armpit,
âDid you just sniff my armpit?â He asked. You could hear a smile in his voice,
âPfftttâno, Iâm not weirdâ He smirked and hugged tighter, his bicep now completely covering your face.
Is he doing this on purpose?
âYou are pretty weirdâ You hummed to what he said, not recalling paying attention to anything but him.
âNever let goâ The words left your mouth before you could really stop them,
âWhat?â
âWhat?â
-
âChug, chug, chug, chug!â Everyone chanted as you and Peter were seeing who could chug down a beer faster. You managed to finish first which had everybody cheering and a couple of people ruffling your hair,
âLick me, Parker!â You yelled, shoving his shoulder. Peter groaned and tossed the can away,
âI wishâ He whispered to himself, but smiling as he watched you awkwardly dance in victory to the Pitbull song playing,
âLetâs play a game!â Ned yelled, drunkenly slinging an arm around your shoulder.
-
âWe close our eyes and hold up a number on our fingers, and then on the count of three we open our eyes. Whoever is holding up the same number has to kiss!â
You and Ned sat next to each other while Peter sat across from you, next to a girl named Emily while she sat across from Ned.
Everyone was slowly starting to form little groups, playing different games together since it was still early in the night. You and Peter somehow got roped into playing this stupid game together,
âWhat are we, twelve?! This game is so stupidâ You complained. Peter nodded along to what you were saying,
âExactly! Also, Ned, Iâm not kissing you if we hold up the same numberâ Ned scoffed,
âWhy are you acting like weâve never made out, before, Peter?â You looked at the both of them confused,
âWaitâ
âWe never kissed! Anyways, Iâm only gonna play if y/n playsâ He said, shrugging and staring you down nonchalantly. You squinted your eyes at him and looked over at Emily and asked,
âYou playing?â She shrugged and then nodded,
âOkay, cool. Iâm playing, thenâ Peter smiled and leaned forward so that his face was only inches from yourâs,
âDamn. I guess Iâm playing as wellâ Your breath hitched at his low tone,
âYep! Iâm playing, tooâ You repeated, mentally slapping yourself at your weird behaviour,
âRight. Iâm gonna play, yepâ He said back, now both of you becoming awkward once you guys realized how close your faces were,
âAhem!â Emily cleared her throat in annoyance, breaking you guys out of your odd, repetitive conversation,
âEverybody shut your eyes, please!â You all did so before Ned began to count,
âAlright, open your eyesâ Emily and Ned both had two fingers held up,
âSweet!â He whispered under his breath before leaning in to kiss Emily.
Peter couldnât hide his discouraged self when he opened his eyes to see that you both were holding up different.
After two more rounds of just Ned and Emily holding up the same number every time, Peter was getting fed up,
âIâm getting tired of watching you guys kiss, yâknowâ He said, still staring at you. In fact, he hadnât stopped staring at you this whole game, this whole night,
âHonestly, me too. At this point, Iâll kiss anyone!â You stated, staring at everybody who was in the room, except for Peter himself. He couldnât help but frown at that, now feeling like his feelings were one-sided,
âFine! One more round, okay?â Ned said, closing his eyes and starting to count down to three,
âOpen your eyes!â Coincidentally, you and Peter were both holding up four fingers. His heart sped up as he began to blush, but his face fell when he heard your groan and throw your head back,
âNo way! Iâm not kissing him!â He began to become defensive now, his way of hiding his hurt feelings,
âWell, I donât want to kiss you either, y/l/n! And by the way, you said youâd kiss anyone!â You rolled your eyes and stood up,
âWhatever! Goodnightâ Peter stood up as well in a hurry,
âGoodnight, as well!â He began to trail behind you as you made your way to the hallways to your bedroom,
âWhy are you following me?!â You yelled, turning around and flailing your arms,
âI donât know!?â He yelled back as you guys made your way to your room, the door being slammed shut by Peter,
âWhy are you in my room!?â
âI donât know!?â
You both stood there, simply staring at each other with squinted eyes,
âI didnât even want to join the party. I just wanted to watch a movie and go to bed â you mumbled, sighing heavily and sitting on the floor at the foot of your bed, leaning your back against it.
Peter did the same, sitting next to you, his head falling back against the frame,
âDamn. I wanted to invite Lauren overâ You whipped your head around to look at him with a scowl, to end up seeing that he was grinning and looking at you already.
He was teasing you.
You rolled your eyes and bumped his shoulder,
âNot funny, Peterâ He doesnât know why, but the way his name rolled off your tongue had his spidey-senses tingling, his âPeter-tingleâ is what May would call it.
An awkward silence fell between you both. There had been many awkward silences since the âincidentâ a couple of days ago. You guys saw each other naked for godâs sake! That would make any roommates and friends feel awkward for a bit, but it was coming up on a week that you and Peter had that unresolved tension.
Almost like you were reading his mind, you started to speak,
âThereâs this weird feeling between usâ He glanced over at you and pursed his lips,
âI kinda miss the old us, yâknow? The us before we saw each other naked and vulnerableâ You let out a small giggle at the end of your sentence. He smiled and scratched his eyebrow while nodding,
âNoâyeah, I get what youâre sayingâ You leaned your head on his shoulder, catching him by surprise,
âI just thought that if I showed you my naked-self back itâd make things less awkward and have everything go back to beingânormal?â He let go of a long breath he didnât know he was holding in, and leaned his cheek on top of your head,
âIt did kind of take away my embarrassmentâŠbutâ
He cut himself and bit his lip,
âBut, what?â He puffed out his cheeks and and rubbed his chin.
Just say how you feel, Peter.
âIt took away my embarrassment butâit also made me feel things?â You grew confused and raised your head from his shoulder to look at him,
âFeel things?â He looked down in shyness,
âLikeâI couldnât get you off my mind after I saw you in my roomâŠnakedâ Your face became hot to the touch at his words,
âNot just your naked body, by the way! Youâre so much more than your body! What I mean is thatâ
âEverybody is leaving!â Ned swung the door open, cutting Peter off,
âOh! Finallyâ you quickly stood up and sprinted out the room, leaving Peter there to sulk on your bedroom floor,
âYou gonna come and say goodbye?â Ned questioned, giving the Spider-boy a weird look,
âJust leave me alone to dieâ
âUmâokay. What an odd thing to sayâ
-
After saying goodbye and doing your nighttime routine in the bathroom, you made your way to your bedroom to find that Peter was no longer in there,
âWhat a weird nightâ You whispered to yourself, flopping down on your bed.
You started to think about what Peter had said before, about not being able to stop thinking about your naked body.
The way he said it, in such a nervous but charming way, had you clenching your legs together while replaying it in your head. Did you really have that much of an effect on his mind? Did he like you?
I mean, he did say it wasnât just your body that he was thinking about. What would he have said if Ned didnât open the door?
Meanwhile, Peter was in his room at his desk with his head in his hands, his head running wild with thoughts as well,
âYouâre so stupid, Peter. You shouldâve never said anything to her in the first placeâ His foot tapped on the ground anxiously, trying to decide if he should never talk to you again (which he knew was not possible and too dramatic), or if he should walk across the hall to your room and tell you everything he has been feeling.
-
Needing a distraction, you felt around for your phone on your bed, to your end table, and then groaned in annoyance when you remembered you forgot it in the bathroom,
âMy god!â You lazily got out of bed and went to the bathroom, grabbed your phone, and started the seemingly endless walk back to your room,
âHoly shit!â You screamed in fear, placing a hand on your chest.
There stood Peter in the hallway,
âSorry! Itâs just me! Itâs Peter!â You rolled your eyes and rubbed your forehead,
âYeah, I know itâs you. Justâwhy are you standing like slenderman in the middle of the hallway?â He glared at you and ran a hand through his hair,
âI wanted to talk to you but, you look tired and annoyed so, Iâll just let you go to sleep, or whateverâ You straightened your back and blinked, your heartbeat beginning to beat rapidly at his words,
âYeah?â
âYeahâ
Peter could sense your heartbeat deep in his ears and a smell that he couldnât really put a name on, but he liked it, and he knew it meant you were excited. Itâs times like these where heâs happy that he is spider-Man. The hairs on his neck stood up as he stepped a little closer to you,
âYour heart is beating really fastâ He started to feel cocky as he watched you look down to avoid looking into his face, and how the smell of your arousal was becoming more intense. He placed his hand on your chest,
âPeterâ He raised an eyebrow and smirked,
âYeah?â You cleared your throat and awkwardly looked to the side,
âYour hand is on my boob. That is not my heartâ His eyes widened as his cocky demeanour disappeared. He went to snatch his hand away, but to both of your guyâs embarrassment, his hand remained stuck to you,
âUmâ
He tried taking it off again,
âIâm starting to think this is not your spider-ness, or whatever. I think you just wanted an excuse to keep your hand on my boob foreverâ His eyes bulged out of his head and continued to try and take his hand off,
âI did not do it on purpose! Iâm sticky! Itâs apart of me!â You slapped a hand on your forehead, and grabbed his wrist to make him stop pulling,
âStop! Rip my shirt offâ His face flushed at your words,
âIâmâwhat?â
âYou heard me. Youâve already seen me naked, so just rip it off and we canâtalk?â He nervously chuckled at your words,
âAre you sure? Causeâ
âPeterâ
âOkay, sorry! Iâll justâ
A loud tearing sound could be heard,
âWowâ
He stared at your chest, suddenly getting déjà vu, but this time you were wearing a pretty white bra that had a small bow in the front instead of being completely naked.
You crossed your arms over your chest,
âAre we gonna talk, or?â You trailed off, whispering and looking up into his eyes. He sucked in a deep breath and looked into your eyes as well,
âI, uhâwe still havenât kissed. We held up the same number, remember?â He said, walking so close to you that your back was almost against the wall.
Your ripped shirt that was still hanging from his hand finally detached, plopping onto the floor at your feet,
âPeter?â You whispered, biting your lip,
âFuckâ Peter grabbed your bare waist and pressed his lips onto yourâs, a surprised gasp coming from you. You placed your arms on his shoulders and practically melted into him.
He felt relief when you didnât pull away, instead tangling your fingers in his hair and tugging, grinding into him desperately. Remembering that you were still a human who has to breathe, you pulled away and took a deep, shaky breath, Peter as well. You glanced into each otherâs eyes, chest moving rapidly,
âI like youâ He whispered, gulping. You grinned and pull him back in by his face to your lips. His hands were now experimenting, rubbing your lower back, the straps of your bra, and then your breasts. He let out a high pitch pathetic moan when he squeezed them,
âI cant believe Iâm squeezing your boobs right nowâ you snorted against his lips at his loser-like way of saying it.
You let out a gasp when he unexpectedly picked you up bridal style like you weighed nothing, his super-human strength causing your mind to lead to very sinful thoughts,
âI think itâs so hot your spider-manâand so, strongâ You blurted out, staring up at his brown eyes as he kicked your bedroom door open. He smirked at that and gently laid you down on your bed. He stood at the foot of the bed and shrugged, flexing his biceps (on purpose),
âThanks. I can lift cars and buildings, too. Sâlike, no big deal or whateverâ He looked down at his feet and scratched the back of his neck,
âPeter?â
âYeah?â
âAre you gonna likeâcome here and have sex with meâ or?â
âRight! Shit, yeah! Umâ
He took his shirt off, hurriedly pulled down his pants and let out an embarrassing girl-ish scream when he tripped over his pants and fell on the ground with a loud thud,
âOh my god! Peter, are okay?!â His head popped up,
âYep! Totally good! Donât even worry about!â
He dove on the bed and made himself comfortable between your legs, making you giggle at his enthusiasm. You guys went back to making out, his kisses beginning to trail to your neck, shoulder, breasts, and stomach. He slowly slid your pyjama shorts down your legs and tossed them behind him. He placed a hand on your boob and the other in your underwear,
âOh! Peter!â He raised an eyebrow and smirked,
âWow, barely touched you and your already screaming my nameâ You screamed his name again and pointed to the window,
âNo, Peter! You threw my new expensive shorts out the window!â

Hereâs part 1 down below
I most definitely 100% have a type. I am their young controversial gf. You see them? There so bbg đŁ
imagine itâs late at night your fast asleep in bed with sevika and then all of a sudden basically everyone staying is your house (jinx, isha, vi and caitlyn) just kinda make their way into your room to sleep there too, like isha is asleep between you and sevika, jinx is at the foot of the bed and vi and cait are on the floor and you guys wake up and have a slow morning where SAHM sevika makes pancakes and everyone is ALIVE and happy
CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
men and minors dni
"you need to go to bed, big mama. you were busy as hell today." you say as you crawl into bed beside your wife.
sevika rolls her eyes and closes her book, curling herself around you as you flick out the lamps. "are the girls all asleep?"
you giggle and shrug. jinx and isha you've grown used to, but this evening cait and vi decided to come over and crash too. vi claims it's because your guest room's mattress is just that good. you know it's just because she wants to hang out with her sisters. "isha's asleep... for now. jinx, vi, and cait have promised to keep their giggles quiet, but i doubt they'll manage. apparently, cait's older brother is going out with jinx's tutor-- they're gonna be up all night making fun of 'em."
"viktor?" sevika asks with a giggle. you snort and nod. she chuckles. "i thought he was goin' out with that girl..."
"sky?"
"yeah."
"no, no, apparently sky is dating jayce's ex's assistant."
"who's jayce's ex?"
"mel merdarda."
"sky's dating a merdarda?!"
"no, sky's dating elora, the merdarda's assistant. mel is dating lest-- y'know, the owner of the beauty emporium down the street?"
"the cat lady who saved vi's hair after her little goth stint?"
you snort. "that's the one."
sevika giggles. "what a small world. i'm so fuckin' glad i've got you and i don't have to worry about that shit anymore." sevika sighs.
you giggle. "as if you were worrying about it before meeting me."
sevika snorts and pinches your ass. "fuck off, i'm trying to be cute."
"you are cute. now go to bed, big mama."
sevika groans in embarrassment and you giggle, kissing her throat as you settle in for sleep.
only two hours later you're pried apart from your wife by isha's ferocious kicks. you groan as you scoot over to make room for her to worm her way between you and sevika.
"you good?" you mumble, throwing your arm over her waist. isha yawns beside you.
"mhm." she mumbles before drifting off. you nuzzle your nose against her head and let sleep come for you.
you're in the middle of a nice dream when jinx accidentally knees you in the stomach.
"wah!" you gasp, snapping awake. jinx giggles guiltliy.
"sorry, sorry. can't sleep without my isha-bean." she mumbles, curling around isha where you had just been. you pout, sad that you can't reach sevika any longer, and wrap your arm around jinx and settle in for sleep again.
you get up to piss at some point, and come back to find vi in your old spot. "are you fucking kidding me?" you whine. vi giggles.
"i gotta get my cuddles in, c'mon. they're so cute." she pouts, pointing down at her little sisters in her arms. you roll your eyes and walk over to sevika's side, nudging her toward the middle of the bed so she can squish you against the wall.
"sweet dreams." you mumble.
vi hums. in her sleep, sevika curls around you.
it's dawn when you're awoken again, a gentle "fuck!" breaking through the quiet morning air.
"mmh?" you ask, sitting up in bed and rubbing your eyes.
"uh... sorry." caitlyn's nervous voice pipes up. you giggle. "i just... got cold."
"c'mon." you grunt, waving her toward the bed. cait giggles as she darts under the covers, squished between isha and sevika.
"do you think the bed can hold all of us?" caitlyn asks.
you giggle. "i fuckin' hope so."
the bed holds until morning, when you wake up to the sound of laughter.
all your girls are awake, isha's dancing on the foot of the bed with jinx, cait and vi are cuddling, and sevika's got you in her arms.
"g'morning." you mumble. sevika kisses your forehead.
"you're awake! we're thinking pancakes for breakfast, what do you say?" sevika asks.
you giggle. "sounds good to me. bacon, too?"
"well, duh--"
sevika's cut off by vander jumping into the bed, drool leaking from his mouth at the mention of bacon. you all burst into laughter, and then the bed lets out a concerning squeak.
"oh fuck-- everyone off the bed, we are not breaking another bedframe!" you scream.
all of you scramble out of bed, but vi remains paralyzed under the covers, her face screwed up in concern. "whadya mean 'another'?! what are you freaks doing in here that could break an entire--"
"violet, if you want pancakes you'll shut your mouth this moment!" sevika calls from the kitchen.
vi comes scrambling out of bed a second later.

The second request has been sitting in my ask for a long time (sorry). â
When you arrived at your assigned dorm, there were already people there. One was a boy with curly hair, and the other a woman with white-blond hair. Their backs were all turned, so they didnât see you come in with your suitcase.Â
ââNo, Mom, you don't have to do that. I can do it myself,ââ he said, trying to stop her from unpacking a box. ââClasses donât start until Monday.ââÂ
ââBut I want to help you settle in,ââ she insisted, taking a lamp out of the box and setting it on the nightstand. ââMy first boy is leaving for college. This is difficult for me, Jace. Let me at least help you with your bed. No one makes a bed better than a mother.ââ Â
Jace sighed in defeat and moved out of her way so she could make his bed. ââOkay. Thanks, Mom.ââÂ
She grabbed sheets from another box and began making the bed. ââWhere are your brothers and father? Taking the last boxes out of the car shouldnât take so long. I hope they didnât get lost on campus.ââ
You watched them with jealousy, wishing your parents had dropped you off at college too. It was a rite of passage for freshman students. But you understood that your parents had jobs they could not take days off from.Â
You stood there for a moment before clearing your throat to announce your presence. ââThis is room 309?ââ
Jaceâs mom looked up first, giving you a kind smile. ââOh, hello there. Yes, this is 309. Are you looking for someone?ââÂ
ââNo. Eh, this is my dorm,ââ you said with a frown, holding your paper in your hand. ââIt says 309.ââÂ
Jace turned around, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. ââThatâs impossible, there must be a mistake. This is a boys hall, and boys and girls arenât supposed to room together. Itâs nothing against you, I personally donât see a problem rooming with a girl. Itâs justâŠnot permitted.ââ
ââI know. But it says here that this is my dorm.ââÂ
ââLet me see that paper, sweetheart.ââ The blond woman looked at your paper, her eyes reading the information slowly. ââOh, no. Youâre right. There must be a mistake on the collegeâs part.ââ
ââYou should go to the housing office,ââ Jace suggested with the same kind smile as his mother. ââTheyâll switch you to another hall.ââ
You nodded. ââIâm gonna go and see if they can solve this issue. Can I leave my suitcase here?ââÂ
ââOf course.ââÂ
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°Â
The line outside the housing office was crazy due to the hoard of students coming back, so you didn't get back to your dorm until well later in the evening. There were no voices coming from inside your dorm, meaning Jace's family must have left.Â
You knocked before coming in, not wanting to walk in on something you should not be seeing. But Jace did not hear you, laying on his bed with a book and headphones on. You didnât take him for a reader, nor a glasses wearer.Â
ââWhat did they say at housing?ââ he asked, taking down his headphones and shutting his book.Â
You walked over to the empty bed and fell down on it, exhausted. ââThey basically said sorry for the inconvenience and that I gotta sleep here tonight. But Iâll get a new room tomorrow, so itâs not a permanent thing.ââÂ
Jace hummed. ââDo you need help settling for the night?ââÂ
You shook your head, standing. ââNo. Iâm just gonna get my pillow and blanket, and change into pajamas. Thereâs no point unpacking when I move again tomorrow.ââÂ
Your suitcase was heavy, so you lowered it on the floor and grabbed your pillow and blanket, then rummaged through your suitcase for your pajamas. As you held up your shorts and a tee shirt, you remembered that this was a boys' hall, meaning the bathrooms would be full of boys.
Jace seemed to read your mind. ââEh, I can turn around so you can change,ââ he offered. ââI promise Iâm not gonna look. I can even take off my glasses if you want, Iâm blind as a mile without them.ââ
You chuckled at his offer. What a gentleman, you noted. Making sure you feel comfortable during this inconvenience. ââThat's okay. Just turning around is fine."
He nodded and turned his back to you, facing the wall. ââYouâre in art school?ââ he asked, making conversation as you changed so it would be less awkward. ââI've seen your sketchbook and art supplies beside your suitcase. Not that I snooped through your things. I promise I didnât.ââÂ
ââYeah,ââ you replied, pulling your shirt over your head and unclasping your bra. It felt daunting to be topless in the same room as an almost-stranger, but you tried to not think too much about it. ââAnd youâre in...?'
''Political science,ââ he finished. ââMy grandfather went to this university, so Iâm following his footsteps. Iâm also taking a side class in History for personal pleasure.ââ
Political science was not what you expected him to say, but it made sense. With his glasses, he had the politician look â minus the sweats and tee shirt.Â
What kind of weirdo takes a history class for fun?Â
ââI know what youâre thinking â history is boring. But I love learning about the past civilisations and how ancient monuments were built, itâs so fascinating. Like the Moai Statues, the Giza pyramids or the Colosseum of Rome.ââ
ââHave you ever visited one of them?ââ You slipped into your pajamas, and threw your dirty clothes on top of your suitcase.Â
His lips curled into an excited grin. ââI have! Last year, my family and I went to Italy and my dad took me and my brother Luke to see the Colosseum. It was magnificent. I took pictures. Do you want to see?ââÂ
ââSure.ââÂ
You sat back on your bed and Jace turned back around, reaching to grab his ipad to show you the pictures he took. His passion for history could be heard as he talked about the Colosseum, telling you facts you had never heard of. Eventually, the pictures came to an end, and Jace accidentally swiped too far, showing you a picture of his brothers and him making faces in Italy.Â
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°Â
You didnât think so many people would be up early on a Saturday. The queue at the campus cafĂ© was insane. All for a coffee and a bagel.Â
As you walked across the quad, trying to get to the bookstore to get everything you needed for Monday, flyers were being shoved into your face, advertising for clubs, frat parties and sorority houses who were scouting for new members. You were not interested in any, but they were not taking no for answer.
AÂ neon party? What year were they stuck into?Â
You threw all the invitations in the trash. Â
On your way back from the bookstore, you received an email from the housing office with your new dorm information. You could move in immediately, but needed to stop by for your new key.Â
So that's what you did.Â
You couldnât wait to get to your new dorm and finally shower.Â
ââYouâre already going?ââ Jace asked, coming in with a paper bag containing lunch from the cafĂ© you went to this morning.Â
You nodded, finishing zipping up your suitcase. ââIâm not going too far, though. Iâm just a floor up, right above you, so if you jerk off or have a girl over, remember that I can hear all.ââ
Jaceâs cheeks turned a shade of pink, getting flustered.
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°Â
Although you had moved out, you found yourself standing outside your old dorm a few days later.Â
ââHowdy roomie,ââ you said when Jace opened. ââLetâs go out, Iâm hungry.ââÂ
Before he could say anything, you stepped in as if it was still your dorm and sat on the empty bed that used to be yours. They must not have found him a new roommate. On the desk, you noticed Jaceâs laptop was opened along with his textbook.Â
The brunet frowned, clearly confused by your presence. ââEh, what are you doing here?ââÂ
ââTaking my roommate out for pizza?ââ you replied. You had not eaten since that granola bar at lunch and your stomach was screaming.Â
ââWeâre not roommates anymore.ââÂ
You rolled your eyes. It was a minor detail. ââI know, but youâre the person Iâve spent the most time with since getting here and I donât feel like going out to eat alone. Please, Jace,ââ you said, pouting to put all chances on your side.Â
He was taken back. This wasnât a common occurrence for him. A girl knocking on his door and asking him out â platonically or not.Â
His frown disappeared, and a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. ââFine,ââ he sighed. ââIâll put on my shoes.ââ
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°Â
Getting pizza after class on Wednesday became a weekly rendez-vous. You sat at the same table, ordered the same toppings â pepperoni with extra cheese and red bell peppers â, and talked about anything but school. You made it an official rule on your fourth date when Jace spent the whole time biting his fingers and worrying about a paper that was due at the end of the week.Â
Pizza dates were your special time to unwind and stop thinking of schoolwork.
As you both settled into your usual spot, hair slightly damp from the drizzle outside. Early autumn rain was the worst. The weather was too warm to carry around a jacket, but when you didnât have one, rain would randomly start pouring.Â
You took a second slice of pizza and glanced at Jace. ââIâm gonna need your help for a project for my art class.ââÂ
His eyes widened slightly, and he quickly swallowed his bite of pizza. ââNope!ââÂ
You frowned at his immediate refusal. ââYou donât want to help me?ââÂ
ââNo! Thatâs not that,ââ he assured. ââDidnât we make a rule that we would not be speaking of school while eating pizza? Youâre breaking your own rule,ââ he pointed out.Â
You sighed dramatically, leaning back in the booth. ââI know⊠But Mrs. Rosenberg told us this afternoon that we needed a model for our proportion piece and I didnât want to forget about it. All you have to do is sit and look pretty while I draw you.ââÂ
Jace raised an eyebrow. ââOh, so you think Iâm pretty?ââ he teased, stuffing a huge bite of pizza in his mouth before you could swat his arm.
You rolled your eyes and took a bite of your own slice. ââSo, will you be my model?ââ
He thought about it, a slight pout on his lips. ââWhatâs in it for me?ââ
ââExtra time with your favorite roommate?ââÂ
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°Â
ââIs this okay? I have a red polo somewhere. Maybe it would look better?ââ Jace asked as you laid out your art material on the second, unused, desk.Â
You shook your head, and started propping up your small easel. ââYouâre perfect like this.ââÂ
He nodded slowly, his cheeks flushing a bit as he settled into position by the desk lamp you had priorly angled. The silence between you was comfortable as you began tracing Jace's features on your canvas, and you took a moment to really look at him â his curly hair, the faint freckles across his aquiline nose, the highlight of his pouty lips, and the way his fingers fidgeted with the hem of his tee shirt.
He was nervous. You immediately picked on it when you came in with your canvas and art supplies. His demeanor was different than usual.Â
ââCan you move your head slightly to the left?ââ
Jace complied, the dull yellow light of the lamp hitting exactly where you wanted it. Now, you could see all the angles and edges of his face.Â
ââYes! Thatâs perfect!ââ
You continued tracing the contrasts and outlines of your model's face, eyebrows knitted together in concentration. Jace found it cute, but he kept it to himself.Â
The afternoon passed. You painted and mixed colors on your palette, lost in your creative bubble while Jace was trying his best to keep his posture...which was starting to ache. Sitting completely straight for hours was more difficult than he thought.
As you were working on his complexion, you stole glances at your ex-roommate, trying to get every detail on your canvas, and noticed him shifting slightly, uncomfortable.Â
ââYou know,ââ you began, breaking the silence. ââYou donât have to stay completely still like a statue. Feel free to move a little or adjust. I'll tell you if it doesn't work for me.ââ
Jace gave a small laugh, the sound light and nervous. ââIâm not really used to this⊠Playing the model.ââ
ââI think you're doing good. Just...a bit stiff.ââ
You continued painting him until the sun began to set, then called for a much deserved snack break. Jace pulled out a pack of Oreos from the snack box in his closet and your eyes turned into hearts. They were your favorite.Â
ââYou really know the way to a girlâs heart,ââ you said as you took a third cookie from the pack.Â
Jace smiled at you, pleased to see you enjoying them. He took a fifth one and chewed slowly as crumbs fell on his shirt. Oreos were messy. ââMy mom sent them to me in a care package last week. I need my sugar to stay focused when I stay up late doing schoolwork.ââÂ
Your heart melted at the sweet attention from Jaceâs mother. Â
ââHow is the painting going?ââ Â
ââItâs coming together nicely. But it wonât be finished tonight. Painting takes a while. Especially portraits,ââ you replied. ââI need to get every little detail right. From that one curl thatâs almost poking you in the eye to the dust of freckles on your nose.ââÂ
The brunetâs cheeks flushed a bit at your words. He was not sure what to do with the feeling bubbling up in his stomach. Was this a compliment? Gods, he sucked with girls.Â
You stayed in Jaceâs dorm until one of you began yawning and it was time to call it a night. He helped you put your painting supplies away and even offered to clean your brushes in the boysâ bathrooms. This guy was a true sweetheart.Â
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°
The following afternoon, you approached Jace's dorm, your painting supplies tucked under your arm. A lot of students used their Sunday to do their laundry, so you hoped he was there. You should have texted him before coming.
You were about to knock, fist raised, when you paused at the door, hearing the faint sound of a facetime conversation coming from inside.Â
ââSheâs not my girlfriend. Shut up, Luke,ââ Jace's voice came through, tinged with frustration.
You could imagine his cheeks heating up.Â
ââYou go on dates all the timeâŠand you said she was cute, and talented, and funny,'' Luke's voice, younger and teasing, said, recalling everything.Â
You should feel ashamed for eavesdropping on a conversation about you, but you couldnât help but smile to yourself, butterflies filling your stomach. Jace had talked to his brother about you? If Luke assumed you were his girlfriend, he must have talked about you more than once.Â
ââWeâre just friends. I donât have time for a girlfriend anyway. I have a lot of schoolwork,ââ Jace interrupted, his tone firm but slightly defensive.
ââNerd,ââ Luke snickered.Â
You didnât meet him on moving day, but you assumed he was the kind of brother who loved to tease his siblings. From what Jace had told you, he was quite the little troublemaker.Â
A few doors down, a guy walked out of his dorm with a bag of dirty clothes and sweatpants low on his hips, and stared you down as you stood in the corridor. He was walking your way, so you took this as your cue to knock on Jaceâs door. The sound echoed throughout the quiet corridor, louder than you intended.
ââOhh is that your girlfriend?ââÂ
ââNo, it's...pizza delivery. Tell Mom Iâll call her tonight,ââ he added in a softer tone.Â
You heard movement inside and soon Jace opened the door, greeting you with his usual bright smile. He had glasses and gray sweats on, meaning he had likely not left his dorm at all today.Â
ââHey, youâre here! I was starting to think you made other plansâŠââ Jace said, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.Â
ââNever,ââ you replied, walking past him and setting your things down like yesterday. ââBesides, I need to bring in my final piece Wednesday morning and I still have a lot left to paint. It would have been a poor choice to not come.ââÂ
Behind you, Jace nodded. ââEh, should I change into the shirt I had yesterday? Because I slept in and didnât do laundry.ââÂ
You shook your head. ââThe color of your shirt does not matter. Iâm still painting your pretty face.ââÂ
Jace smiled and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly; it was a nervous habit he had, you had discovered. ââIâll go sit at my spot, then.ââÂ
ââHave you taken a peak while I was not there?ââ you asked as you placed the canvas and easel in front of your chair.Â
You glanced over at him, half-expecting a guilty grin, but he shook his head, his dark curls bouncing slightly. ââNo. I want to be surprised.ââÂ
You finished setting your stuff up quietly.Â
The sky was gray today, clouds hanging heavy as if threatening rain, so you were thankful for the artificial light you chose to use yesterday. Natural light is great, but frustrating as it changes with time and weather.Â
When you began mixing colors and painting, you felt Jaceâs shy gaze on you. His eyes would dart away when you almost caught him, pretending to be interested in something else, only to glance back at you a moment later. It was a silent game, one that made you smile every time you almost caught him.
â.ă.:*ă»Â°â.ă.:*ă»Â°Â
About an hour into your painting, rain started to fall heavily and the sky began to shake with thunder. It echoed loudly around the room, causing the lights to flash.Â
You were used to rain and thunderstorms, so you didn't think this one was strong enough to cause a power outage, but after an especially loud crack of thunder, the whole dorm went dark.Â
ââI guess thatâs our cue to stop for today,ââ you said with a small laugh, barely able to see your canvas in front of you. You sighed, slightly frustrated by the interruption, and put your brush down on the easel.
Jace moved to his window, seeing the pouring rain and an impressive lightning flashing in the distance. ''Looks like it's not going to let up anytime soon.'' He glanced at your face, but was blinded by the brightness of your phoneâs light.Â
You quickly apologized, laughing. ââI didn't mean to do that,ââ you promised.
He glared at you and went back to his bed, rubbing his eyes. ââItâs worse with my glasses. I canât see.ââÂ
You laughed harder, directing the light to the ceiling so no one would be blinded by it. ââDo you think the university has a generator?ââ
ââFor the academic buildings, not the residences. It would take a massive one to provide power to the whole campus,ââ Jace explained, finally starting to get his vision back. ââWeâre stuck in the dark until it gets back.ââÂ
You sighed and abandoned your side to move and sit on Jaceâs bed. You could have gone back to your dorm, but you would be sitting alone in the dark. He turned his head to look at you, noticing you sitting on the edge of his bed, and moved back to make more room for you. You smiled, a silent âthank youâ.
Thankfully, it was only mid-November, so it was not that cold. But it will get cold eventually if the power goes out for too longâŠ
After a few hours, the power was not back. And the room had gotten a little cold, so Jace offered you one of his hoodies. It was gray and felt like a blanket on you. And it smelled like him â woodsy and comforting.Â
Through this long darkness and silence, you found yourself thinking about the conversation you heard when you came to his dorm. You figured it was heavily influenced by the hoodie enveloping you.Â
ââJace?ââÂ
He hummed, sitting in his corner against his pillows.Â
The words vomited out before you could stop them. ââWhy did you tell your brother that you didnât have time for a girlfriend when you spend all your free time with me?ââÂ
The brunet was taken aback by your question. He looked like a kid caught with his hand in a cookie jar. ââW-what?ââ he stammered, his cheeks flaming. ââHow do you knowâââÂ
ââI heard you on the phone earlier. I didn't mean to listen, I justâŠdid.ââ
Jace cleared his throat and spoke quietly, his voice strained and embarrassed. ââYou werenât supposed to hear that...ââ He looked away from you, avoiding your gaze. ''What else have you heard?''Â
A lump of guilt knotted inside your stomach for putting him on the spot like this. ''Not much. A guy walked out of his dorm and was staring me down, so I knocked on your door to get away,'' you explained in truth.Â
There was a moment of silence as Jace picked at his fingers. He was still embarrassed, but he needed to push it to the side and make something useful out of it. ââI told Luke I didnât have time for a girlfriend because I donât know how to have a girlfriend. I mean, I do know the principle. I justâŠdonât know how to talk to girls.ââ
You smiled, finding his honesty adorable. ââYouâre talking to me now,ââ you said with a hint of amusement hiding behind your words.
ââAnd itâs exactly the problem. Weâre just talking,ââ he muttered more to himself than to you.Â
ââWould you like us to do more than talking?ââ you asked flirtatiously, extending an invisible hand for Jace to grasp.Â
Slowly, his gaze shifted back to you. ââIt depends what you mean by more than talkingâŠââÂ
There was another loud crack of thunder, echoing and shaking the walls. The loud noise made Jace jump slightly, nervous from the proximity between you. He tried to brush it off, but you grinned and inched closer to cup his face.Â
''Tell me if you want me to stop.''Â
His eyes found yours and he gripped the blanket, needing something to grab to take his nerves off. ''I don't want you to stop.''
You leaned closer, your hand still on his cheek, and pressed your lips onto his. The touch of your lips sent a jolt of electricity up Jace's spine. He gasped, having never felt so much from a simple kiss, and kissed you back without hesitation, his lips plush but chapped against yours.Â
More lightning pierced the horizon outside the window, but you were too lost in each other's lips to notice. Jace's hand that was not grabbing the blanket came to rest on your hip to pull you a little closer. He was gentle and inexperienced, you could feel it in the way he was touching you.Â
You pulled away to catch your breath, but a needy whine left his lips, grabbing your hip with more force and pulling you back in. He was not done kissing you.
When night came and the power finally returned, you didnât go to your dorm. You borrowed one of Jaceâs tee shirts and slid under the covers with him. You both had classes at 8am, so you simply laid together, Jaceâs head on your chest while you gently rubbed his back and slowly fell asleep.
