i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping

THIISSS!! For years I’ve dealt almost with this exact pattern to the point where I thought of giving up on art altogether.

This along with other key issues of caring too much about likes and follow counts instead of what I wanted to draw and share just to like share with others yknow?

Gotta remind myself not to overdo it when looking at beautiful art. There’s this special golden zone where you’re the most inspired and motivated by other people’s art but it’s so easy to slip into overwhelm and get demotivated :(
