APRIL FOOLS!! …except the joke is me because I made a 4.6k visual novel on how to make visual novels in a day.
Yes, this is actually informative and intended to be a beginner's guide to visual novel development!
play it here:
Thank you for drawing the rare and elusive beast that is fem Harper, there's like no one who draws her ever and you make her so enchanting!
i'm so glad you like her!! fem harper is everything. need to draw her more..
The way most autism literature describes "literal interpretation" is often not at all similar to how I experience it. Teenage me even thought I couldn't be autistic because I've always been able to learn metaphors easily.
In fact, I love wordplay of all kinds. Teenage me was fascinated to learn all the types of figurative language there are in poetry and literature.
But paperwork and questionnaires are hard, because there's so much they don't state clearly. Or they don't leave room for enough nuance.
"List all the jobs you've had, with start and end dates." What if I don't remember the exact day or month? Is the year enough?
"Have you been suffering from blurred vision?" Well, if I take off my glasses the whole world is blurred, but I'm fairly sure that's not what the intake form at the optometrist is asking.
Or the infamous (and infuriatingly stereotypical) "Would you rather go to a library or a party?" What sort of party? Where? Who's there? I work at a library. Am I currently at the library for work or pleasure? Does it have a good collection?
It's not common figures of speech that confound me. It's ambiguity, in situations that aren't supposed to be ambiguous.
Imagine your f/o gently running their finger along your jaw, cheeks, or chin in a circular motion, soothing you with their soft touch and loving words. "It's gonna be okay. I know it doesn't feel like it right now, but you have me, alright? I'll support you, I'll do whatever it takes. And we'll get through it together, you and me. You'll never be alone again, I promise. Not as long as I'm here. It's all gonna be okay."
Hello!!! First I wanted to thank you for showing us your art and working hard on them!!!
I'm still shooketh you manage to put every little thing I like in a character into Killian... Pointy ears, mostly closed eyes... PRIEST... big booba... In my mouf rn please.
(Also, if it is okay to ask, what pen do you use on your drawings? I love the 2B pencil look on them! If you don't want to answer that's ok too!)
Hope you are doing good, and remember to rest!!! (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

How do you do color study TwT?
So when I did color study what I focused on the most was color theory. Color theory is an amazing thing that’ll help your art reach the next level even if you don’t particularly enjoy shading. This playlist has some great resources and this video is a pretty good and simple start. This video on lighting is super helpful as well.
You are doing art, not homework. There are no rules restricting you so open the canvas and try meshing together colors you don’t usually use. Don’t focus on making it look perfect. Try new things, see if you like using gradient maps or if you prefer adding in the colors yourself. Which colors look good together? Which ones do you like better? Play around to you liking
(If you're interested in a blog where aspecs can talk about experiences like this, I've since made an aspec venting space!)

Why? People edit their save files all the time, to increase or decrease stats- usually to make the game easier without properly cheating. Though DOL has a built-in feature for cheats, it doesn't allow you to gain feats. Remember; There is no one definitive way to play videogames! Do as you'd like!
First, you're going to want to Save to file, name it whatever you'd like. Next, open either saveeditor.online, saveeditonline.com or any other ren'py save editor you find reliable. If you're using saveeditonline.com- follow this below
You're going to want to bring up your 'find in page' function, on windows and chromebook, this function is CTRL+F. This allows you to jump to any typed text quickly. Alternatively, if you're using saveeditor.online, there's already a search option for you.
Next, you're going to input whatever you want to change into the search fields, whether that be money, skills, or a love interest's stats! Remember; Export your save before editting it just incase you mess up. Here are some stuff you can change; Money. There are two zero's next to it, these are your cents. Remember to ignore them or add cents as you wish.
An NPC's stats.
After you're finished, download the editted file from the website, and insert it into here on the import/export page.
Adding some notes here since some people are responding about antacids. You CAN take antacids just avoid taking them at the same time as ADHD meds. Wait like, a couple hours and try to reduce how much your take. If you have chronic acid reflux talk to your doctor about taking some PPIs which don't interact with ADHD meds. Stay safe y'all!
