I have noticed a pattern…

Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The starters were Cyndaquil, Rowlet, and Oshawatt

Based on speculation, as the same thing happened for PLA, potentially starters for Legends: Z-A are Litten, Turtwig, and Totodile.

One Johtonian starters, one seemingly random starter… and one Alolan starter.

I am so excited for the next Legends game, as, if my pattern isn’t hopeful nonsense, the potential for Popplio to be a starter in the next Legends game is there, and if my girl is skipped out, you will not hear from me for a long time, as I will be busy balling my eyes out. I can barely deal with her being ignored by the overall community, if she’s not in the next Legends game, I might actually cry.

Anyways, if these are correct, u plan on picking Litten. Never got to use her before, I’m excited to see a potential new form! :3

THE AMYCULE: prologue

I’ve been so into the Amycule recently, half because I think it’s really cute, and also half because I find the premise of Amy pulling all these bad bitches by being a sweetie pie to be incredible. Please enjoy this slop I’ve worked on over the last three nights, only after at least 9:00 pm.

Shadow

The clock strikes half-past nine. The moon is high in the sky, night had fallen over the city hours ago. The bright lights emanate from skyscrapers, illuminating the darkness. Gray clouds sag overhead, droplets of rain fall over the metropolis. The tallest of towers nearly reach said clouds, and shine like stars in an otherwise dark abyss. In the tallest tower, on the top floor, there is an apartment. A penthouse suite. It’s a luxurious space, full of the comfiest and most lavish amenities money can buy in this city. It’d cost a fortune to live there. But, for the greatest gem thief in the world, it barely put a dent in her finances. 

The room was quiet, with the exception of the juicy drama being spouted from the large flatscreen television and the pattering of rain against the windows. In the master bedroom, sprawled out linen draped mattress, cloaked in her scarlet silk bathrobe, Rouge the Bat, the world’s most notorious thief of priceless gems and precious stones, was relaxing, watching cheesy romance dramas and eating Rocky Road ice cream. A perfect night.

“Oh Ronaldo, you deserve so much better than him…”

Before she could dap the tears from her eyes that she got from the emotional rollercoaster “My Lover is a Hot Evil Demon Spirt from Another World?!?”, just took her on, a buzz rang throughout the house. Someone was buzzing her apartment. Who could be out bothering her at a time like this? Well, quite honestly, it could be any number of people. It was either one of Sonic’s little friends, or the police had finally caught up to her, and as troublesome the blue hedgehog could be, she’d rather deal with any of them. She begrudgingly got up out of bed and walked to the buzzer. 

R: “Who is this?”, she asked over the intercom, trying not to show how bothered she was.

?: “It’s me, let me in.”

She immediately perked up once she heard the voice. It was him. The Ultimate Life-Form. She felt her wit return, and she unlocked the building door.

Minutes passed, before the sound of the elevator arriving rings, and the sliding doors open. Dripping from head to toe, the rain water sliding down his quills, Shadow the Hedgehog enters the suite, naturally caring a brooding aura that surrounded his entire being. Before he could even take a second step-

R: “Ah ah ah~…”

Rouge pipped up from the kitchen island, still wearing her beautiful robe.

She tosses the soggy hedgehog a towel.

“Dry off first. No offense, but I like keeping my home clean~.”

Shadow grumbled to himself as he patted the cloth on his body and dried his shoes on the “Welcome” mat Rouge left specifically for him and Omega. Once he deemed himself dry enough, he threw the towel over his shoulder and joined Rouge at the table. As he sat on the opposite side of the island to her, she would glare at him with a knowing grin, waiting for him to say something. Shadow seemed more interested in staring at the quartz countertop, it was a lost cause, but it was worth it.

R: “Soooo… how was the date~?”

S: “…”

Shadow grunted to himself. This meant one of three things:

Either the date went terribly wrong, the date went fine, or the date went better than he could’ve imagined. 

R: “Shadow, you and I both know I’m not as fluent in grumbling as you~…”

She looked at the grim hedgehog with slight smirk. Shadow scrunched his face, before speaking.

S: “It-… it went fine…”

So it was the third one. If it went badly or was plain mediocre, Shadow wouldn’t had been afraid to be so blunt about his feelings.

R: “Just fine? Cmon Shadow, you can’t give me just that, I need to know everything!”

Shadow grumbled to himself again, a small patch of red forming on his cheeks, before looking to Rouge.

S: “What is there to say? We had an enjoyable afternoon.”

R: “Don’t be like that Shadow. Cmon, I just got to know…”

Rouge looked at Shadow with big sad eyes, before shadow finally relented to make Rouge stop with the faces.

S: “What do you want to know…?”

Rouge wondered where to start.

R: “Hmm… well, how was Amy? Where did you go? What happened? Was Surge or Blaze or Metal there? Maybe all of them? How are they? Did you give them those flowers we got? How was-?”

Rouge would ask a few more questions before stopping when Shadow cuts her off. She couldn’t help but notice how his cheeks were just the slightest bit burgundy. He was so adorable!

S: “Rouge!”

R: “Hehe, sorry…”

Shadow crossed his arms around his chest and turned away from his avian friend, looking down at the floor.

S: “… Amy seems to be well. She’s been occupying herself with her new relationship and it seems to be going alright…. We had dinner at her house, she made spaghetti, and Strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was… good, but she definitely could’ve spent a bit more time on the noodles… they were a bit burnt… but fine nonetheless…”

Rouge listened carefully, looking at her ally with a tired grin.

S: “Surge and Metal were there… Blaze apparently had business to attend to in her own dimension. They looked well… Surge seemed to be adapting to all this just fine-, I don’t think I’ve seen her so happy. I honestly didn’t believe she would survive domestic life. Metal seemed to be fine too. Well, I think at least. They certainly looked happy.”

R: “That’s good for them! I’m not sure how I felt when Amy announced they were all a thing, but I’m happy it’s working out okay for all of them!”

Shadow glared at the table again. He seemed a tad anxious about something.

R: “… so… how do you feel about it? Are you gonna join Amy’s harem~?”

S: “It’s not a “harem”, I believe the correct term is, “polyamorous relationship”. There’s a difference Rouge”

R: “Aha, I know the difference Shadow…”

Rouge looked at Shadow, waiting for his response.

S: “… I don’t know… don’t get me wrong, Amy is wonderful, so is Surge, and Blaze, and Metal-, surprisingly… but… I’m not sure how I feel about-… all this…”

R: “Hm… why do you feel that way?”

S: “I don’t know… I-… a part of me wants to… but-…”

Rouge could see Shadow has been struggling with this, she knows how he is when it comes to emotional intimacy, especially the level of openness required for a relationship. 

S: “… I need more time to think.”

R: “Of course. This is a just starting out, take all the time you need, Shadow…”

They would sit in silence for a minute or so, embracing the quiet. Rouge could see Shadow was truly thinking hard about this. 

R: “Whatever it is you choose, I’ll always be here…”

Shadow don’t answer, not even a grumble. He got up and began walking to his room.

R: “Bedtime already?”

Shadow grunted quietly.

R: “Goodnight Shadow…”

S: “… goodnight.”

Shadow disappeared into his bedroom, and silence fell over the living space once more.
