your life is not an optimization problem
“available with premium subscription” “will be removed on the 31st” “available free with ads” “rent 4.99 buy 20.00″ “not available in your country” “not available on this device” what if every streaming service fucking killed itself and films ran around their fields free and organic in their natural state
This is hilarous. Gil-galad edit narrated by Ben Walker (the excerpts are from his interview in Rings and Realms). source
I like the implication that Elrond was blonde but somehow developed a different hair color either because aging Elves just do that or because he dyes it darker to come off more seriously which is very funny to imagine
Elrond: "Everyone called me pretty boy too often-"
additionally i think a lot of us remain helplessly dependent on self flagellation and punishment believing it to be discipline/self control because we are not taught to believe that care and deliberate healing and patience and attention are disciplines themselves
chat reminder to just write whatever the fuck you want. write that overused trope. write that obscure shit that no one will have heard of. just. do it. your writing is yours stop depriving it of that.
I’m so tired of being at the circus, I’d like to go home now.
"The Empire is a disease that thrives in darkness, it is never more alive than when we sleep."

I eat breakfast and think of Gaza. I take a shower and I think of Gaza. I make christmas plans with my brother and think of Gaza. I call my friend to tell her I love her and I think of Gaza. I turn on a light and I think of Gaza. I go to protests and I think of Gaza. I take a walk by the river and think of Gaza. There is no thought in my mind not anchored to that place, many miles away from me
🚨ANDOR S2 SPOILERS🚨
Can’t stop thinking about how The Empire prioritizes subordination over competence.
Dedra FOUND Luthen. She solved the puzzle. She found a key part of the Rebellion. The Mastermind behind Aldhani. The guy who had a mole in the ISB’s inner circle for YEARS. But because she stepped out of line to do so she was thrown out. It didn’t matter that her insubordination was for the good of The Empire. The Empire lost one of their best minds because she hurt egos.
Anyways you know who would’ve loved Dedra?
