PUT IT IN THE LOURVE
Cersei on the boar that killed Robert
You should have been at the feast, Tyrion. There has never been a boar so delicious. They cooked it with mushrooms and apples, and it tasted like triumph.
Ugh, I need to know what goes on inside that head. She's so mother cuntress, someone sedate me.
I will literally start studying for a psychology degree to understand this woman at this rate, I swear to god.

I find so much happiness in shipping two random white guys together. Voidwalker/Sentryagent is adorable
Bob X John, Void Bob x John
This one's for my Cersei Lannister fascination. She is one evil ass bitch but she's a baddie with a wine based diet and she deserved better than Tywin.
people are literally so boring a male character will kill 10000 people and steal candy from babies and theyll be like omg thats my king! but a female character is rude once and theyre like i hope she dies violently
okay i totally think Mira and Zoey do some version of the Will Smith look at my wife meme at award shows and stuff. Like Rumi does anything vaguely impressive and the girls are there like "LOOK AT HER" because she's perfect
So I've been thinking about Jackie's death and the canon Julius Caesar parallels right, when you put that into context with what's been happening in season 3 teen timeline it makes a lot more sense. In relation, Lottie's arc also makes a lot more sense.
Because while JackieShauna is supposed to be a very obvious Brutus/Caesar parallel, Lottie parallels Antony. The iconic 'Friends, Romans and Countrymen' speech is from Antony's lines.
Going by story beats of Scene II Act II, where Antony and Brutus have a sort of orator off, they basically told us what would happen to Jackie, or rather her spirit, in the teen timeline years ago.
Brutus speaks for the cause of the conspirators, inspiring some emotion and support from the people but Marc Antony goes moments after him and uses his oratorical skills to inspire the people to literal mutiny. He brings forward Caesar's will and shows the people how much he cared about them, he comes down into the pulpit and points out all the wounds inflicted on Caesar's body and really goes the extra mile.
Compare this to what happens in season two, while there is some major differences, such as Lottie supporting Shauna's grief for one. The larger outlines in regards to religion and their belief in the wilderness is the same. Shauna and Tai to an extent try to rationalize but ultimately Lottie's charisma and her insistence in the wilderness wins out.
Interestingly as Brutus is the one who kicks off this orator-off by both speaking for Caesar and tarnishing his spirit, Shauna kicks off Snackie.
In that same parallel Javi would be Cinna, the poet who is brutally murdered after mutiny is inspired. Solely because he has the same name as one of the conspirators. In the wilderness there's nearly no mercy, even a teenage boy much younger than the rest of them has no wiggle room.
Okay getting to my point now, in Scenes I, II and III, Act IV we see the aftermath of Caesar's death. We see how Antony and Octavius are preparing to butt heads against Brutus and Cassius. In this scene, quite ironically Antony talks about siphoning and using some of the funds that Caesar left behind for the public to raise their army. He sends Lepidus on his way and then quite strangely compares him to a horse, essentially referring to him as a mere tool or vessel for a better man's cause.
Isn't that kind of what Lottie is doing in Season 3 with Travis and now Akilah? She ignores individual human dignity in favor of communing with the wilderness. Pushing Travis beyond his limits and not too bothered with the other happenings in camp. She immediately switches sides in the trial when she has a minor vision when Shauna is speaking.
Lottie also disregards (I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than her actively denying this because she doesn't care but...) the individual humanity of Javi, Wilderness Baby and Jackie. She turns them into some kind of wilderness spirits themselves which is ironic considering both Jackie and Javi wanted very little part in all that.
In the scenes following Brutus is also roiling in his own guilt and trying to rationalize. He accuses Cassius of accepting bribes then makes up with him, he's grieving the very tragic suicide of Portia but presents himself as getting over it. He also vows to his servant, Lucius, that if he should live he will be good to him and is plagued by a spectral vision of Caesar as a ghost.
Ghost Caesar specifically says the words 'Thy evil spirit, Brutus.' in response to him inquiring who the spirit is. Awfully JackieShauna coded no? Shauna vowing to do well with the baby but loosing him, being haunted by Jackie and ever plagued by guilt which she uses to moralize her questionable actions.
Nee, episode 4, because Brutus accuses Cassius of bribery and talks about how he would rather be a dog than sink that low. In this case it's not the same morality they're speaking of, because Shauna obviously knows she hates some people and rolls with it. Rather it's about Jackie's pride and her viewing herself as better than the others, especially after doomcoming. In reality, Brutus asks Cassius for money which he then accuses him of denying, it's giving Coach Ben and Shauna in ep 4.
Brutus is fine with getting money from bribes as long as he isn't the one raising it, apply it with Shauna's moral stance to the showdown in ep 4 and it's lowkey the same. She hates that Ben thinks he's better than the rest of them and is looking for someplace to project her grief and anger.
It's also very much worth noting that we don't know whether Ghost Caesar was referring to himself as a ghost or as a manifestation of the evil in Brutus' soul. Which, I don't think I have to fully explain this, we all know that Shauna and the girls' manifestation of Jackie is meaner than she is to cope with guilt and it might as well just be a giant sign over their heads that says that they didn't actually understand Jackie as a person or a secret other thing (too much to explain here).
There's like 50 other Julius Caesar and Yellowjackets parallels, which I will make if y'all wanna read it. Anyways here be blessed with this long yap.
Like there's a lot about Celine I find interesting but most interestingly it's how overtly queer looking this woman is. Those suits I mean??? Very classy, old gay style.
I'm 95% sure Celine is some kind of queer. You don't raise your bestie's half demon baby because she's the only part of her that's left with you for funsies. It probably had a very interesting effect on how Rumi was raised.
I can totally imagine her going "Rumi-ya love is love. You're allowed to like whomever you want, I'll still love you. BUT not demons. Love is love but except for demons."
And little baby Rumi who woke up like 10 mins ago and got handed a glass of milk and just wants to go watch Pororo is like, "Okay Celine!" Big toothless style smile, "Can you help me reach the remote?"
I also think this woman kept remotes out of her reach because Rumi kept accidentally crushing them to bits and started crying because now she can't turn the tv on.
Celine is standing there because oh shit the kid can't smile normally either.
I'm nerfing the wilderness in my fic and kicking its ass because I have a bone to pick with it.
You don't even have a corporal form weirdo, come fight me like a real man instead of sending weird ass visions and signs. Come ask for what you want and use your damn words, you're not cthulu and I know people more powerful than cthulu aka Wanda Maximoff, let's unleash Wanda on this sucker guys, let's have her demolish the wilderness and watch in utter joy and satisfaction.
I bet the wilderness is just some insecure loser who has to take out teenage girls and adult shaylas to feel peace, such lame behaviour, boo!
Update on my marvel fixit au. Henceforth all updates will be tagged #harnessyourhopes, so watch out for that.
It will take place in a different universe so while it's not the MCU's 199999 (I stand with Iman Vellani we step on 616), it is a pretty similar universe, so most of the characters and their characterizations will be the same up till Endgame. The only major difference is that I have a Fem OC to help move things along, who is queer too.
We have Blackhill, ValCarol, Agathario, Bishova, Darcy x Wanda, Xialing x Katy, Stucky, Wong x Stephen (I don't know the ship name sorry folks) and some token straight-ish ships we all know and love like FitzSimmons, LangDyne, Fosterson, Pepperony and Huntingbird, (I say straight-ish because we all know they're fruity, they just happen to be in het ships).
I am actively working on it (lotta words being written) so expect more updates soon. For now, I can confirm it will be a long fic with over 10 chapters, perhaps even more parts to continue it.
P.S I changed my username, from the lux archives, for convinience.
I was rearranging my room the other day and I broke down because most Widows never got to do that. Natasha maybe because of Ohio and Yelena maybe if she helped or got everyone to help but the other Widows?
They have no idea what it feels like to be 13 and the their biggest worry is how to rearrange their room to their liking. That breaks me. At 13 it was one of the most important things to me, to get a feel for my own space and make it nice with all the resources available with my own two hands.
I can't even- I'm going to go cry now.
The end justifies the means, but what if there never is an end? All we have is means.
