I’m Gonna Talk About The “men Don’t Receive Flowers Until After Their Death” Bullshit

I’m gonna talk about the “men don’t receive flowers until after their death” bullshit

I didn’t believe it as a kid back in my mega liberal phase until I got my first boyfriend a small bouquet as a gift (his team won debate championship and won a trip to the capital) and this mf LAUGHED in my face when I gave it to him

Another boyfriend I made him a homemade card for Valentine’s Day and he took the card and didn’t say thank you, only “you didn’t have to do that”

Another boyfriend would just donate shit I bought for him. Not even a thank you

So no I don’t give a flying fuck if a man doesn’t get flowers in his life and I don’t think he even deserves em in death

This is exactly why TRAs are always homophobic and biphobic.

A lesbian, trying to be as kind as possible, has twisted herself into knots to convince herself that she's bisexual because she believes in the gender cult.

Their ideology harms every LGB person, because it says that no real sexualities exist. There are only labels that affirm TIMs and TIFs while lesbians, bisexuals and gay men are supposed to hate ourselves some more and get back into closets and question ourselves even more painfully. We're nothing but objects to be used and abused by them.

"I Wish I Wasn't That Way" Honey You're A Lesbian And You Have Absolutely Nothing To Be Ashamed Of. You're

"I wish I wasn't that way" honey you're a lesbian and you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. You're surrounded by conversion therapy rhetoric and it's wrong. You aren't having a "genital preference" - you like women. The entire female form. You're a female homosexual. It's okay to be a lesbian.

There is nothing wrong with you. You shouldn't have to hide in order to pacify a mans ego.

re: your post on serial killers

you just described Richard Ramirez--opportunistic spree killer, think he even raped a few male victims--versus Ted Bundy, who attributed his obsessive focus on women to the porn he was addicted to.

do female-exclusive serial killers ever commit crimes *without* being porn addicts, or is porn addiction an essential part of their complex?

i could see a subcategory of fiends labeled "pornography-driven serial killers". especially because all male serial killers are misogynistic in some capacity already.

maybe not for vigilante killers, but calling vigilantes serial killers strikes me as a misnomer anyways.

i wanted to add to the post something about porn, or at least i kept it in mind for later. one of my friends is doing an assignment on bundy at the moment in criminology, one quote i found from him that i'm not yet sure how to feel about is:

You are going to kill me, and that will protect society from me. But out there are many, many more people who are addicted to pornography, and you are doing nothing about that.

alongside

I’ve lived in prison for a long time now, and I’ve met a lot of men who were motivated to commit violence just like me, and without exception every one of them was deeply involved in pornography Without question, without exception, deeply influenced and consumed by addiction to pornography,… the FBI’s own study on serial homicide shows that the most common interest among serial killers is pornography.

it kinda haunts me. some say he only said this to appeal to anti-porn republican groups and to appear as a "victim" to porn, and unfortunately, most of the info i've found on this topic are from Christian or catholic websites, but all the same, they seem all too based in reality to be complete lie.

also side note, fun fact: Bundy was not referring to and (as far as i'm aware) never did refer to filmed pornography, he was referring, at least in these quotes, to literary and magazine pornography. he started with magazines as a preteen and stated:

you reach that jumping off point where you begin to wonder if maybe actually doing it would give you that which is beyond just reading or looking at it.

You either support "trans rights" and "nonbinary existence" or you support women's rights and the LGB.

If someone supports "trans rights," then they're automatically misogynists and homophobes, at the very least.

It bears stating from the onset that feminism is a broad church. There are splits and schisms within it, usually pertaining to what constitutes useful, meaningful action towards women's liberation. It is, however, to put the cart before the horse to start by placing into these furrows. One does not have to be a feminist to become one of the 'hounded', though to be feminist at all arguably requires agreement with the trio of Core Beliefs that follow. For the sake of both clarity and brevity, these three Core Beliefs are identifiable as the beliefs that are at question when a woman – feminist or not – is targeted for opprobrium in the gender wars.

Core Belief 1: Women are materially definable as a class of human being. That means that the category definition of 'woman' describes those humans who are adult and female. The only criterion for being a woman is to be a female girl who survives into adulthood. No other criteria are necessary: no personality traits, no interests, no adornment or style of dress, no mandatory life choice must flow from this definition. This is the realm of category definitions and not value judgements.

Core Belief 2: Women (as adult female humans), are culturally, legislatively and politically important, with their own sets of needs, rights and concerns. On the basis of being female, such women assert the need in particular for female-only spaces, sports, and other services on the basis of privacy, dignity and/or safety – or, simply, in recognition that equality and social justice cannot be achieved where males and females are included together with competing interests in whatever space is under discussion.

Core Belief 3: Where social, cultural or legislative trends are under way – ones that may diminish women's rights and/or liberation – then women have a right to meet and discuss freely that which affects their lives profoundly. As such, when women's events are protested disproportionately via attempts to shut them down or to intimidate attendees, the women involved will respond with even more rigorous calls for debate and reassertion of their right to freedom of speech and assembly.

I know what's meant here, but I feel like men get away with their abuse and manipulation too often by tricking women into just believing that they're stupid. If they're stupid, they're not doing anything bad maliciously, they're just too stupid to know any better. Instead, it's a deliberately manipulative tactic by straight men to target vulnerable women and shield themselves from criticism or call outs.

Straight men will lie to TIFs' faces and tell them that they see them as men, all to get them into bed, then abandon them and laugh at them later.

Falsely claiming bisexuality also cements them as more believable "progressive allies," because suddenly, they're oppressed, too.

They can then push into LGB spaces, harass bisexual women and lesbians, and then get bisexuals in general blamed for their predatory, straight male behaviour.

If none of that works out, or someone sees through the bullshit, they drop the bisexual and then claim the nebulous queer instead, and any criticism is then immediately classed as homophobic, so there's no accountability at all.

If you’re ever feeling insecure about your intelligence just remember there are males out there who call themselves bisexual because they’re attracted to females and trans-identified females
