“I was taking pictures of everything around me, among them Debbie ... I was always aware of her astonishing looks and the effect she had on people.” - chris stein (me, blondie and the advent of punk)
It’s vacation time for me! ✨Real talk though: I’m not someone who finds travel to be relaxing. It’s actually really stressful for me - packing, handling the logistics, being in a country where I barely speak the language, feeling overstimulated, etc etc. But for me it’s not about relaxation, but about adventure. I love discovering new places, especially natural landscapes that I barely see in my own country. It’s always a huge source of inspiration to my art. Here’s a collection of drawings I’ve made that were directly inspired by places I’ve visited on previous trips!
