I got two new monster high dolls in today and I’m obsessed with them! One is a 28 inch tall monster high doll whose eyes change color when you press the button on the back of her neck and the other is a two headed mermaid!!

Do you think he can do tricks?

Imagine you’re Gregory House and you work exclusively alone and stupid Cuddy is making you take on a fellow or you have to up clinic hours by double. So of course you’re gonna make it fun. So you decide to find the richest, most pretentious and privileged doctor you can find (since cuddy won’t let you hire an untrained pr*stitute), a real ‘mommy and daddy’s little Angel’ type, and BREAK them. So lucky for you Rowan Chase has a son that’s going off the deep end and really needs a job to straighten him out. Perfect. So you hire the little shit and decide to see how long it takes to break down his worldview. And he walks in, flowy golden hair, pretty eyes, and a fresh face. Of course he’s pretty too, even more privilege. Jackpot.

So you start him out and see how long it takes for him to call you poor and threaten to tell daddy, or use the phrase “do you know who my father is??” And in a cunning plan you tell this kid to break into a patient’s house to find clues to their deteriorating state (you know what’s causing it but GOD if it isn’t interesting) And to your surprise he does, not only that, but finds a diagnosis, proving you wrong in the process. So you ask him to do more and more and get you a coffee on the way, and he does. The poor kid looks like bambi after his mother got shot when he realises he messed the order up. You put off and put off sacking the poor kid, because he’s fun and nervous, but he’s daring too, willing to start a good argument, but desperate to please. Not at ALL what you’d expected.

And then Wilson starts liking the kid, becoming grossly paternal, bringing him food and looking after him when he had to jump out of a window on a house visit (whoops) and telling you off when you go too far. You ignore the rapidly increasing connections you’re finding to the three of you and a family unit; you’re meant to toy with the kid! Not teach him how to throw a ball.

And then you find yourself looking out for the stupid kid too. When he gets into fights or, hell, subtly praising him when he thinks you’re disappointed.

And you realise you really like this kid, so when Cuddy asks if he’s too much of a handful and how it’s going you have to make up some excuse about having a young and pretty secretary is actually pretty useful, despite having the wrong parts.

That stupid little spoilt brat you wanted to hire is actually an ambitious doctor that’s had no support, and you realise you actually want to keep him around and- despite the fact you’d never admit it- want to see him thrive. And if you hear him slip up and call you dad once or twice? You’ll let it slide.

Don’t think of Odalia being willing to abandon her children to save her own skin

Don’t think of the kids running out of food and giving the last bits to the younger kids

Don’t think of these kids, abandoned in a world-changing without them, trying to raise other kids

Don’t think of the kids comforting the younger kids, so sad and scared, unable to understand why their parents have left them

Don’t think about Edric’s body never being quite right after all that’s happened

Don’t think about his wrists clicking or locking or how he limps when it rains

Don’t think of Emira painstakingly bandaging him, her hands shaking horribly, thinking of if her baby sister was hurt just as bad or worse

Don’t think of Boscha, watching her loved ones be possessed, and suddenly being in charge of everyone else

Don’t think of how lonely and abandoned she felt

Don’t think of how the kids have the weight of the world on their shoulders

Don’t think of how out of control Hunter and Willow felt

Don’t think of how tired Luz is

Don’t think of how worried Amity has been

Don’t think of how the weight of all the secrets he keeps was slowly crushing Gus

Don’t think of Camila realizing for the first time how out of their element her kids were in her home

Don’t think of how betrayed the Collector felt

Roxas fractured Riku's left wrist during their fight in Days, when Riku sought to capture him and wake Sora from his sleep. This is why in KH2 and DDD he wears the wrap around it. Roxas fractures it with Oblivion, which is ironic, since Oblivion represents Sora's forgotten memories of Riku. [I'm pretty convinced it represents the forgotten memory of his death, and a promise they made as children, specifically]

During the DDD intro rendition of Riku and Sora's fight with Xemnas, you can see it is clearly bothering him. He looks at it and flexes it, before Xemnas punts him. This blow appears to be across the face/left shoulder, but it's not really clear. Probably also hurt super bad.

After this, when Xemnas is about to finish off Sora, Riku deflects the blow and pushes Sora to safety, leaving him open to this blow from Xemnas.

Which I believe also fractured the left side of his hip. This is why he had so much trouble walking after the battle, and had to be helped by Sora.

I find Riku's walk very stiff, especially compared to other characters. And I might be imagining it, but I feel like he has an ever so slight limp, barely there at all. Fractures around joints can cause stiffness and arthritis when they don't set properly.

When Riku stands to protect Sora, he presents the left side of his body foremost. His most damaged side.

When the darkness begins consuming his body, the camera again intentionally focuses on his left leg and left hand, and you can see them falter slightly. Especially his hand, you can see it contort. Riku is actually in a shit ton of pain here. That's why Sora gasped and reached out to him, he could see it hurting him.

Riku has physical handicaps, his left wrist and left hip, that both originated from him protecting Sora. Not to mention how he stood there and literally let the darkness eat him alive trying to protect him.

So I want to point out the significance of this scene at the end of KH2.

Upon seeing Kairi, in his joy Sora immediately seems to forget about Riku's injuries, which came from... Riku protecting him. Riku is shown growing distant in the background, walking slowly, struggling, being left behind by Sora. But he's happy that Sora is happy, and safe, because that's what's most important to him. I imagine however, that he was also incredibly sad watching Sora run to Kairi, knowing that Sora wanted to be next to her at that moment rather than him, even though Riku had suffered so much for his sake.

The way the shot is framed, as Sora runs toward Kairi, he blocks out the sun completely.

If he had stopped, turned around, and looked at Riku, he would have been looking directly at the light.

Bose calls Henry to talk about his parental problems a lot

Mika does her own hair and occasionally does Miles’ too

Sometimes Miles and Mika have to sleep in the same room to ensure they’re both still there and okay

Miles has multiple places only he knows about and that he occasionally teleports to just to get some time away

Bose occasionally has trouble setting boundaries leading to the others’ unintentionally hurting him

In the opposite direction Chapa occasionally preemptively sets too many boundaries causing the others to accidentally exclude her

Miles runs late to things a lot of the time because he constantly thinks, “It’ll only take me a second to get there!” even if he’s meant to already be there

Mika drinks tea almost every night to soothe her throat preemptively

Chapa makes most of her own clothes but Miles can sew better than she can

Mika struggles to meet the expectations she has set for herself, often leading to burnout and breakdowns

Miles often struggles with how his interpersonal values conflict with beating up criminals all the time

Due to going to school together and fighting crime together all four kids quickly become codependent

Chapa sometimes has to spend hours or days to herself just to get away from all the stress being a superhero causes

Bose was the first of them to get seriously hurt on a mission, forcing him on bed rest for a week, and off active field duty for at least a month

It was the first time the others really realized that one day this job may kill them

A few villains retired after Kid Danger “died” and more are extra careful with how they treat Danger Force, just in case

As the kids get older they spend a lot of time making up on the schoolwork they missed when they were younger

As the kids get older they get more and more disillusioned with the whole superhero gimmick

They all quit being sidekicks like Henry did although at different times

Miles quits first, deciding he’s ready for a more peaceful approach

Chapa quits next, feeling constrained by Ray and like she’s ready to be an adult

Bose leaves after her, more peacefully than the other two but not without at least one screaming match

Mika lasts the longest but eventually has to leave to go to college and live her life

Ray often wonders if taking in more sidekicks was truly a good idea

Schwoz loves the kids as though they’re his own

He often gives them money (that he may or may not have taken from Ray) to allow them to go out like normal teenagers

If Bose overuses his powers he can get migraines occasionally resulting in nose bleeds and on the worst days nausea

The first time it happened he threw up and fainted

It was terrifying for everyone to witness

If Mika overuses her powers she loses her voice for about a week and can’t super scream for even longer

The overuse will make her throat swell as well, causing her to have difficulty breathing

It’s extremely painful and the only thing the others can do is give her medicine and make her soothing drinks

When Miles overuses his powers he gets extreme vertigo.

He’s also often nauseous making it near impossible to move.

It’s disconcerting and no one's ever sure how long it will last.

When Chapa overuses her powers her hands and other extremities go numb

She can still summon lightning but she has no control over the output or direction it goes leading it to be dangerous for everyone around her

She usually just has to carry around insulation gloves and wait for her hands to regain feeling
